    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat perkembangan gonad, kualiatas telur dan ketahanan hidup larva ikan Nila (Oreochromis niloticus). Ikan Nila diberi perlakuan dengan salinitas 0, 10, 20, dan 30 o/oo. Ikan nila dengan berat badan 140-200 g masing-masing dipelihara dalam akuarium sebanyak 36 ekor ikan betina dan selama percobaan ikan diberi pakan dengan pellet komersil dua kali sehari. Parameter uji yang diukur untuk mengetahui kinerja reproduksi ikan nila, diameter telur, fekunditas, derajat tetas telur, dan ketahanan hidup larva. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah model eksperimental dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), yang terdiri atas 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan salinitas, yaitu 0, 10, 20, dan 30 o/oo. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji F kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan salinitas 10o/oo merupakan perlakuan yang terbaik karena memberikan respon yang tertinggi padadiameter telur, fekunditas, derajat tetas telur, dan ketahanan hidup larva

    Good quality carp seed supply in relation to number, time, price and location is a crucial factor for the success of the fish cultivation. To ensure the availability of fish seed under these requirements, this study was technically directed to increase the fertility rate, the hatchability rte and the survival of larvae and post larvae. This study was aimed to find good substrates for spawning and egg hatching of the common carp, Cyprinus carpio L. Were used at Sugar Palm Fiber and Hydrilla sp. as substrates for the egg attachment. For this, males and females of 1:1 weight ratio were put into the spawning pond. Eggs attached to both susbtrate types were counted. Water quality parameters, such as temperature, dissolved oxygen and pH, were also recorded. Results showed that common carps had higher preference to Hydrilla sp. to attach their eggs than to Sugar Palm Fiber (kakaban). Egg hatching is also higher in Hydrilla sp than in Sugar Palm Fiber (kakaban), even though the degree of conception, however were not significantly different

    Ratio Pengenceran Sperma Terhadap Motilitas Spermatozoa, Fertilitas Dan Daya Tetas Ikan Lele (Clarias SP.)

    This study was aimed to determine the effect of the dilution ratio of sperm with optimal NaCl and fructose on the motility of the catfish, Clarias sp., spermatozoa, fertility and hatchability of eggs. Catfish used in this study consisted of one parent pairs (male and female weight of 1000 grams weight of 1500 g). NaCl and fructose solution were diluted with aquabidest. The observation was conducted on the motility of spermatozoa, fertility and hatchability of eggs. The experimental design used completely randomized design (CRD). Dilution ratio is 1: 0, 1, 20, 1: 40, 1; 60, 1: 80, and 1: 100 with replicated 3 times. Observations were carried out soon after the sperm mixed with diluents. Fertility occurred 12 hours after fertilization. Egg hatchability was observed after fertilization. The results showed that the ratio of dilution gave significant effect on the sperm motility, fertility and hatchability of the eggs. This research found that the dilution ratio 1: 60 was the best treatment with the average sperm motility of 96. 66%, fertility of 71, 66 5% and egg hatchability of 70%

Minapolitan's fisheries Bitung City is a neighborhood-based economic development fishing effort developed in an integrated manner by the government, the privatesectorand community to create a business climate forbetter for regional economic growth, job creation and community income neighborhood Bitung City. This study aimsto analyze the policy strategy for developingMinapolitan Region of the City of Bitung through SWOT analysis and determinepriorities for the development strategy of Bitung city Minapolitan Region. The research method is a survey study, data were collected through interviews and direct observation and literature. SWOT analysis is used to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Furthermore, to determine the alternative development strategy used OSPM. The study concluded that the strategies that can be used for the development Minapolitan in Bitung are as follows: 1) optimization of fisheriesproduction; 2) improve the facilities, infrastructure and transport infrastructure and fishing port; 3) by improving the quality of human resources in fishing; 4) improving the quality of fisheriesproducts to be able to compete infree market; 5) to build the collective awareness to stay remain committed and consistent in developing minapolitan; 6) industrialization of fisheries bu supportingSpecial Economic Zone (SEZ).Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan telah menetapkan Kota Bitung sebagai salah satu lokasi implementasi program minapolitan berbasis perikanan tangkap. Kawasan minapolitan perikanan tangkap di Kota Bitung adalah suatu kawasan pengembangan ekonomi berbasis usaha penangkapan ikan yang dikembangkan secara terintegrasi oleh pemerintah, swasta dan masyarakat untuk menciptakan iklim usaha yang lebih baik untuk pertumbuhan ekonomi wilayah, penciptaan lapangan kerja dan pendapatan masyarakat kawasan Kota Bitung. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis strategi kebijakan pengembangan Kawasan Minapolitan kota Bitung melalui analisis SWOTdan menetapkan prioritas strategi pengembangan Kawasan Minapolitan kota Bitung. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian survei, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi langsung dan literatur. Analisis SWOT digunakan untuk menidentifikasi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman. Selanjutnya untuk menentukan alternatif strategi pengembangan digunakan OSPM.     Geographic Information System-based Area Suitability Analysis for Seaweed Cultivation in South Halmahera Regency

    Title (Bahasa Indonesia): Kesesuaian lahan budidaya rumput laut berdasarkan sistem informasi geografi di Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan The purpose of this study was to determine the development of seaweed cultivation area based on Geographic Information System (GIS) in South Halmahera District Joronga Islands. Determination of the coordinates used a GPS (Global Positioning System). Physical parameters, such as current and visibility, used a flow-meter and Secchi disc, respectively, while temperature and dissolved oxygen measurements used a 550A YSI Instrument. Water salinity was measured using refractometer and pH used litmus paper. Total study area was 4,202.96 ha covering Gonone, Tawabi, and Pula Gala. All data were analyzed and interpolated using the tools of ArcGIS 10.1 to yield a suitability map image. The highly suitable area for seaweed culture (S3) found covered 719.77 ha.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan area pengembangan budidaya rumput laut berdasarkan Sistem Informasi Geografi (SIG) di Kepulauan Joronga Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan. Penentuan koordinat menggunakan GPS (Global Positioning System). Pengukuran parameter kualitas perairan dan pengamatan kondisi keberadaan lokasi. Pengukuran parameter fisika berupa arus dan kecerahan masing-masing menggunakan flow-meter dan sechi disk, sedangkan pengukuran suhu serta oksigen terlarut menggunakan water test YSI Instrumen 550A, adapun pengukuran salinitas menggunakan Refraktometer dan pH menggunakan kertas Lakmus.     Evaluasi Efek Kombinasi Pakan dan Estradiol_17β terhadap Pematangan Gonad Ikan Lele Dumbo (Clarias Gariepinus)

    Keberhasilan reproduksi dan efisiensi waktu kersediaan benih merupakan hal yang penting dalam budidaya lele dumbo (Clarias gariepinus). Reproduksi ikan banyak ditentukan oleh nutrisi dan stimulasi dengan menggunakan hormon. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi efek pemberian pakan dengan komposisi nutrien berbeda dan penyuntikan hormon estradiol_17β dosis berbeda, terhadap pematangan gonad induk lele dumbo. Ada dua jenis pakan yang digunakan yaitu pakan Profish yang diramu oleh Balai Budidaya Air Tawar, Tatelu; dan pakan KRA sebagai pakan komersil untuk budidaya ikan kerapu. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perbedaan perlakuan memberikan pengaruh yang sangat nyata terhadap perbedaan lama waktu matang gonad induk ikan lele dumbo. Selanjutnya, hasil analisis pegaruh faktor jenis pakan terhadap lama waktu matang menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan jenis pakan memberikan pengaruh yang sangat nyata terhadap lama waktu matang induk lele dumbo. Hasil analisis pengaruh dosis hormon terhadap lama waktu matang gonad induk lele dumbo menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beda lama waktu matang yang sangat nyata antara induk ikan lele dumbo yang disuntik dengan dosis estradiol_17β yang berbeda. Sementara, hasil analisis interaksi antara faktor jenis pakan dan faktor dosis hormon menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh faktor jenis pakan terhadap lama waktu matang gonad induk lele dumbo, berubah secara signifikan, pada saat Perubahan taraf faktor dosis hormon. Fish reproduction is greatly affected by nutrition and responded will to external hormonal introduction. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of feeding with different nutrient composition and hormone injections estradiol_17β different doses, the parent gonad maturation African catfish. There are two types of feed used as feeds Profish concocted by the Balai Budidaya Air Tawar, Tatelu, and KRA as feed commercial feed for grouper. The results showed that the difference in treatment provides a significant influence on differences in the length of time the parent fish gonads mature African catfish. Furthermore, the results of factor analysis pegaruh diets for a long time is ripe suggests that differences in the type of feed is a very real influence on the length of time differences stem mature African catfish. The results of the analysis of the influence of the hormone dose to the gonads mature long stem African catfish showed that there are different length of time is a very real mature between African catfish parent fish were injected with different doses estradiol_17β. Meanwhile, the results of the analysis of the interaction between these factors and the type of feed-dose hormonal factors suggests that the influence of the type of feed for a long time holding the gonads mature African catfish, changed significantly, at a dose factor hormone level changes
