    Empirical analysis on construction level of intelligent tourism industry in Jiangsu Province

    In 2010, Zhenjiang city of Jiangsu Province took the lead in creatively proposing the concept of “smart tourism”, which is a new proposition. The economic and resource situation of tourism industry in Jiangsu Province was analyzed, and then a SWOT analysis of the current situation of tourism industry in Jiangsu Province was also analyzed. Then, based on the perspective of tourists, six main influencing factors were selected, and SPSS software was used to analyze the data. From the results of factor analysis, tourism auxiliary services explain the 82.579% influencing factors. Finally, according to the factor score data, K-means clustering was conducted on 13 cities in Jiangsu Province, and it can give some suggestions for the development of intelligent tourism industry in various cities.

    Collaborative Propagation on Multiple Instance Graphs for 3D Instance Segmentation with Single-point Supervision

    Instance segmentation on 3D point clouds has been attracting increasing attention due to its wide applications, especially in scene understanding areas. However, most existing methods operate on fully annotated data while manually preparing ground-truth labels at point-level is very cumbersome and labor-intensive. To address this issue, we propose a novel weakly supervised method RWSeg that only requires labeling one object with one point. With these sparse weak labels, we introduce a unified framework with two branches to propagate semantic and instance information respectively to unknown regions using self-attention and a cross-graph random walk method. Specifically, we propose a Cross-graph Competing Random Walks (CRW) algorithm that encourages competition among different instance graphs to resolve ambiguities in closely placed objects, improving instance assignment accuracy. RWSeg generates high-quality instance-level pseudo labels. Experimental results on ScanNet-v2 and S3DIS datasets show that our approach achieves comparable performance with fully-supervised methods and outperforms previous weakly-supervised methods by a substantial margin

    Ti4O7/g-C3N4 for Visible Light Photocatalytic Oxidation of Hypophosphite: Effect of Mass Ratio of Ti4O7/g-C3N4

    Hypophosphite wastewater treatment is still a critical issue in metallurgical processes and the oxidation of hypophosphite to phosphate followed by the precipitation of phosphate is an important strategy for hypophosphite wastewater treatment. Herein, Ti4O7/g-C3N4 photocatalysts with various mass ratios (Ti4O7 (m): g-C3N4 (m) = 0.5, 0.2, 0.1, and 0.05) were synthesized by a hydrolysis method and the effect of the mass ratio of Ti4O7 (m): g-C3N4 (m) on Ti4O7/g-C3N4 visible light photocatalytic oxidation of hypophosphite was evaluated. The as-prepared Ti4O7/g-C3N4 were characterized and confirmed by SEM, XPS, XRD and FTIR. Moreover, the specific surface area and the distribution of pore size of Ti4O7/g-C3N4 was also analyzed. Our results showed that Ti4O7/g-C3N4 exhibited remarkably improved photocatalytic performance on hypophosphite oxidation compared with g-C3N4 and meanwhile 1:2-Ti4O7/g-C3N4 with a mass ratio of 0.5 showed the best photocatalytic performance with the highest oxidation rate constant (17.7-fold and 91.0-fold higher than that of pure g-C3N4 and Ti4O7, respectively). The enhanced performance of photocatalytic oxidation of hypophosphite was ascribed to the heterojunction structure of Ti4O7/g-C3N4 with broader light absorption and significantly enhanced efficiency of the charge carrier (e−-h+) generation and separation. Additionally, the generated ·OH and ·O2- radicals contributed to the hypophosphite oxidation during the photocatalytic system

    A New Classification Method of Infrasound Events Using Hilbert-Huang Transform and Support Vector Machine

    Infrasound is a type of low frequency signal that occurs in nature and results from man-made events, typically ranging in frequency from 0.01 Hz to 20 Hz. In this paper, a classification method based on Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT) and support vector machine (SVM) is proposed to discriminate between three different natural events. The frequency spectrum characteristics of infrasound signals produced by different events, such as volcanoes, are unique, which lays the foundation for infrasound signal classification. First, the HHT method was used to extract the feature vectors of several kinds of infrasound events from the Hilbert marginal spectrum. Then, the feature vectors were classified by the SVM method. Finally, the present of classification and identification accuracy are given. The simulation results show that the recognition rate is above 97.7%, and that approach is effective for classifying event types for small samples

    Population Size, Genetic Diversity and Molecular Evidence of a Recent Population Bottleneck in Hynobius chinensis, an Endangered Salamander Species

    Severe population declines can reduce species to small populations, offering permissive conditions for deleterious processes. For example, following such events, species can become prone to inbreeding and genetic drift which can lead to a loss of genetic diversity and evolutionary potentials. Hynobius chinensis is a poorly studied very rare and declining endangered amphibian species endemic to China in Changyang County. We investigated adult census population size by monitoring breeding populations from 2015 to 2018, developed microsatellite markers from the transcriptome and used them to investigate genetic diversity, and a population bottleneck in this species. We found H. chinensis in 4 different localities in a total area of 2.18 km2 and estimated the overall adult census population size at 386–404 individuals. The adult census size (mean ± SE) per breeding pond ranged from 44 ± 6 to 141 ± 8 individuals and appeared smaller than that reported in closely related species in undisturbed habitats. We developed and characterized 13 microsatellite markers in total. Analysis of data at 7 loci (N = 118) in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium gathered from the largest population showed that genetic diversity level was low. The average number of alleles per locus was 2.14. The observed and expected heterozygosities averaged 0.38 and 0.40, respectively. The inbreeding coefficient was –0.06. All tests performed to investigate a population bottleneck, i.e. The Garza-Williamson test, Heterozygosity excess test, Mode shift test of allele frequency, and effective population size estimates detected a population bottleneck. The contemporary and the historical effective population sizes were estimated at 36 and 234 individuals, respectively. We argue that as bottleneck effects, the studied population may have become prone to genetic drift and inbreeding, losing microsatellite alleles and heterozygosity. Our results suggest that populations of H. chinensis may have been extirpated in the study area

    Chromosome-level genome assembly of the yellow boxfish (Ostracion cubicus) provides insights into the evolution of bone plates and ostracitoxin secretion

    The Ostracion cubicus, commonly known as the yellow boxfish, is a remarkable species with a body encased in a bone plate and the ability to produce an ostracitoxin from their skin when under stress. However, the genetic basis of those effective defense traits is still largely unknown due to the lack of genomic resources. Here, we assembled the first chromosome-level genome of O. cubicus with 867.50 Mb in genome size and 34.86 Mb N50 scaffold length by HiFi and Hi-C sequencing. Twenty-five pseudo-chromosomes, numbered according to size, covered 94.13% of the total assembled sequences. A total of 23,224 protein-coding genes were predicted, with a BUSCO completeness of 98.6%. Positive selection or rapid evolution was observed in genes related to scale and bone development (acsl4a, casr, keap1a, tbx1), and up-regulation of transcription was found in the skin of boxfish (bmp1, bmp2k, bmp4, bmp7, smad5, suco, prelp, mitf), likely associated with the bone plates evolution in the yellow boxfish. An expansion of the solute carrier family 22, a cluster of genes in solute carrier (SLCs) family, transmembrane protein family (TMEMs), vesicle trafficking (SECs), ATP-binding cassette (ABCs) and apolipoproteins (APOs) were identified under positive selection, rapid evolution, or up-regulated in the skin of boxfish, likely associated with the ostracitoxin secretion in the yellow boxfish. Our study not only presents a high-quality boxfish genome but also provides insights into bone plates evolution and ostracitoxin secretion of O. cubicus

    Effect of dexmedetomidine on postoperative nausea and vomiting in female patients undergoing radical thoracoscopic lung cancer resection

    Introduction: Postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) is a prevalent postsurgical complication. The objective of our study was to compare the effect of different doses of dexmedetomidine on PONV in female patients undergoing radical thoracoscopic lung cancer resection.Methods: A total of 164 female patients undergoing elective thoracoscopic radical lung cancer surgery were enrolled and assigned to one of four groups. Patients received 0.2 μg/kg/h, 0.4 μg/kg/h, 0.8 μg/kg/h dexmedetomidine and normal saline in the Dex1, Dex2, Dex3 and Control groups, respectively. The primary outcome was the incidence of PONV during 48 h postoperatively. The second outcomes included the incidence of PONV and postoperative vomiting (POV) at four time points postoperatively (T1: PACU retention period; T2: PACU discharge to postoperative 12 h; T3: postoperative 12 h-postoperative 24 h; T4: postoperative 24 h-postoperative 48 h), the area under the curve of PONV grade (PONVAUC), PONV grade, POV grade and other postoperative recovery indicators.Results: The incidence of PONV differed among the four groups. The Dex2 group (29.27%) was lower than that in the Dex1 group (61.90%) and Control group (72.50%). The incidence of PONV at T2 in the Dex1 group (11.90%) and Dex2 group (9.76%) was lower than that in the Control group (42.50%). The incidence of PONV at T3 in the Dex2 group (29.27%) was lower than that in the Dex1 group (61.90%) and Control group (62.50%). The PONVAUC was lower in the Dex2 group than in the Control group. The incidence of POV at T3 in the Dex2 and Dex3 groups was lower than that in the Control group. The consumption of remifentanil, norepinephrine, PACU dwell time, VAS scores, postoperative PCA press frequency, and the time for the first postoperative oral intake were different among the four groups. The regression model shows that the Dex2 group is a protective factor for PONV.Conclusion: Dexmedetomidine can reduce the incidence of PONV and accelerate postoperative recovery in female patients undergoing radical thoracoscopic lung cancer resection. Compared with the other two dosages, 0.4 μg/kg/h dexmedetomidine is preferable.Clinical Trial Registration:chictr.org.cn, identifier ChiCTR230007183

    Altered fluvial patterns in North China indicate rapid climate change linked to the Permian-Triassic mass extinction

    The causes of the severest crisis in the history of life around the Permian-Triassic boundary (PTB) remain controversial. Here we report that the latest Permian alluvial plains in Shanxi, North China, went through a rapid transition from meandering rivers to braided rivers and aeolian systems. Soil carbonate carbon isotope (δ13C), oxygen isotope (δ18O), and geochemical signatures of weathering intensity reveal a consistent pattern of deteriorating environments (cool, arid, and anoxic conditions) and climate fluctuations across the PTB. The synchronous ecological collapse is confirmed by a dramatic reduction or disappearance of dominant plants, tetrapods and invertebrates and a bloom of microbially-induced sedimentary structures. A similar rapid switch in fluvial style is seen worldwide (e.g. Karoo Basin, Russia, Australia) in terrestrial boundary sequences, all of which may be considered against a background of global marine regression. The synchronous global expansion of alluvial fans and high-energy braided streams is a response to abrupt climate change associated with aridity, hypoxia, acid rain, and mass wasting. Where neighbouring uplands were not uplifting or basins subsiding, alluvial fans are absent, but in these areas the climate change is evidenced by the disruption of pedogenesis
