<p>Results of a comparison of each genotype and <i>HMOX1</i> mRNA expression levels were S/S = 0.01 ± 0.03, S/L = 0.049 ± 0.001, and L/L = 0.024 ± 0.009. S/S was significantly higher compared with S/L (<i>p</i> = 0.002) and L/L (<i>p</i> = 0.004).</p
