Intraluminal Application of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Enhances Healing of Microvascular Anastomosis in a Rat Model
The impact of the vascular endothelial growth factor in reendthelialization following microvascular anastomosis
Anastomose bewirkt. Ebenso sind extrazellulÀre Matrixproteine wie Fibronektin,
die Kollagen Typen I, III und IV signifikant erhöht. Auch VEGF-Rezeptor flk-1,
sowie Osteopontin und TGF-Ă1 werden durch VEGF induziert. The influence of vegf on reendothelialization, vascular remodeling and the
extracellular matrix following microvascular anastomosis of rat artery is
examined. For the first time it could be shown, that intraluminal application
of vegf leads to an enhanced and better vascular healing following
anastomosis. Equally extracellular matrix proteins like fibronectin, collagen
type I, III and IV are significantly upregulated. Vegf receptor flk-1, as well
as osteopontin and TGF-Ă1 are being induced by vegf
