Dampak Perkembangan Pariwisata terhadap Lingkungan Taman Nasional Karimunjawa
Karimunjawa be used as a center of tourism, especially maritime tourism is now growing rapidly. The development of tourism in line with the increasing population and the rapid growth of tourism development activities in coastal areas, for a variety of allocation (residential, fishing, ports, tourism and others). Then pressure of ecological on the ecosystems and marine resources is increasing. Increased pressure is certainly going to be able threaten the existence and survival of ecosystems and coastal resources, marine and small islands are nearby. Based on the problems, can be raises a research question of "How can positive and negative impacts of tourism development for the environment Karimunjawa National Park?". The purpose of this study is to look at positive and negative impacts from tourism development for the environment on land and sea waters of Karimunjawa National Park. The methods used is a mixed quantitative and qualitative methods (Mixed-Method) with the Concurrent Model. The research approach positivistic approach and deductive thought pattern.Quantitative data collection using random sampling by distributing questionnaires with tourist respondents, while the qualitative data collection using purposive sampling to individuals who are chosen. The analysis in this study used a descriptive spatial analysis of the National Parks and Tourism Karimunjawa. The final results of this study is a positive and negative impacts of tourism development for the environment Karimunjawa National Park
The Ecology Character of Banda Aceh City in the 17th Century
Bandar Aceh Darussalam as tamaddun city in the tip of Sumatera Island and capital city of 17th century Islamic Aceh Sultanate, was a strategic coastal city. It had sloping beach and bays and was surrounded by mountains with rivers flowing through the city. Its wetlands-based urban development was reflected in the design of urban space structure and key elements of the city. It becomes inspiration for developing modern ecological city since 17th century Islamic cities in archipelago of the East is rarely studied. This research aimed to study the spatial concept of Bandar Aceh Darussalam. Data was collected by using the method of tracking physical information through ancient maps and field observation of the environment characteristic. It was found that the ecological character of the city seemed to be affected by the existence of integrated natural features, function and the role of the city that included Islamic concepts. The main elements of the city reflected the character of civilization in three aspects: the drainage system i.e. cut and fill, the scattered and wide empty space, and natural defense system. The concept of harmony between urban development and city\u27s ecological character was shown in the design of urban landscape
Karakteristik Migran Sirkuler dan Aspeknya terhadap Kebutuhan Bermukim di Kawasan Pasar Johar, Semarang
Economic development city affected by the developments in Semarang City with some areas of origin, one of which the trade and services Pasar Johar. Workers who are in the area is the circular migrants. Without the intervention of the government to make their living space to make the slum. In fact, they play a role as a driver of economic turnaround actor regions, cities , and regions of origin. How do the characteristics of circular migrants and aspects of the needs of living in Johar Market area in Semarang City? Positivistic paradigm used in this study. Quantitative descriptive analysis techniques are used to present the results of the questionnaire, and then more deeply through qualitative descriptive analysis. This research is based on primary survey of the characteristics of migrants to see sikuler and its aspects through worker of circular migrant characteristic, settlement, and activities of both the formal and informal sectors that affect the needs of settlement. An association for the export of special production from region, the origin area far from Semarang City so desperately need a place to stay, which are located close to their work places in the city center. 6m2 minimum space requirement needs to be maintained. Boro enough to lodge facilities together are a place to rest, bathroom and toilet washing, drying clothes, warehouse for merchandise, television room, maintained stalls, as well as rental prices are kept low with the daily system. Their work does not affect the residence requirement, because they are equally informal workers in both the formal and informal sectors. If the requirements can be met where they live, it can be controlled with either the number of permanent migrants in the city of Semarang and its long-term impact. Therefore given the recommendation, a place for living must be maintained for as cheap as possible in order to remain affordable and the use of space in the cabin that is optimized for their resting place, and extensive government subsidies to maintain the cottage boro even for better circumstances
