    Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Stad untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas Viia SMP An-namiroh Pekanbaru

    This research aims to improve the learning process and increase the student's mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation Cooperative Learning of STAD. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research with two cycle. The research was conducted in class VIIA SMP An-Namiroh Pekanbaru in the odd semester of the 2016/2017 academic year with the subject of as many as 29 students, consist of 14 boys and 15 girls. The research instrument consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used in this research is the Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Worksheet. The instrument data collector used in this research is the observation sheet and math achievement test. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the result of the research showed that implementation of learning process on cycle II had happened improvement from implementation on cycle I. Weakness on cycle I is improved on implementation cycle II according with planning of improvement after reflection cycle I. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to daily test II. The number of students who reach Minimum Mastery Criteria on basic scor, daily test I and daily test II are respectively 14 person (48%), 16 person (55%) and 20 person (69%). Results of this research indicates that application of Cooperative Learning of STAD can improve learning process and increase mathematics learning outcomes from the students at class VIIA SMP An-Namiroh Pekanbaru in the odd semester academic years 2016/2017 at Basic Competencies 2.1 Knowing the algebra and it's elements, and 2.2 Doing algebra operation

    This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and increase the mathematic learning outcomes by implying Problem Based Learning model. The subject of this research is the student of VIII2 SMP Negeri 36 Pekanbaru on odd semester of 2015/2016. There are 38 students in the class, consist of 20 boys and 18 girls who have heterogeneous academic ability. This research have two cycles, each have four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Each cycles ended by daily examination. The data of teacher and student's activities collected by observation and analised by narrative descriptive. The data of student's mathematic learning outcomes collected by examination and analised by descriptive statistics. The implementation called success if there's positive improvement of the learning process and the number of students who reach minimum completeness criteria increase after the implementation. The result shows that the implementation of the learning process at the second cycle have been improve from the implementation at the first cycle. The weakness at the first cycle has been improved by implementation at the second cycle according to improvement plan after reflection at the first cycle. More than half students actively participated in the learning process, as in group discussion, presented their works, responded to other group, and sum up the learning conclusion. The number of students who reach minimum completeness criteria increase from 36.84% at the base score to 55.26% at the first cycle and 71.05% at the second cycle. Therefore, it can be said that there is an improvement of learning process and mathematic learning outcomes after the implementation. This research conclude that implying Problem Based Learning model can improve learning process and increase mathematic learning outcomes for students of VIII2 SMP Negeri 36 Pekanbaru on odd semester of 2015/2016

    The background of this research is mathematics learning outcomes to low. This research aims to improve the learning process and improve the student's mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of Cooperative Learning with Think Pair Square Approach. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research with two cycle. The research was conducted in class VIII.7 SMPN 20 Pekanbaru in the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year with the subject of as many as 40 students. The research instrument consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used in this research is the Syllabus, RPP and LKS. The instrument data collector used in this research is the observation sheet and math achievement test. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis of quantitative data. Based on the data analysis, the percentage of students who achieve KKM on base score is 17 students with a percentage of 42.5% and increased in Kuis I of 21 students with a percentage 52.5% and also an increase in Kuis II at 26 students with a percentage 65%. So, result of the research showed that, the learning process has improved and the student's mathematics learning outcomes in class VIII.7 SMPN 20 Pekanbaru also increased after applying the Cooperative Learning with Think Pair Square Approach. Cooperative Learning with Think Pair Square Approach can be used as an alternative in learning, because it can improve the learning process and improve the student mathematics learning outcomes

    Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Matematika SMP Kurikulum 2013 pada Materi Statistika dan Peluang dengan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah

    This research aimed to develop mathematics learning device for junior high school that are Syllabus, Lesson Plan (LP) and Students Worksheet (SW) curriculum 2013 on subject statistics and probability by used problem based learning model. This research use development model by Borg and Gall modified by Sugiyono (2008). Development is done through the following steps: (1) potentials and problems; (2) data collection; (3) design products: (4) validation; (5) revision of design; (6) small group trial; (7) revision of product; (8) large group trial; and (9) revision. At the stage of potentials and problems, the researchers conducted potentials and problems analysis. Then, researcher collect the necessary materials to design learning device. Learning device that had been developed then validated by three validators and revised based on the input from validators. The valid learning device then tested in the small group trial with subjects are eight students of class VII SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru and revised based on input from the students. Then, tested in the large group trial with subjects are 39 students of class VII SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru and revised based on input from the students. Based on the data analysis and discussion can be concluded that the mathematics learning device for junior high school curriculum 2013 on subject statistics and probability by using problem based learning model are valid with value for the Syllabus is 3.39, value for the LP-1 is 3.42, value for the LP-2 is 3.41, value for the LP-3 is 3.41, value for the LP-4 is 3.40, value for the LP-5 is 3.40, value for the SW-1 is 3.38, value for the SW-2 is 3.32, value for the SW-3 is 3.32, value for the SW-4 is 3.32, value for SW-5 is 3.32, and is practical to use by students of junior high school

    Penerapan Model Discovery Learning untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Peserta Didik Kelas X Mia 5 Man 2 Model Pekanbaru

    This research is classroom action research which aims to improve the learning process and the result of learning mathematics by applying Discovery Learning (DL) model. The subject of this research were the second semester students of class X MIA 5 MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru academic year 2016/2017 consisting of 13 male and 17 female students. Instruments on this reserach constisted of syllabus, lesson plans and worksheets; and instruments of data collection which is observation sheets and the test result sheets. The function of observation sheet is to obtain data from the learning process and analyzed in a narrative descriptive, while the function of results sheet of the mathematics learning tests is to obtain the results of the study and analyzed in statistics descriptive. From narrative descriptive analysis can be seen that there was improvement of learning process from before action in cycle I to cycle II. From statistic deskriptive analysis can be seen an increase in the number of students who reach the minimum criteria of mastery learning. The learning result of the student experience an increase from the basic score the Cycle I and Cycle II. On the knowledge competence, from the basic score with percentage 36,67% experience improvement in Cycle I with percentage 50% and 70% in Cycle II. On the skills competence, the number of students who reach the minimum criteria of mastery learning from Cycle I with percentage 23.33% improve to 50% in cycle II. Based on the results of this research can be concluded that the application of the Discovery Learning (DL) model can improve the learning achievement of the second semester students of class X MIA 5 MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru academic year 2016/2017

    This study aims to fixed the learning process and improve the mathematical problem solving ability through implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This type of research is the classroom action research with two cycles. Research conducted in the junior high school class VIII1 Bhayangkari Pekanbaru in the first semester of the school year 2016/2017, with the subject of 20 learners. The research instrument consists of learning tools and instruments to collect data. Learning device used in this study is the syllabus, lesson plans and activity sheet. Data collection instruments used in the study was the observation sheet and mathematical problem solving test. Data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis descriptive narrative and descriptive statistical analysis of quantitative data. Based on this research, the learning process has improved and mathematical problem solving ability of the learners increased after applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Problem Based Learning model can be used as an alternative to learning, because through this learning can improve the learning process and improve mathematical problem solving ability of the learners
