Encapsulation: A Revealing Look at a Simple Solution

    No full text
Encapsulation is a simple and cost effective way to protect works on paper from wear and tear due to handling. It can also help keep fragile pieces together and make family documents accessible. This workshop will teach participants how to encapsulate their own paper objects safely. Proper materials, environment and handling methods will be discussed. The end result will be a sample set of various encapsulation techniques for future reference. A materials list will be provided upon registration. ICA\u27s address is 2915 Detroit Ave., but our entrance is in the rear of the building off Church St. ICA\u27s blue doors are located across from the Transformer Station gallery, and can be accessed using the call box to the right of the doors
