    ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MARKETING INTERSECTION POST-COVID-19: A CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK

    As a result of mass digitization during the pandemic, businesses were able to automate business processes, giving people and brands a deeper connection. A proactive strategy, however, is the next step for organizations to implement AI during crisis situations by going one step further. In spite of this, most organizations still do not adequately address this growing problem. After Covid outbreaks, consumer behavior is unlikely to return to pre-pandemic levels. Consumers will increasingly buy goods and services online, and more people will work remotely. In the post-Covid-19 world, as economies slowly begin to open up again, artificial intelligence (AI) will be extremely valuable as companies begin to adapt to the new environment. Similar to other global crises, several major trends that were already underway before Covid are likely to accelerate as a result of the pandemic. Companies must continue to invest in artificial intelligence initiatives during the recovery phase. A conceptual framework for marketing and user engagement is presented in this paper that uses artificial intelligence and automation in ways that are user-centric, integrating traditional marketing practices into an overarching framework that can be implemented by structured artificial intelligence. Embedded technologies, artificial intelligence, and automation have had a significant impact on the four Ps of marketing and will continue to do so

The result of this is that governments are able to increase their competitiveness, ease of doing business, contribute to the growth of their economies, and attract investors to their countries, as a result of this. The fact that data centers are capable of being re-used for a theoretically unlimited range of purposes means that they cannot be depleted at all because they can never run out of use. In the event that data centers are repurposed for the purpose of generating opportunities for growth, or generating benefits for society on a large scale that could not have been imagined when the data centers were first created, then the result may be positive spill-over effects. Governments can enhance their reputation by investing in Data Centers and initiatives but they can also be able to drive innovation across the economy by taking data-driven decisions that enhance their reputation as well. By making data available as well as sharing it, spillover benefits may also be created, since the availability and sharing of data may enable "super-additive" insights that may be greater than the sum of insights derived from isolated parts (data silos), allowing data to be used more efficiently

When it comes to complying with the environmental and social legislations and regulations relevant to their industry, an organization can leverage technology to enable compliance management to help them address a number of issues. In case of socially responsible, environmentally friendly suppliers that are certified by sustainable rating organizations and have green compliance certifications, the system will be able to assist suppliers in quickly identifying them. A close eye should be kept on the reputation of our suppliers, especially if it comes to any unethical practices that they may engage in, such as child labor, raising our carbon footprint, producing hazardous wastes, etc., that they might be engaging in. A key point that should be taken into account is that it is more likely that for many corporations, the footprint and the value associated with it related to sustainability will be found in the supply chain rather than in any operations that are controlled directly by the corporation itself. Increasingly, the public is demanding that the promises made by the government should be kept. In order to ensure that the company is able to deliver on its commitments to sustainable performance, leaders must be able to extract and manage the increased innovation coming from suppliers as well as employees. In this paper, we explore how regulations, rising energy costs, and consumer concerns about ethical business practices are driving corporations in many sectors to look at sustainable procurement as a way to reduce costs and increase the value they are putting into their business practices as a whole. According to this research, leading countries and businesses are benefiting from sustainable procurement practices as a result of a more sustainable approach to procurement. The reason for this is that a sustainable approach to procurement can lead to lower costs, reduced risk levels, and increased stakeholder value, as well as a wider range of innovative products and pricing options

    Dynamical layer decoupling in a stripe-ordered, high T_c superconductor

    In the stripe-ordered state of a strongly-correlated two-dimensional electronic system, under a set of special circumstances, the superconducting condensate, like the magnetic order, can occur at a non-zero wave-vector corresponding to a spatial period double that of the charge order. In this case, the Josephson coupling between near neighbor planes, especially in a crystal with the special structure of La_{2-x}Ba_xCuO_4, vanishes identically.     Correlated Wave-Functions and the Absence of Long Range Order in Numerical Studies of the Hubbard Model

    We present a formulation of the Constrained Path Monte Carlo (CPMC) method for fermions that uses trial wave-functions that include many-body effects. This new formulation allows us to implement a whole family of generalized mean-field states as constraints. As an example, we calculated superconducting pairing correlation functions for the two-dimensional repulsive Hubbard model using a BCS trial state as the constraint. We compared the results with the case where a free-electron trial wave-function is used. We found that the correlation functions are independent of which state is used as the constraint, which reaffirms the results previously found by Zhang et. al regarding the suppression of long range pairing correlations as the system size increases.Comment: 15 pages, 3 figures, submitted to Phys.     Look Beneath the Surface: Exploiting Fundamental Symmetry for Sample-Efficient Offline RL

    Offline reinforcement learning (RL) offers an appealing approach to real-world tasks by learning policies from pre-collected datasets without interacting with the environment. However, the performance of existing offline RL algorithms heavily depends on the scale and state-action space coverage of datasets. Real-world data collection is often expensive and uncontrollable, leading to small and narrowly covered datasets and posing significant challenges for practical deployments of offline RL. In this paper, we provide a new insight that leveraging the fundamental symmetry of system dynamics can substantially enhance offline RL performance under small datasets. Specifically, we propose a Time-reversal symmetry (T-symmetry) enforced Dynamics Model (TDM), which establishes consistency between a pair of forward and reverse latent dynamics. TDM provides both well-behaved representations for small datasets and a new reliability measure for OOD samples based on compliance with the T-symmetry. These can be readily used to construct a new offline RL algorithm (TSRL) with less conservative policy constraints and a reliable latent space data augmentation procedure. Based on extensive experiments, we find TSRL achieves great performance on small benchmark datasets with as few as 1% of the original samples, which significantly outperforms the recent offline RL algorithms in terms of data efficiency and generalizability.Comment: The first two authors contributed equall

    The clinical correlation between Alzheimer's disease and epilepsy

    Alzheimer's disease and epilepsy are common nervous system diseases in older adults, and their incidence rates tend to increase with age. Patients with mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer's disease are more prone to have seizures. In patients older than 65 years, neurodegenerative conditions accounted for ~10% of all late-onset epilepsy cases, most of which are Alzheimer's disease. Epilepsy and seizure can occur in the early and late stages of Alzheimer's disease, leading to functional deterioration and behavioral alterations. Seizures promote amyloid-β and tau deposits, leading to neurodegenerative processes. Thus, there is a bi-directional association between Alzheimer's disease and epilepsy. Epilepsy is a risk factor for Alzheimer's disease and, in turn, Alzheimer's disease is an independent risk factor for developing epilepsy in old age. Many studies have evaluated the shared pathogenesis and clinical relevance of Alzheimer's disease and epilepsy. In this review, we discuss the clinical associations between Alzheimer's disease and epilepsy, including their incidence, clinical features, and electroencephalogram abnormalities. Clinical studies of the two disorders in recent years are summarized, and new antiepileptic drugs used for treating Alzheimer's disease are reviewed
