    Penggunaan Pupuk NP Cair dan NPK (15-15-15) untuk Meningkatkan Hasil dan Kualitas Buah Tomat Varietas Oval

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pupuk NP cair, dan dosis pupuk NPK (15-15-15) terhadap hasil dan mutubuah tomat varietas oval, pada lahan petani di Kabupaten Garut dengan ketinggian 650 m dpl. Rancangan yangdigunakan ialah petak terpisah dengan ulangan tiga kali. Sebagai petak utama adalah konsentrasi pupuk NP cair,kontrol 2,5 ml/l, dan 5,0 ml/l. Sub plot adalah dosis pupuk NPK (15-15-15), 200, 400, 600, 800, dan 1.000 kg/ha. Hasilmenunjukkan adanya efek interaksi antara NP cair dan pupuk majemuk NPK (15-15-15) pada to tal bobot buah, tinggitanaman, dan kekerasan buah waktu panen. Penggunaan pupuk NP cair 2,5 ml/l yang dikombinasikan dengan NPK(15-15-15) 1.000 kg/ha nyata menaikkan bobot buah dan adanya kecenderungan bahwa penggunaan NP cair yangtinggi diikuti pula penggunaan pupuk majemuk NPK (15-15-15) yang tinggi pula.     Respons Tanaman Tomat terhadap Penggunaan Pupuk Majemuk NPK 15-15-15 pada Tanah Latosol pada Musim Kemarau

    . Percobaan bertujuan mendapatkan dosis pupuk majemuk NPK 15-15-15 yang optimal untuk pertumbuhandan hasil, serapan N, P, dan K pada tanaman tomat. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanah Latosol milik petani di DesaSukaresik (700 m dpl), Kabupaten Sumedang, Jawa Barat pada bulan Mei sampai November 2005. Perlakuan pupukmajemuk NPK 15-15-15 dosis 0, 250, 500, 750, 1.000, dan 1.250 kg/ha disusun dalam rancangan acak kelompokdengan 3 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk majemuk NPK 15-15-15 dosis 1.000 kg/hamemberi pengaruh terbaik terhadap tinggi tanaman, serapan N, P, dan K, bobot basah dan kering tanaman serta hasilbuah tomat. Kebutuhan pupuk untuk tanaman tomat pada tanah Latosol di Sumedang adalah 213,07 kg N/ha, 28,51kg P/ha, dan 35,69 kg K2O/ha

    Pengaruh Tumpangsari Tomat Dan Kubis Terhadap Perkembangan Hama Dan Hasil

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil to tal tomat, kubis, serangan OPT, dan nilai kesetaraanlahan (NKL) dalam sistem tumpangsari tomat dan kubis. Tumpangsari yang dicoba adalah tomat monokultur, kubismonokultur, tumpangsari tomat + kubis, tumpangsari tomat + kubis + kubis + tomat, dan tumpangsari tomat + tomat +kubis + tomat + tomat. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah acak kelompok dan ulangan lima kali. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa tumpangsari antara tomat + tomat + kubis + tomat + tomat merupakan kombinasiterbaik dan dapat menekan populasi hama Plutella xylostella sebesar 97% dan Crocilodomia binotalis sebesar 76,2%.Secara kuantitatif produksi tomat maupun kubis yang ditanam sistem ganda (intercropping) lebih tinggi daripadaditanam secara tunggal. Sistem penanaman tomat dan kubis secara tumpangsari memberikan keuntungan karena nilaidari NKL > 1, keuntungan tertinggi diperoleh dari sistem tumpangsari tomat + kubis + kubis + tomat sebesar Rp44.420.000,-/ha.Ef fect of intercropping be tween to mato and cab -bage to pests de vel op ment and yield.     Peningkatan Efisiensi Pemupukan NPK dengan Memanfaatkan Bahan Organik terhadap Hasil Tomat

    Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Cisurupan Kabupaten Garut, Jawa Barat pada tipe tanah andosol (1.100 m dpl.) pada bulan Juni-Nopember 2002. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh pupuk organik dan dosis NPK baik terhadap pertumbuhan maupun hasil tanaman tomat. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok faktorial dengan ulangan empat kali. Perlakuan terdiri dari dua faktor. Faktor pertama jenis pupuk NPK dan faktor kedua jenis bahan organik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara jenis pupuk NPK dan pupuk organik. Penambahan pupuk NPK (50 kg N, 75 kg P2O5, dan 75 kg K2O per hektar) dapat meningkatkan tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, dan bobot buah total per petak. Jenis pupuk NPK yang paling efisien terhadap hasil buah tanaman tomat varietas artaloka adalah 50 kg N, 75 kg P2O5, dan 75 kg K2O per hektar. Increasing NPK fertilizer efficiency through organic material utilization on yield of tomato. The experiment was conducted at Cisurupan Village, Garut, West Java on andosol soil type (1,100 m asl) from June to November 2002. The objective of the experiment were to study the influence of organic fertilizer and kind of NPK application on the growth and yield of tomato. Factorial formula of randomized block design with four replicates was used. Treatments consisted of first factor of NPK fertilizer and second factor was kinds of manure. In fact the results indicated that there was no interaction effect between application of organic fertilizers and NPK fertilizer on both of the growth and yield of tomato. The NPK (50 kg N, 75 kg P2O5, and 75 kg K2O) fertilizer was able to increase plant height, stem diameter, and total fruit weight per plot.     Identifikasi Potensi Dan Kendala Produksi Paprika Di Rumah Plastik

    . Adiyoga, W., N. Gunadi, T. K. Moekasan, and Subhan. 2007. Identification of Potential and Constraint of Sweet Pepper Cultivation in Plastichouse. An exploratory survey was carried out in August to October 2003 in sweet pepper production center, Lembang, Bandung, West Java, to obtain general situation of vegetable production technology, especially sweet pepper, in plastichouse, and to identify potentials and constraints of existing cultural practices. There were 17 interviewed farmers that were selected purposively. The results showed that sweet pepper is the most important vegetable cultivated in plastichouse, followed by tomato, cherry tomato, and cucumber. Farmers usually mix 4–14 l of nutrient with 1000 l of water, apply with the dosage of 750–2000 ml/plant/day, as many as 3-5 times/day. The most important pest is thrips, followed by some diseases, such as fusarium wilt, and downy mildew. Estimated production cost per plant is between Rp. 7.000 to Rp. 10.000. The biggest expense is for nutrients, followed by labor, pesticide, seed, and media, subsequently. Outlets mostly used by respondents are assembly markets/traders, private companies, and cooperatives. Maximum price of sweet pepper usually occurs between January and May, while the minimum price frequently occurs between June and August. Efficiency indicators indicate that the R/C\u27s for tomato, sweet pepper, cherry tomato, and cucumber are positive (profitable). Main constraints of vegetable production in plastichouse based on their rank of importance, as perceived by farmers are pest and disease incidence, quality of plastichouse construction, capital availability, labor availability, nutrient availability, pesticide availability, water/irrigation availability, media availability, price fluctuation, and technical information availability. Potentials for further development as reflected by domestic and export market opportunities, are still promising. However, further development should be pursued cautiously, since there is a high dependence on main inputs that are still imported, such as seeds and UV-plastic

    Recommendation systems are a very common now days and it is used in a variety of applications. A recommender system that is designed to reduce the human effort of performing domain analysis. Domain analysis is the task in which we can find the commonality and difference between the different software’s of same domain ‘feature recommendation is very useful now a days. This approach relies on data mining techniques to discover common features across products as well as the relationship among these common features. In this paper we used different techniques which are used for domain analysis and feature recommendation. This approach mines descriptions of product from publicly available online product descriptions, uses a text mining and a novel incremental diffusive clustering algorithm to discover features in specific domain , uses association rule mining to know latent relationships between the features within the products of same domain and uses KNN algorithm which generates a probabilistic feature model that represents commonalities, variant.     Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Paprika yang Ditanam pada Dua Tipe Konstruksi Rumah Plastik dan Dua Jenis Media Tanam

Percobaan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman paprika yang ditanam pada 2 tipe konstruksi rumah plastik dan 2 jenis media tanam, dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Balai Penelitian Tanaman Sayuran, Lembang (1.250 m dpl.), Jawa Barat dari bulan Mei 2004 sampai Februari 2005. Tanaman paprika ditanam pada 2 tipe konstruksi rumah plastik, yaitu (1) rumah plastik bambu dan (2) rumah plastik tipe kayu-metal. Jarak tanam yang digunakan pada masing-masing rumah plastik adalah 1,20x0,50 m. Dua jenis media tanam yaitu perlite dan arang sekam juga diteliti sebagai faktor perlakuan. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah acak kelompok dan masing-masing kombinasi perlakuan diulang 6 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tipe konstruksi rumah plastik berpengaruh terhadap intensitas cahaya matahari yang dapat diintersepsi di rumah plastik dan rumah plastik tipe kayu-metal dapat mengintersepsi cahaya matahari 12,6% lebih tinggi daripada rumah plastik bambu. Bobot dan jumlah buah per tanaman dari tanaman paprika yang ditanam di rumah plastik tipe kayu-metal lebih tinggi daripada tanaman paprika yang ditanam di rumah plastik bambu. Tanaman paprika yang ditanam di media tanam arang sekam memberikan bobot dan jumlah buah per tanaman paprika lebih tinggi daripada media tanam perlite. Untuk mengatasi temperatur terlalu tinggi di rumah plastik tipe kayu-metal dapat dilakukan dengan membuat ventilasi di atap dan dengan cara menambah populasi tanaman
