漏 2019, The Author(s). Purpose: To examine the feasibility, acceptability, and efficacy of online supportive care interventions targeting prostate cancer survivors (PCS). Methods: Studies were identified through structured searches of PubMed, Embase and PsycINFO databases, and bibliographic review. Inclusion criteria were (1) examined feasibility, acceptability, or efficacy of an online intervention designed to improve supportive care outcomes for PCS; (2) presented outcome data collected from PCS separately (if mixed cancer); and (3) evaluated efficacy outcomes using randomized controlled trial (RCT) design. Results: Sixteen studies met inclusion criteria; ten were classified as RCTs. Overall, 2446 men (average age 64years) were included. Studies reported on the following outcomes: feasibility and acceptability of an online intervention (e.g., patient support, online medical record/follow-ups, or decision aids); reducing decisional conflict/distress; improving cancer-related distress and health-related quality of life; and satisfaction with cancer care. Conclusion: We found good preliminary evidence for online supportive care among PCS, but little high level evidence. Generally, the samples were small and unrepresentative. Further, inadequate acceptability measures made it difficult to determine actual PCS acceptability and satisfaction, and lack of control groups precluded strong conclusions regarding efficacy. Translation also appears minimal; few interventions are still publicly available. Larger trials with appropriate control groups and greater emphasis on translation of effective interventions is recommended. Implications for Cancer Survivors: Prostate cancer survivors have a variety of unmet supportive care needs. Using online delivery to improve the reach of high-quality supportive care programs could have a positive impact on health-related quality of life among PCS

Flank wear of multilayer coated carbide (TiN/TiCN/Al2O3/TiN) insert in dry hard turning is studied. Machining under wet condition is also performed and flank wear is measured. A novel micro-channel is devised in the insert to deliver the cutting fluid directly at the tool-chip interface. Lower levels of cutting parameters yield the minimum flank wear which is significantly affected by cutting speed and feed rate. In comparison to dry and wet machining, insert with micro-channel reduces the flank wear by 48.87% and 3.04% respectively. The tool with micro-channel provides saving of about 87.5% in the consumption of volume of cutting fluid and energy.W pracy przedstawiono badania nad zu偶yciem kraw臋dzi skrawaj膮cej wielowarstwowej p艂ytki z ceramiki narz臋dziowej (TiN/TiCN/Al2O3/TiN) w toczeniu twardym na sucho. Badano tak偶e zu偶ycie kraw臋dzi skrawaj膮cej w warunkach toczenia na mokro. Nowatorskim rozwi膮zaniem by艂o zastosowanie mikrokana艂u w p艂ytce skrawaj膮cej, przez kt贸ry p艂yn smarny dostarczany jest bezpo艣rednio do styku mi臋dzy narz臋dziem i wi贸rem. Uzyskany t膮 drog膮 ni偶szy poziom parametr贸w skrawania zapewnia minimalne zu偶ycie kraw臋dzi skrawaj膮cej, na kt贸re w istotny spos贸b wp艂ywaj膮 pr臋dko艣膰 skrawania i szybko艣膰 posuwu. W por贸wnaniu do warunk贸w toczenia na sucho i na mokro, zastosowanie mikrokana艂u zmniejsza zu偶ycie kraw臋dzi skrawaj膮cej o odpowiednio 48,87% i 3,04%. Narz臋dzie z mikrokana艂em zapewnia tak偶e oszcz臋dno艣膰 zu偶ycia p艂ynu smarnego i energii o ok. 87,5%

Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) is widely used to perform cladding so as to enhance corrosion resistance and several other properties of substrate material. However, the success of cladding us-ing GMAW depends on the optimal selection of its critical parameters. Therefore, in this study, the cladding of stainless steel over mild steel substrate using GMAW process is investigated with an aim to optimize the GMAW process parameters. Three GMAW process parameters i.e. current, voltage, and torch angle were selected and their effect on the time required to complete the cladding and arc power was investigated and optimized. Multiple objective optimization based on ratio anal-ysis (MOORA) method was employed to evaluate and optimize the effect of the selected process parameters. It was found that the current and voltage have significant effect in reducing the time and power required for the cladding process
