A Study of the Applicable Process of Chinese Farmers Starting Businesses in Their Hometowns

In China, farmers starting businesses in their hometowns have become a driving force behind the farmer income increasing, and have enhanced the vitality of rural development. We find and develop an applicable process of farmers starting businesses that are the key to ensure more farmers or rural migrant workers of returning home to start businesses successfully. This paper presents 6 specific aspects for farmers starting businesses in their hometowns：farmers evaluate themselves as entrepreneurs, establish suitable business ideas, the market assessment, determine the business organization and legal form, work out a plan of the start-up capital and profit, and a judgment for the future enterprise. This paper also makes scientific analysis of these specific aspects to hope that more farmers start businesses successfully and promote rural economic development in China

Study of Chinese Peasants’ in Situ Entrepreneurial Project Categories and Their Market Prospects

Currently, Chinese government at all levels actively support peasants’ entrepreneurships in situ and returned migrant workers’ entrepreneurships in situ. It is necessary to analyze entrepreneurial project categories and their market prospects in order to support peasants’ entrepreneurships. Chinese peasants’ in situ entrepreneurial projects refer to various entrepreneurial projects which are suitable for the conditions where peasants are located. There are practical market backgrounds for peasants to start a business in situ and motivations to change their current living conditions. There are general entrepreneurial projects for peasants as well as specific entrepreneurial project categories and their market prospects for peasants in specific location such as Fengdu County. Hope these entrepreneurial project categories and their market prospects for peasants can provide reference for the analysis of peasants’ in situ entrepreneurial projects and their market prospects in different places in China.

Study of Reasonable Selections of Chinese Peasants’ in Situ Entrepreneurial Projects

The reasonable selection of peasants’ in situ entrepreneurial projects is one of the key factors in China’s agricultural modernization. Peasants’ in situ entrepreneurial project selection means the process of peasant entrepreneurs selecting their own entrepreneurial project in accordance with the scientific methods from many entrepreneurial projects. From a historical perspective, the reasonable selection of peasants’ in situ entrepreneurial projects has experienced three stages. The basis of the reasonable selection of peasants’ in situ entrepreneurial projects includes measurability, accessibility, controllability and accommodation stability and other standards, and this paper takes beef cattle breeding project in Fengdu county as an example to analyze what a reasonable selection is with the hope to provide references of the reasonable selection of entrepreneurial projects for peasants and returned migrant workers

A Study on the Political Discipline and Organizational Discipline Construction of Chinese Universities

A minority of Chinese universities show a slacking leading cadres and staff in the political discipline and organizational discipline building. It then spreads to the associated people through the flow of students, which has seriously damaged the image of Chinese universities and political discipline and organizational discipline construction. Strengthening Chinese universities’ construction of political discipline and organizational discipline seems to become especially important. This article analyzes the scientific connotation of political discipline and organizational discipline of Chinese universities, clarifies the existing systematic protection and effectiveness of Chinese universities’ political discipline and organizational discipline building, clarifies the major problems and reasons such as improper recognition of political discipline and organizational discipline construction and poor supervision, etc., and advocates measures to better implement and carry out Chinese universities’ political discipline and organizational discipline construction, such as that Chinese universities should promote employees’ awareness of political discipline and organizational discipline construction based on the Party Constitution; Chinese universities should make scientific and feasible plans to strengthen political discipline and organizational discipline construction based on their realities; Chinese universities should strengthen supervision and inspection to put political discipline and organizational discipline construction into practice

Research Into Management Mechanism and Operation of Off-Campus Practice Bases in High-Standard Characteristic Campus

Off-campus practice base is a guarantee to promote education and teaching reforms and quality of school running and admission rate. After several rounds of integration over 14 years, Sichuan Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, predecessor of Southwest University Rongchang Campus, has been built into a high-standard campus with its own characteristic. With great attention paid to the establishment of off-campus practice bases, it has built more than 30 practice bases for its students. Against the backdrop, this paper puts forward a “six-combination” management mechanism, including the combination of campus and off-campus practice bases, the combination of campus, functional departments (like the educational administration department) and colleges, the combination of production and operation management of off-campus practice bases and campus teaching and scientific research, the combination of campus student entrepreneurship and off-campus practice bases, the combination of teaching simulation and off-campus practice bases, and the combination of campus majors or research directions and demands of off-campus practice bases. It is found that the operation of the “six-combination” management mechanism could achieve remarkable results, including vigorously guaranteeing the continuous and steady improving of talent training quality

Research on the Teaching Strategies for Universities and Colleges to Improve the Training Effect of Veterinary Medicine New-Type Professional Farmers

Based on the experiences of the Sunshine Project over the past years, the Central Committee of the CPC put forward the requirement of “vigorously cultivating new-type professional farmers” in No. 1 Document in 2012. Since then, Chinese universities and colleges, especially those related to agriculture, have launched the training of new-type professional farmers. This is an important approach for Chinese agriculture, especially Chinese livestock husbandry, to develop and cultivate their human resources. To improve the training effect of veterinary medicine new-type professional farmers, it is necessary for universities and colleges to adopt the intensive organization management of learners, optimization and combination of the faculty, functionalization of training content, diversification of training methods and other teaching strategies. By doing so, it can also contribute to the realization of the ambitious goal of promoting sound and fast development of livestock husbandry in China or even the whole Asian Region at large.

Recent advances progress in radiotherapy for breast cancer after breast-conserving surgery: a review

Adjuvant radiotherapy after breast-conserving surgery has become an integral part of the treatment of breast cancer. In recent years, the development of radiotherapy technology has made great progress in this field, including the comparison of the curative effects of various radiotherapy techniques and the performance of the segmentation times. The choice of radiotherapy technology needs to be co-determined by clinical evidence practice and evaluated for each individual patient to achieve precision radiotherapy. This article discusses the treatment effects of different radiotherapy, techniques, the risk of second cancers and short-range radiation therapy techniques after breast-conserving surgery such as hypo fractionated whole breast irradiation and accelerated partial breast irradiation. The choice of radiotherapy regimen needs to be based on the individual condition of the patient, and the general principle is to focus on the target area and reduce the irradiation of the normal tissues and organs. Short-range radiotherapy and hypofractionated are superior to conventional radiotherapy and are expected to become the mainstream treatment after breast-conserving surgery

PCPL: Predicate-Correlation Perception Learning for Unbiased Scene Graph Generation

Today, scene graph generation(SGG) task is largely limited in realistic scenarios, mainly due to the extremely long-tailed bias of predicate annotation distribution. Thus, tackling the class imbalance trouble of SGG is critical and challenging. In this paper, we first discover that when predicate labels have strong correlation with each other, prevalent re-balancing strategies(e.g., re-sampling and re-weighting) will give rise to either over-fitting the tail data(e.g., bench sitting on sidewalk rather than on), or still suffering the adverse effect from the original uneven distribution(e.g., aggregating varied parked on/standing on/sitting on into on). We argue the principal reason is that re-balancing strategies are sensitive to the frequencies of predicates yet blind to their relatedness, which may play a more important role to promote the learning of predicate features. Therefore, we propose a novel Predicate-Correlation Perception Learning(PCPL for short) scheme to adaptively seek out appropriate loss weights by directly perceiving and utilizing the correlation among predicate classes. Moreover, our PCPL framework is further equipped with a graph encoder module to better extract context features. Extensive experiments on the benchmark VG150 dataset show that the proposed PCPL performs markedly better on tail classes while well-preserving the performance on head ones, which significantly outperforms previous state-of-the-art methods.Comment: To be appeared on ACMMM 202
