Effect of Hagedorn States on Isothermal Compressibility of Hadronic Matter formed in Heavy-Ion Collisions: From NICA to LHC Energies

In this work, we have studied the isothermal compressibility (κT\kappa_T) as a function of temperature, baryon chemical potential and centre-of-mass energy (sNN\sqrt{s_{NN}}) using hadron resonance gas (HRG) and excluded-volume hadron resonance gas (EV-HRG) models. A mass cut-off dependence of isothermal compressibility has been studied for a physical resonance gas. Further, we study the effect of heavier resonances (>> 2 GeV) on the isothermal compressibility by considering the Hagedorn mass spectrum, ρ(m)exp(bm)/(m2+m02)5/4{\rho}(m)\sim{\exp(bm)}/{(m^2+m_0^2)^{5/4}}. Here, the parameters, bb and m0m_0 are extracted after comparing the results of recent lattice QCD simulations at finite baryonic chemical potential. We find a significant difference between the results obtained in EV-HRG and HRG models at a higher temperatures and higher baryochemical potentials. The inclusion of the Hagedorn mass spectrum in the partition function for hadron gas has a large effect at a higher temperature. A higher mass cut-off in the Hagedorn mass spectrum takes the isothermal compressibility to a minimum value, which occurs near the Hagedorn temperature (THT_H). We show explicitly that at the future low energy accelerator facilities like FAIR (CBM), Darmstadt and NICA, Dubna the created matter would be incompressible compared to the high energy facilities like RHIC and LHC.Comment: Same as published pape

The introduction of the Tesla in 2008 demonstrated the possibility of public electric vehicles to reduce fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions in the transportation industry. It catapulted electric vehicles into the spotlight around the world when, due to growing demand and fossil fuel prices, they reached unanticipatedly high levels at a time when emerging countries required significant economic growth. Electric automobiles' energy storage capacity, as well as the grid's expected erratic discharge and loading, provide significant operational and maintenance issues. For large numbers of vehicles to be integrated with the smart grid and electric vehicles, optimal preparation approaches are critical. Greenhouse gas emissions are one of the most serious environmental issues, and their rates are increasing rapidly as the world becomes more industrialised. Solar energy for transportation can help to solve this problem. The goal of the proposed effort is to include a green energy-supporting technology; imagine a situation in which we can utilise photovoltaic energy to charge vehicles that are integrated into the vehicle. The research highlights the functional aspects of electric vehicles and provides an illustrated literature analysis on recent breakthroughs in the field. The main components of an electric car with a solar photovoltaic system are also explained in the research report. The study is beneficial in gaining a better grasp of the properties and issues in the realm of electric vehicles

Nutraceuticals are considered to be fortified or enriched foods providing all the essential nutrients required for maintaining the optimal health. A numerous studies have suggested the potential association of nutraceuticals with diet and health. This article gives a brief review on the classification of nutraceuticals on the basis of the availability of the nutraceutical from the natural sources which is further being processed and proving its medical health benefits in the market. The review also summarizes about the functional nutraceuticals acting as dietary supplements, suggested to have the capacity to significantly contribute to the modulation of the complex mechanisms of disease pathology with a view being that they may be essential in optimizing in vivo defences and help in maintaining wellness. Nonetheless, several more clinical and biological studies are needed to support guidelines for the intake of nutraceutical for the prevention and treatment in specific diseases and its medical benefits

Numerical modeling of virus transport through unsaturated porous media

    Get PDF
This paper describes the movement of virus in one-dimensional unsaturated porous media. The governing virus transport equations consider the inactivation in liquid phase, liquid–solid interface, air–liquid interface, and sorption in both liquid–solid and air–liquid interfaces. Finite-volume method has been used for solving the advection and dispersion processes of the virus transport equation. The effects of transport parameters on virus concentration profiles have been investigated for virus present in liquid phase, adsorbed liquid–solid and liquid–air phases. The results show that the movement of viruses in three phases is affected by soil moisture, inactivation rate, pore velocity, and mass transfer coefficients. It is found that the magnitude of virus sorption is higher at the air–liquid interface as compared to the liquid–solid interface. A higher value of mass transfer coefficient leads to an increase in the virus concentration in both liquid–solid and air–liquid interfaces

An insight to self emulsifying drug delivery systems, their applications and importance in novel drug delivery

Abstract Since last couple of years Self-emulsifying drug delivery systems are becoming important tool in novel drug delivery. It is very useful in solving problems such as low bioavailability issues associated with poorly water soluble drugs. The bioavailability of lipophilic drugs (BCS-II and IV) can be enhanced by these systems. SEDDS is released in the lumen of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) after administration and with the aid of GI fluid a fine emulsion (micro-/nanoemulsion) is formed. The increased surface area and amphoteric nature of SEDDS lead to increase in bioavailability. The hepatic first-pass effect can be bypassed by these systems because the drugs can subsequently be absorbed by lymphatic pathways. In this review we present a report on the formulation, characterization and dosage forms and applications of selfemulsifying formulations, with examples of currently marketed preparations
