Lagrangian Modeling of Switch Regulated DC-to-DC Power Converters *
Abstract A Lagrangian approach is used for the modeling of switch-regulated DC-to-DC Power Converters. A set of switched Euler-Lagrange (EL) parameters, is proposed which recovers the individual EL formulations of the intervening circuit topologies for each particular switch position. Switched models of the "Boost", the "Buck~Boost", and the "Cuk" converters circuits are systematically derived realism. from the lagrangian for-
An Evaluation of Northwest States Underground Storage Tank Programs
The single most important issue for underground storage tanks (UST\u27s) is their potential to leak into soil and contaminate groundwater (US EPA, 2004a). Groundwater is the source of drinking water for nearly half of all Americans (US EPA, 2004a), and in Idaho, it is the drinking water source for nearly 95% of the state\u27s population (IDEQ, 2001). A leaking UST can present other risks to health and the environment which include explosion and fire (US EPA, 2004a)
