Резюме. Асоціація між цукровим діабетом і туберкульозом та їх синергічна роль визнані протягом століть. Метою аналітичного огляду доступних наукових джерел було узагальнити відомості щодо епідеміології цукрового діабету та туберкульозу, оцінити прогностичний вплив порушень вуглеводного обміну на частоту розвитку маніфестного туберкульозу і спрогнозувати основні ризики щодо ефективної фармакологічної корекції подвійного захворювання. Резюме. Ассоциация между сахарным диабетом и туберкулезом и их синергическая роль признаны на протяжении столетий. Целью аналитического обзора доступных научных источников было обобщение сведений по частоте эпидемиологии сочетания сахарного диабета и туберкулеза, оценка прогностического влияния сахарного диабета на частоту и развитие туберкулезной инфекции и прогнозирование основных рисков фармакологической коррекции сочетанного заболевания.
