A Draft Test Protocol for Detecting Possible Biohazards in Martian Samples Returned to Earth

This document presents the first complete draft of a protocol for detecting possible biohazards in Mars samples returned to Earth; it is the final product of the Mars Sample Handling Protocol Workshop Series, convened in 2000-2001 by NASA's Planetary Protection Officer.
