Design of High Performance and Energy Efficient Explicit Pulsed Sense Amplifier Based Flip-Flop

In this paper, we have presented a new design of explicit pulsed sense amplifier based flip-flop (SAFF) which gives high performance parameters. The most important factors need to be considered while designing efficient circuits are low power with less delay .Our proposed design attracted these performance parameters due to its design using GDI technique. Different topologies along with their layout simulations have been compared with respect to power consumption, delay and temperature sustainability in order to prove the superiority of proposed design. The simulation has been carried out on Tanner EDA tool on BSIM3v3 45nm technology

E-Mail Data Analysis by Considering Auxiliary Information

    Get PDF
The immense evolution of the technologies is directly proportional to the rise of mails in our email boxes. Emails are always considered as the best source of communication. To utilize the true potential of these emails (unstructured data) transformation should be done on it in order to extract needed information from it thus saving time. Data mining fulfills this need. Also the main information is carried by the documents attached to these mails, so extraction of this auxiliary data is very necessary. To access these emails effectively with the auxiliary data present in them as per user’s sentiments, this paper propose text analytics method to cluster the mails into different groups on the basis of emotions using various scalable machine learning techniques

A Novel CPW Fed MIMO Antenna for UWB Applications

    Get PDF
This paper presents two planar antennas designed from a compact novel CPW fed UWB antenna. The first antenna is single UWB antenna. The single UWB antenna covers the entire UWB frequency band. Single antenna operates in 2.8 GHz to 12.6 GHz. The second antenna is MIMO antenna which is made with orthogonal placement of two UWB antennas and MIMO antennas covers the entire UWB frequency band. The MIMO antenna with orthogonal placement of antennas operates in 2.9 GHz to 12.7 GHz band. The designed single antenna has dimensions of 27 X 34 X 1.6 mm3 and MIMO antennas have volume of 61 X 34 X 1.6 mm3 for orthogonal placement. Antenna has satisfactory performance in terms gain, radiation pattern, return loss, voltage standing wave ratio, envelope correlation coefficient and diversity gain for UWB MIMO application

Musculoskeletal Adverse Events Associated with Adjuvant Aromatase Inhibitors

    Get PDF
Musculoskeletal symptoms including arthralgia and myalgia occur frequently in aging women, particularly during the transition to menopause, when plasma estrogens precipitously decline. In postmenopausal women (PMW) with breast cancer, third-generation aromatase inhibitors (AIs) as adjuvant hormonal therapy have proven to be more effective, and to have a more predictable side effect profile, than tamoxifen. However, AIs further reduce plasma estrogens in PMW, exacerbating musculoskeletal symptoms. Clinical trial data have shown significantly higher incidences of arthralgia and myalgia with AIs compared with women on tamoxifen or placebo. Symptoms may be severe enough to significantly affect quality of life; musculoskeletal symptoms are a frequent reason for discontinuing therapy. In many cases, symptoms can be effectively managed with oral analgesics or other strategies. Early recognition and effective management of musculoskeletal symptoms can help maximize treatment compliance, enabling patients to derive optimal benefit from therapy in terms of preventing recurrence

MEDIA MIX MODELING COMPARISON OF INTERACTION MODEL TO SIMPLE LOG-LINEAR MODEL

    Get PDF
The objective of current study is to compare a new model for media mix problem with popular model named as simple log linear model. A modified approach proposed to improve the results of media mix model from simple log linear method includes the simultaneous effect of different media variables on sales. The combined effect caused by various media variables shows a synergy in the curve for sales and hence considering it makes the model much effective and accurate

Identification and quantification of biological active constituents of Amritarishta, a herbal formulation

    Get PDF
Herbal formulations have been used by Indian and Chinese traditional systems of medication for a long time. Amritarishtais one of the herbal formulations that possess various biological activity viz., antioxidant, anticancer, analgesic, antipyretic, antidiabetic, etc. The active constituents include gallic acid, tannic acid, piperine, and quercetin, etc. Ethanolic extract of theformulation was analysed and quantified. Rf (Retardation factor), functional groups and amount of some of the major chemicalconstituents were analysed by TLC, FTIR, LC/MS, HPTLC and HPLC, respectively. LC/MS results reveal the presence ofquercetin, piperine, tannic acid and gallic acid in the formulation. With the help of HPTLC and HPLC, the quantity of 4chemical constituents in the formulation was estimated. This type of study is completely new to herbal research

Influence of Malnutrition on Adverse Outcome in Children with Confirmed or Probable Viral Encephalitis: A Prospective Observational Study

to explore the independent predictors of adverse outcome in the patients with confirmed/probable viral encephalitis. The primary outcome variable was the incidence of adverse outcomes defined as death or severe neurological deficit such as loss of speech, motor deficits, behavioural problems, blindness, and cognitive impairment. Patients with confirmed or probable viral encephalitis were classified into two groups based on their -score of weight-for-age as per WHO growth charts. Group I. Patients with confirmed or probable viral encephalitis with weight-for-age (W/A) -scores below −2SD were classified as undernourished. Group II. Patients with confirmed or probable viral encephalitis were classified as having normal nutritional status (weight-for-age -score >−2SD). A total of 114 patients were classified as confirmed or probable viral encephalitis based on detailed investigations. On multivariate logistic regression, undernutrition (adjusted OR: 5.05; 95% CI: 1.92 to 13.44) and requirement of ventilation (adjusted OR: 6.75; 95% CI: 3.63 to 77.34) were independent predictors of adverse outcomes in these patients. Thus, the results from our study highlight that the association between undernutrition and adverse outcome could be extended to the patients with confirmed/probable viral encephalitis
