Analisis Daya Saing Ekspor Karet Alam (Natural Rubber) Indonesia di Pasar Internasional

The purpose of this study was to analyze the development of Indonesia's natural rubber exports and analyze the competitiveness of Indonesian natural rubber in the International market. The data used in this study was a secondary data export raw natural rubber Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia during the period 1996-2010. The data was taken from the value and volume of exports of natural rubber in the International market. The analytical method used was the Revealed Comparative Advantage ( RCA ) and Constant Market Share ( CMS ). The results of this study indicate that the development of Indonesia's natural rubber exports tend to increase every year. The level of the comparative advantage of Indonesia's natural rubber exports relatively higher than Malaysia. Meanwhile during the period 1996-2006, the level of the comparative advantage of Indonesia was lower than Thailand. While during the period 2007-2010, the level of the comparative advantage of Indonesia's natural rubber is relatively higher than Thailand. This data indicated that Indonesia has a comparative advantage exports of natural rubber were getting better every year. From the CMS analysis note that the competitiveness of Indonesia's natural rubber exports more influenced by standard growth and competitiveness effects. This represents an increase of Indonesia's natural rubber exports more influenced by the growth of the world's natural rubber exports. Additionally, Indonesia also exports natural rubber has high competitiveness due to the excellence of product quality or better price

Teacher\u27s Willingness Towards the Implementation of Scientific Approach: From Theory to Implementation

Attitude is essential issue to be considered in designing an appropriate learning for learners because it greatly affects the performance and implementation of the teaching and learning process in the classroom. One of the most important attitudes to be explored is the willingness of teachers to implement the curriculum set by the government. This study aims to determine the willingness of English teachers to carry out scientific approach and also to know the implementation of scientific approach in the learning. This research applies qualitative approach with case study design. It is conducted in SMAN 1 Situbondo with three teachers become the informants. Interview and observation are implemented to explore the willingness and the implementation of Scientific Approach. Data analysis in this research using Spradley\u27s method. From this research, it can be seen that the teachers has enough willingness to apply scientific approach totally. Furthermore, the implementation of scientific approach has been implemented well enough and has implemented it in accordance with government regulation

Implementasi Metode Technique for Others Reference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) Untuk Pemberian Beasiswa Berprestasi

Beasiswa merupakan bantuan biaya sehingga bisa mengikuti kegiatan belajar dengan biaya yang lebih ringan. Beasiswa adalah suatu bentuk penghargaan terhadap mahasiswa yang masih berkuliah yang selama ini telah menjalani pendidikannya sampai wisuda. Ada beberapa jenis beasiswa pada saat ini, terutama beasiswa prestasi. Pemberian beasiswa berprestasi akan dilihat dari prestasi akademik selama kelangsungan perkuliahan secara keseluruhan. Seperti, dilihat dari bentuk IPK (Indeks Prestasi Komulatif), penghargaan atas jasa penemuan dan mendaptkan penghargaan atas pencapaian dibidang akedmik maupun kegiatan non-akademik lainnya. Setiap tahunnya adanya beasiswa yang dilkaukan oleh pihak STIH Padang terhadap mahasiswa atas prestasi pencapaiannya, dimana akan meningatkan kualitas minat belajar mahasiswa. Dosen yang saat ini yang bertanggung jawab atas pemberian beasiswa berprestasi pada Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Hukum Padang atau STIH Padang masih menggunakan cara manual dalam menetukan beasiswa yang berprestasi bagi mahasiswa yang sedang melanjutkan program pendidikan sarjana. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan seperti yang dijelaskan sebelumnya, maka penulis melakukan pendekatan solusi dengan membangun suatu Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK). SPK dipilih karena yang dibutuhan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan adalah suatu sistem rekomendasi penilaian berbasis teknologi yang mampu dengan cepat, tepat dan objektif memproses data mahasiswa yang aan diinputkan oleh dosen matakuliah yang bersangkutan. Penulis menggunakan metode TOPSIS (Technique for Others Reference by Similarity to Ideal Solution). Sistem ini terbukti efektif mampu memberikan rekomendasi solusi terbaik. Hasil yang ditampilkan oleh sistem dapat memberikan informasi kepada admin atau pengelola beasiswa tentang penerima beasiswa sesuai dengan perhitungan, selanjutnya admin atau pengelola beasiswa dapat mengumumkan mengenai informasi penerima beasiwa yang berhak
