Institute for the Development and Quality Assurance of Education, University of Riau has the task of coordinating, implementing, monitoring, and evaluation of improvement activities and the development of learning and education quality assurance University of Riau. Less serious Riau University in developing educators, where the lack of seriousness with the phenomenon: lack of development road map educators, lack of coordination between units in the development of educators development of educators partial (not complete), lack of competence map educators University of Riau and not the division of labor in a unit in the development of educators.The purpose of this study is to investigate the implementation of quality assurance policies Riau University in the development of the quality of teachers from 2010 to 2014 and to identify obstacles in the implementation of quality assurance policies Riau University in the development of the quality of teachers 2010-2014. In this study the authors used qualitative methods and this paper outlines in a descriptive way. In gathering research data, the data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation.The results of this study concluded that quality assurance policy Riau University in the development of the quality of teachers 2010-2014 has not done well because in addition to lack of support also their educators who join the training is placed in a different position so that experienced problems in its development. Obstacles in the implementation of quality assurance policies Riau University in the development of the quality of teachers 2010-2014: (1) awareness is still lacking lecturers and employees, (2) Limited facilities and infrastructure, and (3) Budget less

Penentuan Effort Rate pada Estimasi Effort Menggunakan Metode Use Case Point untuk Pengembangan Perangkat Lunak Website Kepemerintahan

Effort estimation using Use Case Point (UCP) method obtained from the multiplication of the UCP with the Effort Rate (ER). Some studies conclude that there is some value of ER used in the calculation of effort estimation. However, the most often used is the ER with value 20 man-hours given by Karner. Disputes about the research that is ER by Karner occurred in 1993, so it is possible that the ER by Karner not suitable when applied in the calculation of effort estimation for the project worked on in 2013 and the years to come. This study used 8 data of governance website software development projects. The data is used to calculate actual effort, making use case diagrams, and calculations UCP estimation. Further level of analysis that is performed correlation and regression equations for actual effort and the UCP estimation. Based on the regression equation then performed calculations tangent ? to produce the ER. From this research produced the ER as big as 5,178 man-hours. The ER is much smaller than the value given by Karner ER. Perancangan SCADA Software Dengan Wonderware InTouch Recipe Manager Dan SQL Access Manager Pada Simulator Proses Pencampuran Bahan

Nowadays, many industries has applied automation system by using PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition). Wonderware InTouch is a kind of SCADA software available. In order to organize data in recipe and database, Wonderware provides Recipe Manager and SQL Access Manager. In this research, the process of paper making will be used as an industrial case study. In order to describe the process, a simulator plant will be made. It connects to PLC Omron C200HG and a computer which installed with Wonderware InTouch. In SCADA software that has been made, user can choose, delete, and create new recipe which is contained material mixture composition. When the system is running, sensor datas will be stored in a database and it can be seen by user. Security , trend, and alarm features are available too in this program. Based on overall experiment results through SCADA program that connected to PLC and simulator mixing plant, it can be concluded that all features in the program can run well

Perancangan Film Dokumenter Biografi Yap Thiam Hien

Yap Thiam Hien adalah seorang advokat peranakan Tionghoa. Beliau dilahirkan di Banda Aceh pada tanggal 25 Mei 1913 dan meninggal pada tanggal 25 April 1989. Semasa hidupnya, Yap berjuang menegakkan HAM di Indonesia. Yap sesungguhnya memiliki kesempatan untuk memiliki hidup yang lebih mudah dan tenang dengan latar belakang pendidikan hukum Belanda yang ia miliki. Namun ia memilih untuk menempuh jalur berbeda, yaitu berjuang melawan kesewenang-wenangan. Perjuangan Yap masih terus berjalan bahkan hingga 25 tahun setelah ia meninggal. Study of Sound Frequency of Red Snapper (Lutjanus Argentimaculatus) as an Attractor (Laboratory Scale)

Fish have spesific characteristic of sound frequency. This sound frequency can be received by fish to responds. Connectivity between sound frequency and fish respond indicates that source of sound frequency has been to function as an attractor. The objectives of this research were to determine the sound frequency of L. argentimaculatus and to describe fish respond of the sound frequency that records as an attractor for fish to find to signal in a laboratory scale. Source of sound frequency was L. argentimaculatus with total length 17 – 22 cm that doing some activities to find feed. Attractor that used in this research was a to research sound editting frequency recording of L. argentimaculatus that was feeding activity and sound of feed target.Lowest frequency range of L. argentimaculatus was 100,8 Hz while highest frequency range was 3244,1 Hz with the intensity range was 30 dB to 57 dB. The significant response time difference of L. argentimaculatus was between morning and daytime observation and between daytime and evening observation
