Hadronic Rapidity Spectra in Heavy Ion Collisions at SPS and AGS energies in a Quark Combination Model

The quark combination mechanism of hadron production is applied to nucleus-nucleus collisions at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron (SPS) and BNL Alternating Gradient Synchrotron (AGS). The rapidity spectra of identified hadrons and their spectrum widths are studied. The data of π−\pi^{-}, K±K^{\pm}, ϕ\phi, Λ\Lambda, Λˉ\bar{\Lambda}, Ξ−\Xi^{-}, and Ξˉ+\bar{\Xi}^{+} at 80 and 40 AGeV, in particular at 30 and 20 AGeV where the onset of deconfinement is suggested to happen, are consistently described by the quark combination model. However at AGS 11.6 AGeV below the onset the spectra of π±\pi^{\pm}, K±K^{\pm} and Λ\Lambda can not be simultaneously explained, indicating the disappearance of intrinsic correlation of their production in the constituent quark level. The collision-energy dependence of the rapidity spectrum widths of constituent quarks and the strangeness of the hot and dense quark matter produced in heavy ion collisions are obtained and discussed.Comment: 7 pages, 5 figure

Dynamical tunneling-assisted coupling of high-Q deformed microcavities using a free-space beam

We investigate the efficient free-space excitation of high-Q resonance modes in deformed microcavities via dynamical tunneling-assisted coupling. A quantum scattering theory is employed to study the free-space transmission properties, and it is found that the transmission includes the contribution from (1) the off-resonance background and (2) the on-resonance modulation, corresponding to the absence and presence of high-Q modes, respectively. The theory predicts asymmetric Fano-like resonances around high-Q modes in background transmission spectra, which are in good agreement with our recent experimental results. Dynamical tunneling across Kolmogorov-Arnold-Moser tori, which plays an essential role in the Fano-like resonance, is further studied. This efficient free-space coupling holds potential advantages to simplify experimental conditions and excite high-Q modes in higher-index-material microcavities

Polygamy relation of quantum correlations with equality

We provide a generalized definition of polygamy relations for any quantum correlation measures. Instead of the usual polygamy inequality, a polygamy relation with equality is given by introducing the polygamy weight. From the polygamy relation with equality, we present polygamy inequalities satisfied by the β\betath (β>0)(\beta>0) power of the quantum correlation measures. Taking concurrence of assistance as an example, we further illustrate the significance and advantages of these relations. We also obtain a polygamy relation with equality by considering the one-to-group entanglements for any quantum entanglement measures that do not satisfy the polygamy relations. We demonstrate that such relations for tripartite states can be generalized to multipartite systems

Certain Class of Analytic Functions Based on qq-difference operator

In this paper, we considered a generalized class of starlike functions defined by Kanas and R\u{a}ducanu\cite{10} to obtain integral means inequalities and subordination results. Further, we obtain the for various subclasses of starlike functions.Comment:
