Physico-chemical studies in non-aqueous solvents. III. Transference numbers of silver perchlorate and solvation studies in N,N-dimethylformamide at 25°C

Transference numbers of silver perchlorate have been measured in DMF at 25 ° by the modified Hittorf's method. The accurate ionic conductance of perchlorate ion has been calculated by combining the limiting transference number of perchlorate ion with the limiting equivalent conductance (Λ<SUB>0</SUB>) of silver perchlorate. Ionic conductances and solvation numbers of some other ions are also reported
