    Instructional Model to Teach Biography Writing using Quantum Teaching-learning Strategies. The study was aimed at developing a model for the teaching of biography writing using quantum learning strategy. To devise the model, three main steps were taken: pre-development of the model, development of the model, and examination of the effectiveness of the model. The research re­sults are three models: 1) syllabus and evaluation system for the teaching of biography writing, 2) learn­ing materials and VCD, and 3) teaching scenario. Quantitative data analysis shows that the three models have a relatively high degree of effectiveness. In addition, there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores on biography writing ability using quantum learning strategy (p < .001). So, it can be concluded that the three models of learning sets are effective and have significant effects on the improvement of biography writing ability of the students

    Recognize of the existence of traditional law society and their right including communal land is acknowledged, distributed in various regulations and laws. However, the existence of this regulation does not give much meanings because it is still underestimated by the regional government, proven that there are still many territorial right land conflicts. This research is conducted to findout solutions for the problems relating to the rearangement of territorial of communal right land with the purpose of being able to find out and formulate the appropriate arangement model both from the aspect of format and legal formulation. The research results conclude: firstly, horizontally and vertically, the are many laws and orders that are not synchronous, harmonious, overiaping to each other, and they prone to couse conflicts, especially the matters concerning the communal land. Secondly, the regulations that will be created would be better if they have an equal level to Acts as mandated in the Second Amendment of 1945 Constitution. Thirdly, the formulation that should exist in that Act should at least include: 1) acknowledgment of traditional law society with their communal right land from the government; 2) utilization of FPIC (Free, Prior and Informed Concent) instruments reflected in UNDRIP (United Nations Declaration on the Right of Indigenous Peoples) as the conditions of communal right land USAge by outside parties; 3) measurement, communal right land mapping, and construction of pole s borders; 4) issuence of proprietary right certificatea or USAge right upon the communal right land by paying attention to the characteristics of the traditional law societ

    Law an order regulating ulayat rights have not been commposed systematically and they have the ego-sector nature, thus, their implementation becomes overlapping and prone to cause conflicts. Hierarchically, the future law and order shouldhave the level of an Act as orderedin Article 18 B verse (2) Conctitution, so that, they have only ministry ordinance level, which is, the Agrarian Minister Ordinance No.5/1999 and they are not included in Act No.12/2011 concerning the Composition of Law and Order, so that they tend to be not executed by regional government. The formulation should exists in the above Act at least includes:1) acknowledgment of traditional societies with their ulayat rights; 2) the use of FPIC (Free, Prior and Informed Consent)instrument; 3) measurement, mapping of the ulayat rights land,placement of post for borders; 4) improvement of propietary rights certificate of the ulayat land

    A Protrait Participation In Decision Making Among Accounting Lectures In YOGYAKARTA

    As a developing country, Indonesia has been facing problems regarding finding the ways how to improve her higher education quality. In this study, lecturer participative decision making (hereafter abbreviated, PDM)) is observed and analysed to be linked with lecturer satisfation, commitment, and performance.Mail survey was used to collect the data. Open-ended questionnaires were distributed to the accounting lectures at faculty of economics and business in Yogyakarta Special Region, Indonesia. A total of 61usable packets of questionnaires were obtained by dual rater approach. Data were analyzed by employing tabulation, anovaandregressionanalysis.It is found that lecturer participation will increase lecturer performance. Nevertheles, lecturer participation is beyond the track of getting lecturer satisfaction and lecturer commitment. Lecturer participation may be useful to boost lecturer commitment based on the single rating. In response jangling results, theoritical and empirical discussion are presented to provide useful academic and managerial recomendations

    Artikel ini mengkaji tujuan, konteks, historis, kekuasaan, ideologi, dan politik pitutur luhur budaya Jawa berdasarkan teori analisis wacana. Pembelajaran berdasar teori belajar paikem dengan langkah ‘tandur'. Hasil pengkajian menunjukkan bahwa pitutur luhur memengaruhi perilaku peserta didik menjadi lebih berkarakter. Dari aspek konteks, pitutur luhur berhasil membangun konteks yang luas. Dari aspek historis mampu mengembangkan dan melestarikan budaya Jawa di berbagai aspek kehidupan. Dari aspek kekuasaan dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber etika, dan dari aspek politik dapat sebagai strategi dakwah yang mudah diterima sebagai pembangun karakter. Pembelajaran pitutur luhur dilaksanakan secara terpadu dengan menempuh tiga tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Pada tahap pelaksanaan ditempuh enam langkah tandur, yaitu tumbuhkan, alami, namai, demonstrasi, ulangi, dan rayakan. Tahap evaluasi ditempuh teknik penugasan dan pengamatan terhadap perilaku siswa

    ANALISIS UNSUR Fe, Ca, Ti, Ba, Ce, Zr DAN La DALAM SEDIMEN LAUT DI SEMENANJUNG MURIA DENGANMETODE XRF. Telah dilakukan analisis unsur-unsur (Fe, Ca, Ti, Ba, Ce, Zr dan La) dalam cuplikan lingkungansedimen laut di semenanjung Muria dengan menggunakan metode spektrometer pendar sinar-X (XRF). Tujuanpenelitian untuk mengetahui sebaran unsur-unsur yang mengakomodasikan data lingkungan terkini dalam rangkamendukung ijin tapak dan Analisis Mengenai Dampak Lingkungan (AMDAL) Pusat Listrik Tenaga Nuklir (PLTN).Pengambilan cuplikan, preparasi maupun analisisnya mengacu pada prosedur analisis cuplikan lingkungan. Darihasil analisis diperoleh unsur mayor yang terkandung dalam sedimen untuk ke 7 lokasi sampling sedimen lautadalah Ca, Ti dan Fe dengan konsentrasi berturut-turut adalah (6,74 - 11,69 ) %; (0,74 - 6,89 ) % dan (0,45 -1,94 )%; sedangkan untuk unsur-unsur minor terdiri dari unsur Ba, Ce, Zr dan La dengan konsentrasi berturut-turut adalah(451,4 – 1331,6 ) mg/kg; (201,8 – 427,3) mg/kg; (192,3 – 338,5) mg/kg dan (171,7 – 298,4) mg/kg. Hasil uji statistikmenunjukkan bahwa lokasi sampling terpengaruh nyata terhadap konsentrasi untuk semua unsur, pada pengujiandengan taraf kepercayaan 9

    PENAFSIRAN NILAI KETIDAKPASTIAN ANALISIS Fe, Ca, Zr, Ba, La, Ti DAN Ce DALAM CUPLIKAN SEDIMENDENGAN METODA XRF. Telah dilakukan pengujian ketidakpastian untuk analisis Fe, Ca, Zr, Ba, La, Ti dan Cedalam cuplikan sedimen sungai Pancuran Wonosari. Nilai suatu hasil pengujian tidak akan bermakna tanpa disertaidengan perhitungan nilai ketidakpastian. Sebagai contoh telah disajikan perhitungan ketidakpastian analisis logamBa dalam makalah ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memenuhi persyaratan akreditasi alat X-Ray Fluorescence(XRF) di laboratorium kimia analitik PTAPB – BATAN sesuai standar ISO/IEC 17025-2005. Hasil penafsiranketidakpastian pengukuran pada analisis logam Fe, Zr, Ba, La, Ce, Ti dan Ca menunjukkan bahwa, komponenketidakpastian berasal dari: tahapan preparasi sampel dan standar/pembanding, kemurnian bahan, statistikpencacahan sampel dan standar, serta kedapatulangan. Hasil analisis kuantitatif diketahui bahwa logam yangterkandung dalam sedimen sungai Pancuran di Wonosari adalah Fe = 7,290 %, Zr = 54,5 mg/kg, Ba = 1661,6 mg/kg,La = 22,9 mg/kg, Ce = 161,0 mg/kg, Ti = 3193,2 dan Ca = 7,816 %, sedangkan penafsiran ketidakpastian logam Fe,Zr, Ba, La, Ce, Ti dan Ca berturut-turut adalah ± 0,60 %, ± 4,5 mg/kg, ± 55 mg/kg, ± 1,4 mg/kg, 12,0 mg/kg, ± 208mg/kg dan ± 0,61 %

    IDENTIFIKASI TENORM DALAM NATRIUM ZIRKONAT (Na2ZrO3) HASIL PROSES PELINDIAN AIR. Makalahini melaporkan hasil-hasil pengukuran metoda spektrometri gamma dari konsentrasi radionuklida Th-228, Ra-226 dan K-40 serta dengan metoda AAN untuk pengukuran konsentrasi U-238 dan Th-232 dalam contohnatrium zirkonat (Na2ZrO3). Natrium zirkonat merupakan bahan hasil proses pelindian air, mengandung uraniumdan torium, sehingga memiliki potensi kontaminasi dan menaikkan paparan radiasi yang cukup besar. Tiaptahapan proses akan menghasilkan produk yang di dalamnya kemungkinan terdapat TENORM. Instrumen yangdigunakan adalah alat cacah g maestro II EG&G spektrometer γ Ortec dengan detektor Ge(Li). Teknik untukmenentukan konsentrasi radionuklida Th-228 ditentukan melalui anak luruhnya yaitu Pb-212 yang mempunyaienergi 238,6 keV, dan radionuklida Pb-210, Ra-226, K-40 langsung ditentukan dari energi masing-masing 46,5;186,2; 1460,75 keV. U-238 diidentifikasi melalui energi puncak 228,2 keV dari Np-239 dan Th melalui energipuncak 311,8 dari Pa-233. Konsentrasi radionuklida yang tertinggi dalam natrium zirkonat pada berbagai ukuranbutir adalah Ra-226 = 3664,4±95,9 Bq/kg dan radionuklida yang terendah adalah K-40 = 82,37±13,0 Bq/kg. Darimetoda analisis varians model desain acak sempurna untuk pengujian statistik, ditunjukkan bahwa terdapat tidakbeda secara nyata pengaruh ukuran butir umpan (hasil leburan pasir Zr) terhadap konsentrasi radionuklida Pb-210,Ra-226, Th-228 dan K-40, pada pengujian dengan taraf kepercayaan 95 %
