The aim of the article is to present the results of managing the competence oriented self-directed student learning while studying graphical subjects at Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University.Methods. The technology of self-directed engineering-graphical training of future bachelors based on the analysis of educational literature and teaching experience, providing individualization and professional education is suggested. The method of team expert appraisal was used at all stages of self-directed learning management. This method is one of main in qualimetry (the science concerned with assessing and evaluating the quality of any objects and processes); it permits to reveal the components of engineering-graphical competence, to establish the criteria and markers of determining the level of its development, to perform expert evaluation of student tasks and estimation procedures.Results. It has been established that the revitalization of student selfdirected learning owing to professional education and individualization permits to increase the level of student engineering-graphical competence development. Scientific novelty. The criteria evaluation procedures for determining the level of student engineering-graphical competence development in the process of their professional oriented self-directed learning while studying graphical subjects at a technical university are developed.Practical significance. The professional-focused educational trajectories of independent engineering-graphic preparation of students are designed and substantially filled in content. Such training is being realised at the present time at Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University, major «Instrument Engineering»

The implementation of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education 3 ++ requires devising individual curricula for students with regard not only to the demands of the federal and regional labor markets, as well as of the academic community, but also to the educational needs and interests of students themselves. In our opinion, at a time of shortage of teaching staff, including the system of preschool education, the devising of individual curricula and related to their implementation individual educational trajectories of students will increase motivation for learning that provides them with the opportunity to purposefully choose an individual path of development and self-improvement.The aim of the given paper is to present the bases for projecting individual educational trajectories of future teachers of preschool organizations, consideration of which will create the most favorable conditions for motivation, self-management and self-development of students; will determine effective methods and technologies of their education by individual educational trajectories. The methodological framework for determining the bases for projecting future preschool teachers’ individual educational trajectories includes systematic and competency-based approaches. The key method of the research is the general scientific method of analysis of scientific pedagogical literature and regulatory documents in the field of higher and preschool education. To conduct pedagogical expertise of the bases for projecting individual educational trajectories, the method of group expert assessment is used. The presented bases for the projecting of future teachers’ individual educational trajectories comprise the consistency of the requirements of basic regulatory documents in the field of preschool education and provide a more comprehensive approach to the selection and contents of elective modules, as well as increase students’ motivation for learning and self-improvement in the professional field. The research materials can be useful for university administration and teachers while creating individual educational trajectories for bachelors who are professionally oriented on teaching in preschool establishments

Blogging as a Tool to Organize the Profession-oriented Independent Work of Future Teachers

    No full text
The relevance of the study in question is caused by the growth of students’ independent work and the need to train future teachers so that they can organize this work more effectively using modern technologies. One of the optimal information and communication technologies for organizing students’ independent work is blogging. Therefore, this paper explores the attitude of future teachers towards blogging, its potential forms of use in organizing students’ independent work. The key research method to study this problem, in our case, has been the survey of Vocational Training students. It helped us to determine what future teachers think about blogging as a teaching tool, what skills they have and do not have for this, and also the problems that a teacher may face when organizing students’ independent work with blogging. This paper discusses the main features of blogging as a teaching tool. The criteria for assessing the results of student blogging, the stages of student blogging following the authors’ methodology, are presented. Moreover, the article shows the results of experimental work where the Vocational Training students have been writing their blogs in Russian for over a month. In the research, it was found that student-bloggers lack independent thinking, while the majority of participants would prefer to use blogging in their future teaching activities. The results of our research conclude that the use of blogging to organize students’ independent work facilitates the development of the required competencies such as professional language competence. Furthermore, it is proven that the experience and skills of blogging provide more opportunities for educators in their job and career
