Time-scale invariance of relaxation processes of density fluctuation in slow neutron scattering in liquid cesium
The realization of idea of time-scale invariance for relaxation processes in
liquids has been performed by the memory functions formalism. The best
agreement with experimental data for the dynamic structure factor
of liquid cesium near melting point in the range of wave vectors (0.4
\ang^{-1} \leq k \leq 2.55 \ang^{-1}) is found with the assumption of
concurrence of relaxation scales for memory functions of third and fourth
orders. Spatial dispersion of the four first points in spectrum of statistical
parameter of non-Markovity at has allowed
to reveal the non-Markov nature of collective excitations in liquid cesium,
connected with long-range memory effect.Comment: REVTEX +3 ps figure
Lifts of Foliated Linear Connectionsto the Second Order Transverse Bundles
summary:The second order transverse bundle of a foliated manifold carries a natural structure of a smooth manifold over the algebra of truncated polynomials of degree two in one variable. Prolongations of foliated mappings to second order transverse bundles are a partial case of more general -smooth foliated mappings between second order transverse bundles. We establish necessary and sufficient conditions under which a -smooth foliated diffeomorphism between two second order transverse bundles maps the lift of a foliated linear connection into the lift of a foliated linear connection
Full-Scale-Model Tests of Reinforced Structural Elements
AbstractModern construction projects represent complex engineering structures that vary in purpose, materials, height, the regulatory period of service, purpose and features of operation. Oftentimes, there is a need for reconstruction of old buildings and structures. It requires the development of technologies, methods, and special equipment for the inspection of buildings and constructions, as well as for the quality control not only in the course production but also at the construction site. The use of control devices allows solving problems of contractor's non-compliance with the requirements of the project and the consequences of incorrect installation which in its turn may lead not only to economic losses but also to the damage to the health and lives of people. The paper deals with the diameter of the control task rebar for reinforced concrete structures by adopting the full-scale-model test approach. The main method of the non-destructive testing of the selected eddy current. As a result of the algorithm application, a full-scale-model test approach was developed with a simulated “drive-object control” line in the package Ansys Maxwell XV
Reinforcing aluminum alloys with high strength fibers
A study is made of the possibility of reinforcing aluminum and aluminum based alloys with fibers made of high strength steel wire. The method of introducing the fibers is described in detail. Additional strengthening by reinforcement of the high alloy system Al - An - Mg was investigated
