Keanekaragaman Tumbuhan Vegetasi Hutan Mangrove Di Tumbu-tumbu, Lampeapi Dan Wungkolo, Pulau Wawonii, Sulawesi Tenggara [Plant Diversity of Mangrove Forest Vegetation in Tumbu-tumbu, Lampeapi and Wungkolo, Wawonii Island, South East Sulawesi]

Fifty four species belong to 32 families and 46 genera were recorded in mangrove areas of Tumbu-tumbu, Lampeapi and Wungkolo(Wawonii Island, South East Sulawesi). Twenty four of them included in the IUCN (Anonim, 1997) list. The richest species diversity found in Lampeapi (48 species) followed by Tumbu-tumbu (39 spesies) and Wungkolo (29 species).The dominant species of those areas were Rhizophora apiculata, R. mucronata and Bruguiera gymnorrhiza.The total average density of three was 268–742 individu/ha, with basal area 16.14–28.99 m 2/ha, sapling plant was 66–317 indv./ha will basal area 0.38–0.92 m /ha and seedling plant was 88,13 –146,66 individu/ ha

Karakteristik Dinamik Kolom Baja Yang Diisi Pasir, Kerikil Atau Serbuk Gergaji Besi

Steel column with circular cross section is frequently used in both civil and machine construction. Many of girders of ballyhoo, traffic sign pillars etc. are made from the type of this column, because of good availability and low price. The machine tool construction e.g. a drilling machine actually should be built with box type column not a circular one. However, in order to be able to rotate the machine arm and or the table, the machine column must be made of a circular type. Whereas a circular type column has both static and dynamic either bending or torsional stiffness lower than the box type for the same weight. The research is aimed to increase the dynamic stiffness of circular type column by using granular material as a vibration damper. The granular material like sand, gravel and iron sawdust is investigated. The result shows that the more volume of the granular material to be filled in column, the higher both the damping ratio and the dynamic stiffness. Consequently the best result is achieved by fully filled condition. The damping ratio rises up from 1 % for the an empty column to 10.6 % or up to 10.6 times higher for fully filled with iron sawdust and to 8.6 % or up to 8.6 times higher for fully filled with sand. The dynamic stiffness increase from 4.427E+5 N/m for an empty column to 5.285E+6 N/m or up to 11.94 times higher for fully filled with iron sawdust and to 2.192E+6 N/m or up to 4.95 times higher for fully filled with sand. This is of course a fantastic successfulness for a simple treatment

Uji Daya Antelmintik Infusa Biji Waluh (Cucurbita Moschata Durch) Terhadap Cacing Ascaridia Galli Secara in Vitro

Wormy represent one of factor which can degrade human resource quality, considering wormy will persue physical growth and also work productivity. Research which is taken is experimental research as a mean to know energy of antelmintik infusa of pumpkin seed toward worm Ascaridia galli by in vitro and also its active compound content. Substance intake by random and then sampling is made in infusa supply with a few concentration series that is hereinafter tested by its activity as antelmintik to worm Ascaridia galli with immersion method. The data observed is time of worm death and sum up the dead worm every one clock. Statistic analysis which is used is Kruskal-Wallis continued by Mann-Whithney and also Anova and continued by Tukey. Result of research indicate that mean of time of worm death of Ascaridia galli after soaked in infusa of pumpkin seed in concentration 2,5%b/v, 5,0%b/v, 7,5%b/v, 10,0%b/v and successively is 9,46; 8,63; 6,08; and 5,83 clock. While after soaked in piperazin sitrat of concentration 0,4%b/v and NaCl 0,9%b/v mean of time of worm death is 8,96 and 32,37 hours. All series of concentration of infusa of pumpkin seed in this research own difference that has a meaning negative control of Nacl 0,9%b/v, so that infusa of pumpkin seed equal to 7,43%b/v while value of LC50 after soaked in piperzin sitrat 0,73%b/v.
