    Indonesia ranks fourth in the world to the number of birds after Colombia, Peru, and Brazil.  The Sulawesi island species settler bird around 224 species land and fresh water bird, which is 41 species of them were endemic types and the most endemic bird found in the Sulawesi island. The Malona’s village forest production includes the work KPH Dampelas, the forest production was of hills and mountains  so that the environment has such a variety of plants that they provide food, make a nests, and shelter from any threat to this particular type of bird .The research aims to identify the diversity of birds in the forest production. The research was in forest production areas at the KPH Dampelas workplace, Malonas Village, Dampelas District, Donggala Regency on February-March 2019. observation locale in open and closed habitats, the method used was  point count. Data processing by analyzing the composition of birds, diversity of kinds, attendance rates of kinds, index arrangement  of kinds, kind of domination. The result was found 20 species of birds with 134 individuals, include 10 famili and 11 species built-in as endemic of birds. The value of the diversity index in forests of H '= 2.85 shows that the index of diversity of that type is moderate, the value of the index of E= 0.95 it shows the distribution of the relative uniform between species and there are 9 kinds of birds with an individual being so abundant that it becomes the dominant type of bird.Keywords: Birds, Forest Production, Biodiversit

    Traditional medicine is a hereditary legacy from our ancestors that is deeply rooted in the culture of the nation, therefore both in its ingredients and in its use as traditional medicine are still based on experiences passed down from generation to generation, both orally and in writing. The use of traditional medicine by the community is used as alternative medicine until now, especially in the Village of Landonan Bebeau. The purpose of this research was to collect data on the types of plants used as traditional medicines, to record parts of plants that are used as medicine and to record how to use traditional medicinal plants. The research was conducted for 2 months, from January to March 2021 in Landonan Bebeau Village, South Buko District, Banggai Islands Regency. This research uses an exploratory survey method using a descriptive approach, then the utilization is known by interviews with the community using the proposive sampling method. The data will then be described about utilization and will then be analyzed using a percentage, there are 78 species of medicinal plant species from 31 plant families used as traditional medicinal plants, with the percentage of plant parts used as medicine, 1% soil, 10% tubers, Roots 7%, stems 18%, leaves 73%, fruit 2%, flowers 3%, and 1% moss, and the number of presentations on how to use plants is cooked 42.5% pounded 18.7%, shaved 2.5%, drunk directly 1.25%, rubbed 2.5%, affixed to 5%, heated 2.5%, and dropped 2.5

    Natural tourism area Bambarano has the object and tourist attraction of nature supported by beautiful natural panorama and the cool air, besides having a tourist attraction, the area has a wealth of flora and fauna as well as the tourism potential that can developed as the beach, estuary or Lake Dampelas, culture, local communities, as well as the beauty of the landscapes. The purpose of this research is to know the potential of the development of Ecotourism In the tourist area of realms of Sabang Village Bambarano Dampelas subdistrict of Donggala. Whereas the usefulness of the research that is expected to give an overview and information to the parties concerned. This research was carried out from December 2018 to 2019 February month In the tourist area of realms of Sabang Village Bambarano Dampelas subdistrict of Donggala. This research uses a two-stage research: qualitative descriptive method using analysis and SWOT analysis. Research results showed the potential for ecotourism in the tourist area of realms of Bambarano village of Dampelas sub-district of Donggala Sabang is the beach, Estuary or Lake Dampelas, Mangrove Forests, the types of Flora and Fauna, while the art and cultures in natural tourism area Bambarano namely Ceremony Adata Sando Ngapang, custom Menembel (Ritual traditionally treatment), Molead/rub the teeth with a stone. Bambarano development strategies In the tourist area of Realms according the SWOT analysis, IE. (1) Develope the potential of the object and tourist attraction such as arts and culture. (2) the development of tourism activities supporting facilities. (3) Hold the improvements and the addition of facilities and infrastructure supporting activities.     Kemampuan sains anak di TK Harapan Bunda Kabupaten Solok Selatan masih rendah ini terlihat dari kurangnya kemampuan anak dalam bereksperimen tentang ekplorasi alam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan sains anak melalui eksplorasi alam (sawah). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yaitu suatu penelitian yang dilakukan oleh guru di dalam kelasnya untuk meningkatkan proses pembelajaran yang lebih baik, dan menggunakan metode campuran antara kualitatif dan kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan subjek penelitian anak TK Harapan Bunda kabupaten Solok Selatan khususnya kelompok B1 dengan jumlah 16 orang anak

    This research aimed to revitalizethe local institution and its implication on the management of natural resources in Lore Lindu National Park area. The research was conducted at the village of Toro, Kulawi district, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi, from October through December 2013. The method used in this study is the method of historical and institutional analysis and qualitative approach by interview process on key informants as respondents.The results showed that institutional revitalization was influenced by community needs on institution development caused social dynamics and community economy. New institutional revitalization has implication on structure and regulation change of local institution of Toro village. Institution in Toro was contributed by local leadership role particularly in determination of natural resources and social economy.     A forest park is a nature conservation area for the purpose of collection of plants and / or non-originals, which are used for research, science, education supporting cultivation, culture, tourism and recreation. This research was conducted for 2 months, from July to August 2019 in the Tahura Tourism Area in Ngatabaru, Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawsi Province. The study was conducted using a survey method by making a path by intentional sampling of the starting point based on the type of medicinal plant found. The results showed 17 species of medicinal plants found from 12 families. %. Diversity of medicinal plants at tree growth rates of 0,79. The pole level is 0,21. The stake rate is 122. At the level of seedlings and undergrowth obtained at 0,25. So the diversity of medicinal plants according to growth rates are generally classified as low to moderate

    This research was based on misconception or misunderstanding on the concept of gender and the less acceptance on the female’s leadership in State Institute for Islamic Studies (IAIN) Padangsidimpuan. The aims of this research are to describe the perception of civitas academic on gender equality and on women’s leadership in IAIN Padangsidimpuan. The method has been used in this research was qualitiative research by using observation, questionnairesm and interviews. The informants of this research was 48 students and 40 persons from lecturers and others. Data were analyzed through grouping, verifying, interpreting, and taking conclusion. The result of this studying shown that all civitas acedemics IAIN Padangsidimpuan was known enough about the gender equality and also felt welcome to the female leader. From 100% of informants of this research, 75,34% civitas academics knew about or familiar with the equality of gender and also 78,60% welcome to the female leadership. Thus, it can be stated that the concepts of gender equality was understood enough and being applied in IAIN Padangsidimpuan, it was proved by appreciating and accepting the leadership from women in IAIN Padangsidimpua

    Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah motivasi membaca mahasiswa yang masih tergolong rendah dan kemampuan membaca yang masih dikatakan belum cukup memuaskan. Hal inilah yang menyebabkan peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian ini, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah motivasi membaca tersebut memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan membaca mereka. Penelitian ini menguji hubungan antara motivasi membaca dan kemampuan membaca mahasiswa Bahasa Inggris di IAIN Padangsidimpuan. Penelitian ini dalam bentuk kuantitatif dengan tipe korelasi, dengan mengambil 40 mahasiswa sebagai sampel penelitian. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah angket tentang motivasi membaca dan tes membaca pemamahaman dalam bentuk pilihan berganda. Data dianalisa menggunakan analisis statistik  melalui SPSS 22. Dari hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa motivasi membaca mahasiswa pada level baik karena memiliki skor sekitar 80, namun untuk kemampuan membaca mahasiswa, nilai rata-ratanya hanya pada level cukup, sekitar 60 saja. Selanjutnya, dari analisa data yang dilakukan maka ditemukan bahwa korelasi antara kedua variable adalah sangat lemah, namun terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi membaca dengan kemampuan membaca dari hasil uji-t, dan dinyatakan bahwa hipotesis diterim

    The people of Mataue Village who live around forest areas have a very high dependence on forest products to meet their needs. One type of forest product used by the Mataue community is non-timber forest products (NTFPs). Non-timber forest products used in various forms, especially in different areas, are sugar palm, bamboo, rattan, candlenut and medicinal plants. This study aims to identify the forms of non-timber forest products by the Mataue Village community in the utilization, management and use of non-timber forest products utilized by the Mataue Village community. This research was carried out from April to July 2021, in Mataue Village, Kulawi District, Sigi Regency. The method used is descriptive qualitative. This sampling was carried out by survey method and purposive sampling, which used non-timber forest product utilization forms, with a total of 38 families of respondents. It consists of the hamlet head (key informant), community leaders and the Mataue Village community who are involved in the utilization of non-timber forest products (NTFPs). The results show that research on the use of non-timber forest products (NTFPs) by the Mataue Village community is classified as very high because most of the community's needs come from forest areas in the use of non-timber forest products in the form of candlenut plants, bamboo, sugar palm, rattan, fragrance, and medicinal plants. The types of non-timber forest products in Mataue Village include plants producing handicrafts, producing food, medicinal plants and herbs for cooking spices.Keywords: Non-Timber Forest Products, Forms of Utilization (NTFPs

    KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS ANGGREK DI KAWASAN HUTAN DESA REJEKI KECAMATAN PALOLO KABUPATEN SIGI

    Indonesia is an archipelago located on the equator which makes Indonesia very rich in biodiversity, such as trees, epiphytes, lianas, orchids and others. Specifically for Indonesian orchids, it is estimated that there are approximately 3,000 types of orchids. But until now, certain information regarding the distribution and ecological character in particular is still very limited. The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity of orchid species found in the Forest Zone of the Rejeki Village. This research was conducted from March to May 2018, located in the Rejeki Village Forest Area, Palolo District, Sigi Regency. Orchid data collected includes types of orchids, the number of individual orchids of each type. This research was carried out exploratively in the forest area. The method used is the path method carried out by purposive sampling line (intentional) and then systematically sampling. Data were analyzed using the Type (H ') Diversity Index. The results showed that the calculation of the diversity index of orchid species (H ') in the village of Rejeki, Palolo Subdistrict, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province was classified as moderate at 1.71231. The results of the calculation of the Diversity Index (H ') for each natural orchid species found at a research location that has a high H' value are Spathoglotis plicata Blume species. With a large value of 0.36724 or 23 species out of 59 natural species found. Subsequently followed by species of Phreatia micranha (A.Rich.) Lindl) with an H value of 0.35961 or 12 species from 59 species of natural orchids, Ceologyne celebensis J.
