    Get PDF
We obtain the Picard-Fuchs equations of N=2 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory with the exceptional gauge group E_6. Such equations are based on E_6 spectral curve.Comment: Latex, 5 pages, few misprints are corrected, conclusion is adde

Diamond-Like Carbon film from Liquid Gas on Metallic Substrates

Liquid gas was used to produce DLC films on Cu, Al and steel substrates by DC plasma technique. The absorption in IR reflectance indicates, grown films are DLC. By deconvolution of room temperature UV-visible spectra of the films grown at 50 mtorr and 200{}^\circC, in addition to the spectra lines reported for CL, PL, PLC and ESR, some new spectra lines were obtained. We also, have seen exciton absorption line at room temperature.Comment: 6 pages, Postscript, 2 figure

Free Field Representation of osp(21)osp(2|1) and Uq(osp(21))U_q(osp(2|1)) and N=1 (q-)Superstring Correlation Functions

The free field realization of irreducible representations of \os is constructed, by a unified and systematic scheme. The qq-analog of this unified scheme is used to construct qq-free field realization of irreducible representations of \uos. By using these realization, the two point function of N=1N=1 superconformal (q-superconformal) model based on \os (\uos) symmetry have been calculated.Comment: 10 pages, LaTex, no figures, New section has been added; to be published in Phys. Logarithmic Operators in Conformal Field Theory and The \W_\infty-algebra

It is shown explicitly that the correlation functions of Conformal Field Theories (CFT) with the logarithmic operators are invariant under the differential realization of Borel subalgebra of \W_\infty-algebra. This algebra is constructed by tensor-operator algebra of differential representation of ordinary sl(2,C)sl(2,C). This method allows us to write differential equations which can be used to find general expression for three and four-point correlation functions possessing logarithmic operators. The operator product expansion (OPE) coefficients of general logarithmic CFT are given up to third level.Comment: 19 pages, LaTex, no figures, Version to appear in Int. J. Mod. Phys. A 12 (1997

A Logarithmic Conformal Field Theory Solution For Two Dimensional Magnetohydrodynamics In Presence of The Alf'ven Effect

When Alf`ven effect is peresent in magnetohydrodynamics one is naturally lead to consider conformal field theories, which have logarithmic terms in their correlation functions. We discuss the implications of such logarithmic terms and find a unique conformal field theory with centeral charge c=2097c=-\frac{209}{7}, within the border of the minimal series, which satisfies all the constraints. The energy espectrum is found to be \newline E(k)k137logkE(k)\sim k^{-\frac{13}{7}} \log{k}.Comment: Latex, 9 page

    On osp(2|2) conformal field theories

We study the conformal field theories corresponding to current superalgebras osp(22)k(1)osp(2|2)^{(1)}_k and osp(22)k(2)osp(2|2)^{(2)}_k. We construct the free field realizations, screen currents and primary fields of these current superalgebras at general level kk. All the results for osp(22)k(2)osp(2|2)^{(2)}_k are new, and the results for the primary fields of osp(22)k(1)osp(2|2)^{(1)}_k also seem to be new. Our results are expected to be useful in the supersymmetric approach to Gaussian disordered systems such as random bond Ising model and Dirac model.Comment: LaTex file 20 pages; Title changed and modifications mad
