Compliance to treatment as the factor determining the effectiveness of optimal medical therapy in patients with occlusive atherosclerosis of the internal carotid artery

The article analyzes the compliance to treatment of dyslipidemia in patients with occlusive atherosclerosis of the internal carotid artery. The conclusion is made that low adherence to treatment of dyslipidemia in patients with occlusive atherosclerotic carotid artery. The analysis of the compliance to treatment of gender and age differences. Found that compliance to treatment is not dependent on age. Women were more committed to drug therapy with statins.В статье проанализирована приверженность к лечению дислипидемии у больных с окклюзирующим атеросклерозом внутренних сонных артерий. Сделан вывод о низкой приверженности к лечению дислипидемии у больных с окклюзирующим атеросклерозом ВСА. Проведен анализ приверженности к лечению с учетом гендерных и возрастных особенностей. Установлено, что приверженность к лечению не зависит от возраста. Женщины достоверно более привержены к лекарственной терапии статинами
