    Get PDF
Improper ratio of nutrients input in soil severely affects the human health and enviournment. Appropriate irrigation and nutrilization is essential to produce good quality growth in plants. The plants growth can be successfully regulated by managing the pH and EC of the Nutrigation solution according to soil requirement. An automated soil pH and EC indicator cum controller system for Nutrigation has been developed to provide balanced nutrition level in plants. Developed system comprises of two sensors (pH sensor, EC sensor) to measure pH and EC of the Nutrigation solution, AT89C51 microcontroller is used as the manager and controller of sub-modules such as valve control module, EC/PH measurement module, and power module etc. The output signals from the sensors are interfaced to microcontroller through ADC. Computed results are displayed on LCD. The results show that the system is controlling nutrient application is more accurately and uniformly. This system has shown ample benefits such as immediately available to plants, the system is very simple to operate, install, requires less maintenance and can be easily used for on-field testing. It also minimizes the risk of environmental harm. The simulation results shows that the controller developed can realize the intended function accurately i.e. pH and EC of Nutrigation solution in maintained on the basis of output readings from pH and EC sensors

Deconstructing her: a study of four female characters in Christian and Hindu texts

Centuries of male dominance have led to alterations and misinterpretations of religious texts, leading to ambiguity regarding the women in these narratives. This research engages with key texts of Hinduism and Christianity using literary analysis of the construction, presentation, and reception of the primary female characters: Mary of Nazareth and Mary Magdalene in the Christian New Testament; SÄ«tā from the Rāmāyaį¹‡a, and DraupadÄ« from the Mahābhārata. This study examines the passages where these women are mentioned, and goes on to attempt a character reconstruction and challenge their popular stereotypical reception. The research is divided into four chapters beginning with Mary of Nazareth where her presence in the New Testament is traced through the Gospels. Passages emphasizing Maryā€™s unwavering faith in God, her bravery, and her attempts to understand the divine events around her, are highlighted in order to demonstrate that she was more than a passive, obedient mother. Next, the four Gospels are examined to reconstruct Mary Magdaleneā€™s loyalty towards Jesus and his cause. Further, the passages that have been wrongly attributed to her are highlighted to get to the roots of the misconception that Mary was a woman engaged in prostitution. The study then moves to the Puranic Hindu texts and first examines SÄ«tā by exploring her divinity, rage, intelligence, and bravery, a portrayal that contrasts to the modern reception of her character. Finally, popular myths about DraupadÄ« are challenged as the study outlines her divine origins, her multiple public humiliations, her justified anger, and her spirited debates with the men around her. The study concludes with a contribution to feminist exploration and comparative theology of sacred texts through a comparative theological analysis of the four women in these texts

    POTENTIAL ANTI-CANCER SUPERFOODS: A MINIREVIEW

Cancer, a leading cause of mortality worldwide, has gained much attention and concern for its debilitating effects. Among the various oncological treatments and therapies like surgery, radiation, hormonal therapy, immune therapy, targeted therapy, Chemoprevention or Chemotherapy has recently being recognized as a promising strategy for prevention of afflicting disease like cancer. Chemoprevention is the use of natural or synthetic agents (alone or in combination) to suppress or prevent the process of oncogenesis. The role of diet and nutrition in cancer development has been overlooked for decades, despite of its strong scientific evidence. Only in recent years, plants, vegetables, herbs and spices of traditional diet and medicines have been accepted as one of the main sources of chemo preventive substances

A Spy robot is a machine which can be controlled by the cell phone. The cell phone has twelve buttons to control the robot in four directions and also to perform other functionalities. This spy robot holding four technologies together, they are- Human Motion Detection using Passive Infrared Sensor, Metal Detection, Night Vision Wireless Camera and LED Flasher. PIR sensor detects the changes in the IR levels emitted by the humans. It can detect the levels of Infrared Radiations. Robot motion, Metal Detection, Night Vision Wireless Camera and LED Flasher is done by DTMF Technology. The system used two mobile phones, one to control the robot that sends DTMF commands via call to another mobile phone mounted on the robot vehicle. A DTMF decoder, metal detector and LED Flasher are interfaced with the microcontroller of 8051 family.

A spy robot is a combination of embedded systems to achieve the motive of surveillance, security and safety for the benefits of mankind. As the evolution of miniaturization of electronics components leads to development of electronic industry, it gives rise to the idea of creating a machine which is capable of performing tons of activities on place of human being more accurately and efficiently also consuming lesser time. One type of these machines is known as ā€˜robotā€™. Spy robots have the capabilities of moving around their environment and perform the specific tasks for which it has been created or in other words programmed. It can be controlled manually as well as automatically. With the development of electronic industry the scope of robotics also rises. Many types of robots have been introduced using embedded technology to perform different tasks

This data-intensive study examined civic engagement in urban environments, and we found a varied participant sample with ages ranging from 22 to 40 (mean age 31.4), nearly equal gender distribution (52% female, 48% male), and a range of educational backgrounds, including postgraduates (35%), high school graduates (25%), and bachelor's degree holders (40%). A rich tapestry of civic activities was found throughout our inquiry, with 15% making financial contributions, 35% attending, and 45% actively volunteering. Social network research revealed that participants with a wider range of social connections had higher levels of engagement, underscoring the critical function that social networks play in promoting civic participation. Informed urban development and community cohesiveness depend on understanding the complex interactions between demographics, participation roles, and social networks, all of which are shaped by this research
