STUDI STABILITAS TRANSIEN PADA SISTEM TENAGA LISTRIK MULTIMESIN UNTUK BERBAGAI JENIS PSS (POWER SISTEM STABILIZER)
Stabilitas Transien adalah kemampuan sistem tenaga untuk memulihkan kondisi operasi menjadi normal setelah terjadi gangguan. Gangguan tersebut dapat berupa pelepasan beban, pembangkit dan gangguan terhadap hubung singkat. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui stabilitas transien pada sistem tenaga listrik multimesin untuk berbagai jenis PSS (power system stabilizer). Adapun jenis PSS yang digunakan antara lain yakni PSS-PID,Generic dan Multiband. Penerapan pada model Power System Stabilizer (PSS) - 1A didasarkan pada penggunaan standart IEEE 421.5-2005 yang sangat efektif untuk meredam osilasi akibat terjadinya gangguan. Simulasi dilakukan dengan membandingan hasil pemasangan ketiga jenis PSS yang dilakukan secara terpisah. Hipotesis sementara pada simulasi sistem pembangkit listrik menunjukan bahwa hasil penggunaan PSS yang paling efektif adalah sesuai dengan penggunaan dan keunggulan masing-masing
