Non-Perturbative Green's Functions in Theories with Extended Superconformal Symmetry
The multiplets that occur in four dimensional rigidly supersymmetric theories
can be described either by chiral superfields in Minkowski superspace or
analytic superfields in harmonic superspace. The superconformal Ward identities
for Green's functions of gauge invariant operators of these types are derived.
It is shown that there are no chiral superconformal invariants. It is further
shown that the Green's functions of analytic operators are severely restricted
by the superconformal Ward when analyticity is taken into account.Comment: 17 pages, plain tex. Some conjectures that were in the original paper
are clarifed in the light of more recent work to which we give references.

Anomaly candidates and invariants of D=4, N=1 supergravity theories
All anomaly candidates and the form of the most general invariant local
action are given for old and new minimal supergravity, including the cases
where additional Yang--Mills and chiral matter multiplets are present.
Furthermore nonminimal supergravity is discussed. In this case local
supersymmetry itself may be anomalous and some of the corresponding anomaly
candidates are given explicitly. The results are obtained by solving the
descent equations which contain the consistency equation satisfied by
integrands of anomalies and invariant actions.Comment: 19 pages, LaTex, NIKHEF-H 93-12, ITP-UH 07/9
Generalized Gluon Currents and Applications in QCD
We consider the process containing two quark lines and an arbitrary number of
gluons in a spinor helicity framework. A current with two off-shell gluons
appears in the amplitude. We first study this modified gluon current using
recursion relations. The recursion relation for the modified gluon current is
solved for the case of like-helicity gluons. We apply the modified gluon
current to compute the amplitude for in the like-helicity gluon case.Comment: 80 pages, 2 figures (appended in pictex), CLNS 91/112
An overview of new supersymmetric gauge theories with 2-form gauge potentials
An overview of new 4d supersymmetric gauge theories with 2-form gauge
potentials constructed by various authors during the past five years is given.
The key role of three particular types of interaction vertices is emphasized.
These vertices are used to develop a connecting perspective on the new models
and to distinguish between them. One example is presented in detail to
illustrate characteristic features of the models. A new result on couplings of
2-form gauge potentials to Chern-Simons forms is presented.Comment: 11 pages; to appear in the proceedings of NATO ARW "Noncommutative

Minimal Off-Shell Version of N = 1 Chiral Supergravity
We construct the minimal off-shell formulation of N = 1 chiral supergravity
(SUGRA) introducing a complex antisymmetric tensor field and a
complex axial-vector field as auxiliary fields. The resulting algebra
of the right- and left-handed supersymmetry (SUSY) transformations closes off
shell and generates chiral gauge transforamtions and vector gauge
transformations in addition to the transformations which appear in the case
without auxiliary fields.Comment: 9 pages, late
Supersymmetric Brane World Scenarios from Off-Shell Supergravity
Using N=2 off-shell supergravity in five dimensions, we supersymmetrize the
brane world scenario of Randall and Sundrum. We extend their construction to
include supersymmetric matter at the fixpoints.Comment: 15 pages, no figures, late
Yang-Mills gravity in biconformal space
We write a gravity theory with Yang-Mills type action using the biconformal
gauging of the conformal group. We show that the resulting biconformal
Yang-Mills gravity theories describe 4-dim, scale-invariant general relativity
in the case of slowly changing fields. In addition, we systematically extend
arbitrary 4-dim Yang-Mills theories to biconformal space, providing a new arena
for studying flat space Yang-Mills theories. By applying the biconformal
extension to a 4-dim pure Yang-Mills theory with conformal symmetry, we
establish a 1-1, onto mapping between a set of gravitational gauge theories and
4-dim, flat space gauge theories.Comment: 27 pages; paper emphasis shifted to focus on gravity; references

Multiphoton Production at High Energies in the Standard Model I
We examine multiphoton production in the electroweak sector of the Standard
Model in the high energy limit using the equivalence theorem in combination
with spinor helicity techniques. We obtain recursion relations for currents
consisting of a charged scalar, spinor, or vector line that radiates
photons. Closed form solutions to these recursion relations for arbitrary
are presented for the cases of like-helicity and one unlike-helicity photon
production. We apply the currents singly and in pairs to obtain amplitudes for
processes involving the production of photons with up to two unlike
helicities from a pair of charged particles. The replacement of one or more
photons by transversely polarized Z$-bosons is also discussed.Comment: 75 pages, CLNS 91/111
Field Representations of Vector Supersymmetry
We study some field representations of vector supersymmetry with superspin
Y=0 and Y=1/2 and nonvanishing central charges. For Y=0, we present two
multiplets composed of four spinor fields, two even and two odd, and we provide
a free action for them. The main differences between these two multiplets are
the way the central charge operators act and the compatibility with the
Majorana reality condition on the spinors. One of the two is related to a
previously studied spinning particle model. For Y=1/2, we present a multiplet
composed of one even scalar, one odd vector and one even selfdual two-form,
which is a truncation of a known representation of the tensor supersymmetry
algebra in Euclidean spacetime. We discuss its rotation to Minkowski spacetime
and provide a set of dynamical equations for it, which are however not derived
from a Lagrangian. We develop a superspace formalism for vector supersymmetry
with central charges and we derive our multiplets by superspace techniques.
Finally, we discuss some representations with vanishing central charges.Comment: 37 page
The N=2(4) string is self-dual N=4 Yang-Mills
N=2 string amplitudes, when required to have the Lorentz covariance of the
equivalent N=4 string, describe a self-dual form of N=4 super Yang-Mills in 2+2
dimensions. Spin-independent couplings and the ghost nature of SO(2,2)
spacetime make it a topological-like theory with vanishing loop corrections.Comment: 7 pg., ITP-SB-92-24 (uuencoded dvi file; otherwise same as original
