This research did for describing the metacognition skills of students for solving the proportion problem. The research  subjects are 36 of the students in VII grade at SMPN 1 Sungai Raya who are grouped into upper, medium, and lower level skill. This research method using the descriptive and qualitative method. The research instrument is test in the form of essay and deeper interview. Base on the result the  found that the students in upper skill level can comprehend all skill aspect of metacognition in problem solving. While the students in the medium skill level, only completed the aspects of planning and monitoring. The subject at lower skill level just understand monitoring aspect. The students with upper and medium skills level can apply the Polya steps eventhough there is lack of scrutiny when answering the question. Where as students at lower level skill are not been able to do the Polya steps. Keywords: Metacognition, Metacognition Skills, Problem Solving

Production risk and price risk are problems that are often faced by coconut farmers. This is illustrated by the price and production instability faced by farmers, which will then have an impact on income and decision making in production and work allocation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of changes in the level of production risk and price on the behavior of farmer households in coconut farming production decisions. This research was conducted in Seruyan Regency, Central Kalimantan Province with a total of 200 farmers as respondents. The production function and the risk function were analyzed using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method, while the farmer household economic model which was built using the simultaneous equation would be analyzed using the Two Stage Least Squares (2SLS) method. The results of the risk function analysis show that the risk of coconut production is directly proportional to the use of salt and herbicides. Land area, use of salt, herbicides and labor have a significant and positive effect on coconut production. The simulation results show an increased risk of negative impacts on the economy of coconut farmers' households. Keywords: production risk, price risk, household economy, coconut farmer

The samples were college students of XYZ Academy from thirde and fifth semester and the amounts were 300 college students. The data collection used personally administered questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive analysis, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). The result showed that image of academy had the highest relation with student loyalty; influence of image on loyalty had twice effect compared to student satisfaction. Service quality of academic staff only had an influence on student satisfaction; variable representing the main facilities only had an influence on image of academy, while service quality of laboratory staff influenced both image of academy and student satisfaction. This study aimed to determine the technical and resource-use efficiency of East Java. The secondary data were used from the Paddy Cultivation Household Survey ST2013 handled by BPS-Statistics Indonesia. The data was cross-sectional and were derived from ST2013 in 2014. The stochastic frontier analysis analyzed the factors that drive rice output and quantified rice production's technical efficiency. In contrast, the marginal value product-marginal factor cost (MVP-MFC) approach was used to quantify resource-use efficiency in rice production. The SFA indicated that these factors positively affect rice output except for seed, fertilizer, labor, and land utilization. However, other factors were considered apart from the land size, such as exaggerated land and labor advantage in production and bad seed and fertilizer utilization. Technical efficiency varies considerably among rice farmers, ranging from 1 percent to 100 percent, with an average of 89 percent. Their technical inefficiency was influenced by their group membership, irrigation, credit, education level, and farmer age - external farm insect pests. The government and the private sector are involved in the programs through farmer groups. However, it is not widely used by oil palm farmers. Oil palm integration with cattle is expected to meet the demand for oil palm organic fertilizer and utilize palm fronds as animal feed. The objective of this research is to analyse the factors that influence farmers’ decisions to implementing oil palm-cattle integration. A survey was conducted with 300 respondent who were chosen with purposive sampling with two categories: integrated farming and non-integrated farming. The logistic model was used to analyze adoption factors. The result shows that factors influencing the decision of farmers to adopt oil palm-cattle integration are the time of involvement of household head in farming, extension services, income from oil palm, and the household’s dependent ratio. Meanwhile, the factors that do not encourage farmers to adopt oil palm-cattle integration are formal education and involvement in farmer groups.
