Pharmaceutical topical gel: development and validation of a UV spectrophotometric method for determination of polyphenols

The objective was to develop and validate a method for the determination of total polyphenols in a vaginal gel containing a dried extract of Aroeira (Schinus terebinthifolius Raddi). The method was developed by UV spectrophotometry, and proved to be precise, accurate, reproducible, and easy to perform.Colegio de Farmacéuticos de la Provincia de Buenos Aire
