Laras Concept and Its Triggers: a Case Study on Garap of Jineman Uler Kambang

Laras is one unresolved aesthetic concept and gendhing garap models as the triggers have not been identified yet either. This paper is a case study which discusses a case of jineman garap Uler Kambang pélog lima, the first winner of Sindhèn Idol contest 2012, which is considered to have the most qualified performance to meet laras criteria. The purpose of this research is to figure out the laras concept construction and identify the gendhing garap models as its triggers. Laras concept reconstruction within the aesthetic framework of Javanese karawitan and identification of gendhing garap model are discussed based on concept of garap in Javanese karawitan. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive method. The results show that laras is a beautiful, delicate, and deep karawitan sense containing elements of mat, lega, betah, adhem, ayem, tentrem, jinem, sengsem, and marem. Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Manajemen Kearsipan Berbasis Metode Demonstrasi untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Mahasiswa

The objectives of this research are as follows: (1) to produce the demonstration method-based Archival Management learning material; and (2) to investigate the effectiveness of the demonstration method-based Archival Management learning material to improve the students' learning achievement.This study used the demonstration-based research and development (R&D) method. The measure (syntax) used in this research was the one claimed by Sugiyono. The subjects for the field experimentation were the students as many as 38 of the Study Program of Office Administration, the Faculty of Economics, State University of Malang, Offering( Class) R of 2011, who were taking the course of Archival Management. The data of research were validated by three experts, namely: textbook expert, language expert, and learning material expert.The development of learning material for the demonstration method-based Archival Management uses the R&D model claimed by Sugiyono. Its characteristics are as follows: it uses chart images, pictures or photos which resemble archival articles/materials/devices/equipment so that the students are easy to study the learning materials on the main topic of discussion of Incoming and Outgoing Mail Handling, and Archival Systems of Mail Numbers and Dates. The result of questionnaire validations by the textbook, language, and learning material experts shows that the average percentage is 95%, meaning that in general the learning material of Archival Management is valid or can be used effectively. The students' pre-test score is 68.05. Following the application of the developed learning material, the average score becomes 80.63. This proves that the use of the demonstration method-based Archival Management learning material can effectively improve the students' learning result. In addition, the result of hypothesis testing i.e. zero hypothesis (Ho) which reads “The use of the demonstration method-based Archival Management learning material in the teaching and learning process is worse than or similar to the other learning methods in improving the students' learning result.” is rejected. This means that the demonstration method-based Archival Management learning material can effectively improve the students' learning result

Pengaruh Bauran Pemasaran terhadap Perilaku Anggota Koperasi dalam Memakai Produk Simpanan (Studi pada Koperasi Jasa Keuangan Syariah Baitul Maal Wa Tanwil Amanah Ummah Kartasura Sukoharjo)

The objective of this research are to knows: 1) a simultaneously effect of the marketing mix on the behaviors of the members in utilizing the product of savings. 2) the effect of product on the behaviors of the members in utilizing the product of savings, 3) the effect of place partially on the behaviors of the members in utilizing the product of savings, 4) the effect of price partially on the behaviors of the members in utilizing the product of savings, 5) the effect of promotion partially on the behaviors of the members in utilizing the product of savings, 6) the effect of people partially on the behaviors of the members in utilizing the product of savings, 7) the effect of process partially on the behaviors of the members in utilizing the product of savings, 8) the effect of physical evidence partially on the behaviors of the members in utilizing the product of savings. This research used the descriptive quantitative one with the survey method. The population of the research was the members of KSKS BMT Amanah Ummah of Kartasura utilizing its product of savings. The samples of the research consisted of 80 respondents, and they were taken by using the accindental sampling technique. The data of the research were gathered through questionnaire. They were then analyzed by using multiple regression analysis, f-test, and t-test. Before the data were analyzed, the classical assumption pre-requisite tests, namely: multicolinearity test, heteroskedasticity test, and normality test had been conducted. The result of the research are: 1) there is a simultaneously effect of the marketing mix on the behaviors of the members in utilizing the product of savings (63,525>2,71), 2) product partially have a effect on the behaviors of the members in utilizing the product of savings (2,590<2,00), 3) place partially do not have a significant effect on the behaviors of the members in utilizing the product of savings (1,848<2,00), 4) price partially has effect on the behaviors of the members in utilizing the product of savings ( 2,702 >2,00), 5) promotion is partially has effect on the behaviors of the members in utilizing the product of savings (3,204>2,00), 6) people partially has effect on the behaviors of the members in utilizing the product of savings (2,787>2,00), 7) process partially has effect on the behaviors of the members in utilizing the product of savings (2,227>2,00), 8) physical evidence partially has effect on the behaviors of the members in utilizing the product of savings (1,147<2,00)

Pengaruh Faktor Personal Pelaku USAha, Kemampuan Penyuluh, dan Proses Pembelajaran dalam Penyuluhan terhadap Kompetensi Kewirausahaan Industri Kecil Menengah Kabupaten Magelang

The purposes of this study are to determine : 1) the influence of entrepreneurs personal factor to learning process in counseling, 2) the influence of extension officers capability to learning process in counseling, 3) the influence of learning process in counseling to the entrepreneurship competence, 4) the influence of entrepreneurs personal factor to entrepreneurship competence and 5) the influence of the extension officers capability to entrepreneurship competence. This is descriptive quantitative study. The population of the sample was all small-scale entrepreneurs at Kab. Magelang who got counseling from the Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Department fiscal year 2013. 92 participants were randomly chosen. The instruments used in collecting data are questionnaire, interview and documentation. The data analysis was done through path analysis.The result of this study shows that 1) 19.1% entrepreneurs personal factor influenced the learning process of counseling directly, 2) 26.8% extension officers competence affected the learning process in counseling directly, 3) 5.88% learning process in counseling influenced the entrepreneurship competence directly, 4) 1.92% entrepreneurs personal factor affected the entrepreneurship competence indirectly, 5) 5.29% extension officers competence directly influenced the entrepreneurship competence

Blended Learning-Based Self-directed Learning on Classroom Action Research Training to Improve Teacher Competency Research

Although classroom action research (CAR) is considered useful for teacher development but this activity has not been implanted yet effectively in Indonesia. In this paper, we report the alternative way to overcome this problem. It addresses how blended learning support self-directed learning and enhance teacher competency research. Through questionnaire, interview and document analysis, the result showed that blended learning-based self-learning can improve teachers performance in conducting classroom action research (CAR) and enhance their ability in compiling the research report

Pengaruh Pemanfaatan Media Internet dan Media Vcd terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa Mata Pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Ekonomi Ditinjau Darimotivasi Belajar

Background: The aims of this research are to know: (1) The difference of effect between internet media and VCD media to the achievement in social science of economics , (2) The difference of effect between high learning motivation and low learning motivation to the achievement in social science of economics, (3) The effect interaction between learning media and students\u27 learning motivation to the achievement in social science of economics. Subjects and Methods: The kind of research used in this study is experiment. The population of the research is the students of junior high school at the Islamic Foundation in Kartasura and Gatak District. All of the samples were taken by using a multi-stage cluster random sampling technique. The sample is 127 students represent the population of 771 students. The data of the research were gathered by using questionnaire for learning motivation and test for learning achievement. The data were analyzed by a two-way analysis of variance.Results and Conclusion:(1) There was significant effect difference between internet media and VCD media to the achievement in social science of economics (Fobs: 243.86 > Ftable: 3.84), (2) there was significant effect difference between high learning motivation and low learning motivation toward achievement in social science of economic between students who have high motivation to students who have low motivation (Fobs: 27.526> Ftable: 3.84 ), (3) there was effect interaction between learning media and learning motivation for achievement social science of economics (Fobs: 6.396 > F table: 3.84). KETERPADUAN STRUKTUR DRAMATIK PERTUNJUKAN WAYANG KULIT LAKON SUDHAMALA

Wayang performance can be used for the sake of ritual ceremony ruwatan. The story of wayang performanceruwatan lakon Sudamala comes from kidung Sudamala. The literature work is sacred. Besides in literaturework, Sudamala story also can be seen visually in the relief sculpture of Candi Sukuh (Central Java) andTegowangi (East Java). The research problem is how the integration of dramatic elements in lakon Sudamalapresented by Ki Purbo Asmoro. The purpose of the discussion is to describe the dramatic elements in lakonSudamala. Lakon Sudamala is researched by using textual approach from the dramatic structure as well asthe treatment elements. Based on the approach, the result found is that the presented structure hasn’t beenas strict as the balungan lakon of the palace tradition even it can be a new treatment presentation. The onenight wayang performance is not anymore treated traditionally but it presents a creative treatment of thescene. It can be seen from ginem that the chosen words is suitable to the characters’ characteristics,pocapan that only uses short words, and the presented janturan that seems to be a kind of janturan alit thatis janturan that its expression is relatively short.Keywords: wayang performance, Sudamala, tekstual, dramatic structur
