    A Review of Data Security Primitives in Data Mining

    This paper has discussed various issues and security primitives like Spatial Data Handing, Privacy Protection of data, Data Load Balancing, Resource Mining etc. in the area of Data Mining.A 5-stage review process has been conductedfor 30 research papers which were published in the period of year ranging from 1996 to year 2013. After an exhaustive review process, nine key issues were found “Spatial Data Handing, Data Load Balancing, Resource Mining ,Visual Data Mining, Data Clusters Mining, Privacy Preservation, Mining of gaps between business tools & patterns, Mining of hidden complex patterns.” which have been resolved and explained with proper methodologies. Several solution approaches have been discussed in the 30 papers. This paper provides an outcome of the review which is in the form of various findings, found under various key issues. The findings included algorithms and methodologies used by researchers along with their strengths and weaknesses and the scope for the future work in the area

    Introduction: Angiogenesis is a normal physiological process that plays an imperative role during tumor development. We believe that the development of a non-invasive imaging technique targeting angiogenesis can provide a better understanding of this important process. Positron emission tomography (PET) – a highly sensitive imaging technique can offer accurate degree of disease quantification. The phenomenon of enhanced permeability and retention effect (EPR effect) is now becoming the gold standard in cancer targeting drug designing. Dendrimers have the ability to exhibit EPR effect for targeted therapeutic/drug delivery approach. Therefore, molecular imaging of tumor angiogenesis using radio-labeled dendrimers is expected to broaden the possibilities for drug development

    A dentifrices are the products which are used for oral hygiene such as freshness of mouth and to avoid tooth decay. The oral hygiene can be maintained throughout the day by using various dentifrices prepared by herbal and medicated ingredient. A tooth is small, calcified, whitish, structure found in the jaws of many vertebrates and used to breakdown food. Teeth are not made of bone but rather of multiple tissues of varying density and hardness. Dentifrices contain ingredients that help reduce caries, plaque, gingivitis, hypersensitivity, calculus, slain, halitosis.     Osteoporosis is a major public health problem, affecting many individuals. The aging population will require problem related prevention, education, and treatment to maintain bone density and reduce the bone fractures and falls. Inadequate intake of nutrients increases the risk for bone loss and subsequent osteoporosis. Protein, calcium and vitamin D are vital nutrients for optimal bone health. Adequate calcium is essential for bone maintenance. There are several other vitamin and mineral needed for metabolic processes related to good bone health, including manganese, copper, iron, zinc, vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin C and the B vitamins. Related macro- and micronutrients play an important role in bone mass integrity and quality. Adequate nutrition for older adults needs to be encouraged to promote and maintain bone health

    The morphology of films prepared by melt-blending polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) withand without nanoclay was investigated after exposure to outdoor solar radiations for 45 days utilising manytechniques. The Raman spectra revealed decreased intensity for all the characteristic Raman bands for PP andPE. The Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy showed formation of hydroxyl/hydroperoxy and carbonylgroups in the exposed samples. The weathered films after 45 days of solar exposure became brittle as indicatedby loss in physical properties and the stress-strain curves. The clay-containing films showed higher strengthloss after solar exposure.     Effect of anaemia on maternal and fetal outcome: an observational study

    Background: Anaemia in pregnancy is a globally health-related issue that affects both mothers and their new-born. Hence an observational study to see the effect of anaemia on maternal and foetal outcome was conducted. Methods: 15024 mothers coming in OPD or IPD in past 4 years were recruited and their haemoglobin measured. Descriptive statistics was used for baseline characteristics. This observational study was conducted in department of obs and gynae, GSVM Medical College Kanpur from August 2018 to August 2022. All the data gathered was processed by SPSS version 25. Results: The main outcomes included 4 maternal outcomes (postpartum haemorrhage, shock, ICU admission, and maternal mortality) and 4 neonatal outcomes (foetal growth restriction, birth weight, NICU admission, stillbirth). 60.03% of the mothers were anaemic in our study. Maternal and foetal complications were more in anaemic than non-anaemic mothers with incidence of PPH, shock, ICU admission, and maternal mortality being 14.07%, 11.33% ,4.30 and 1.31% respectively than non-anaemic mothers with incidence of 11.22%, 7.26%, 1.76%, and 7.28% respectively. Foetal outcome was also poorer in anaemic mothers with incidence of FGR, LBW, NICU admission, Still birth being 3.15%, 8.85%, 12.96%, and 1.09% higher than non-anaemic group with incidence being 1.80%, 3.43%, 9.75%, and 0.30 % respectively. Conclusions: This observational study provides valuable insights into the effect of anaemia on both maternal and foetal outcomes. It emphasizes the importance of early detection and management of anaemia to mitigate the risks associated with this condition

    Nanomechanical inhomogeneities in CVA-deposited titanium nitride thin films: Nanoindentation and Finite Element Method Investigations

    Refractory metals that can withstand at high temperatures and harsh conditions are of utmost importance for solar-thermal and energy storage applications. Thin films of TiN have been deposited using cathodic vacuum arc deposition (CVA) at relatively low temperatures ~ 300 oC using the substrate bias ~ -60V. The nanomechanical properties of these films were investigated using nanoindentation and the spatial fluctuations were observed. The nanoindentation results were simulated using finite element method (FEM) through Johnson-Cook model. We have found the local nitridation plays an important role on nanomechanical properties of TiN thin films and confirms that the nitrogen deficient regions are ductile with low yield stress and hardening modulus. This study further opens the opportunities of modelling the nanoscale system using FEM analysis

    To study the painless labour by epidural analgesia and its effects on cardiotocographic parameters and labour

    Background: Epidural analgesia is a central nerve block technique achieved by injection of a local anesthetic close to the nerves that transmit pain and is widely used as a form of pain relief in labor. The objective was to study the effect of epidural analgesia on cardiotocographic parameters and relief of pain, effect on course of labor and its outcome in terms of duration, any complications and mode of delivery.Methods: A prospective observational study was done on 100 subjects. They were randomly divided into study and control groups, study group (50) were given epidural analgesia after 3cm dilatation while control group (50) did not receive any analgesic. NST was taken before and after analgesia, course of labor, duration of labor, mode of delivery.Results: The study shows no significant effect of epidural analgesia on the duration of labor, mode of delivery, and CTG parameters.Conclusion: Epidural analgesia group shows better pain relief. It favors normal course of labor, no effect on cardiotocographic parameters. Subjects in study group were more satisfied
