Kaizen as a step in improving the quality management system

The following work introduces a method kaizen as a step in improving the quality management system. The thesis contains a detailed description of the kaizen’s essence, its components as well as tools characteristic for this method. Moreover the differences between kaizen and innovations are also included in the work.The main aim of this thesis was to create an optimal strategy for the company’s development while introducing kaizen. Owing to the Analytic Hierarchy Process created by T.L. Saaty from among elements which determine the functioning of the company were inferred those most significant which influence the improvement of the business’ economy. On the basis of it alternative strategy models of the improvement of the company were built in order to finally choose the optimal one.Niniejsza praca ma na celu przedstawienie metody kaizen jako kroku w doskonaleniu systemu zarządzania jakością. W pracy została zgłębiona istota kaizen, jej elementy składowe jak również narzędzia charakterystyczne dla tej metody. Przedstawiono także różnice pomiędzy kaizen a innowacjami. Celem głównym było stworzenie optymalnej strategii rozwoju przedsiębiorstwa w kontekście wprowadzenia kaizen. Dzięki wykorzystaniu wielokryterialnej metody hierarchicznej analizy problemów decyzyjnych AHP prof. T.L. Saati`ego spośród elementów determinujących funkcjonowanie firmy w warunkach konkurencyjnego rynku, wyłoniono najistotniejsze czynniki wpływające na poprawę ekonomiczną przedsiębiorstwa. Na tej podstawie zbudowano alternatywne modele strategii rozwoju firmy, by na koniec wybrać optymalny model
