Purpose: The article presents an economic and legal analysis of the terms of contracts for international delivery of goods involving Russian suppliers. Design/Methodology/Approach: The authors analysed the international norms of regulating relations for the goods’ delivery involving the foreign element. Terms of the goods delivery are investigated according to the national legislation of the Russian Federation. Findings: As a result, it is necessary to use an economic and legal approach when developing contract terms for the goods’ delivery to take into account norms of international law, the national legislation of the supplier country and in accordance with the calculations of the contract price and payment terms. Practical Implications: The proposed method is in accordance with the international legal framework and it can be adopted by the Russian Federation easily. Originality/Value: There is no such an approach eligible to modernize the existing system in the country.peer-reviewe

The location of Airy-0, the Mars prime meridian reference, from stereo photogrammetric processing of THEMIS IR imaging and digital elevation data

The small crater Airy-0 was selected from Mariner 9 images to be the reference for the Mars prime meridian. Initial analyses in the year 2000 tied Viking Orbiter and Mars Orbiter Camera images of Airy-0 to the evolving Mars Orbiter Laser Altimeter global digital terrain model to update the location of Airy-0. Based upon this tie and radiometric tracking of landers/rovers from Earth, new expressions for the Mars spin axis direction, spin rate, and prime meridian epoch value were produced to define the orientation of the Martian surface in inertial space over time. Since the Mars Global Surveyor mission and Mars Orbiter Laser Altimeter global digital terrain model were completed some time ago, a more exhaustive study has been performed to determine the accuracy of the Airy-0 location and orientation of Mars at the standard epoch. Thermal Emission Imaging System (THEMIS) IR image cubes of the Airy and Gale crater regions were tied to the global terrain grid using precision stereo photogrammetric image processing techniques. The Airy-0 location was determined to be about 0.001° east of its predicted location using the currently defined International Astronomical Union (IAU) prime meridian location. Information on this new location and how it was derived will be provided to the NASA Mars Exploration Program Geodesy and Cartography Working Group for their assessment. This NASA group will make a recommendation to the IAU Working Group on Cartographic Coordinates and Rotational Elements to update the expression for the Mars spin axis direction, spin rate, and prime meridian location

Uterine leiomyosarcoma and disseminated peritoneal leiomyomatosis in the surgical treatment of uterine myoma: a retrospective analysis

Aim. To analyze the incidence and types of adverse outcomes and complications of laparoscopic myomectomies. Materials and methods. This work is a retrospective study based on data from the Kulakov National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Perinatology. We analyzed 711 case histories of patients diagnosed with uterine myoma who received surgical treatment in the Department of Innovative Oncology and Gynecology from 2015 to 2019. The frequency of malignant neoplasms, verified by pathomorphological examination, and the characteristics of surgical interventions performed in these patients were comparatively evaluated. Results. Surgical interventions for uterine myoma are leading in gynecology due to the high prevalence of such disorders. Conservative myomectomy remains the "gold standard" in organ-sparing surgery. However, during surgeries for suspected benign neoplasms, there is a risk of morcellation of the malignant tumor, significantly worsening patient survival outcomes. In our study, the incidence of uterine leiomyosarcoma in suspected benign neoplasms was 0.98%. The probability of parasitic myomas or disseminated perineal leiomyomatosis after myomatous nodule morcellation is 0.19%. Conclusion. No reliable information about the malignant potential of the tumor and its proliferative activity can be obtained until a definitive pathomorphological examination. The above considerations warrant the routine use of prophylactic measures to prevent tumor cell dissemination

Accumulation of dry substances in hydrolysate during the processing of barley malt sprouts with a celluloid enzyme complex

The article presents the results of a study of the enzymatic hydrolysis of barley malt sprouts by cellulolytic enzymes. The influence of the process parameters (temperature, substrate concentration, concentration of the enzyme preparation, duration of the process) on the output of dry substances in the hydrolysate is shown. The results of the experiments were presented by a mathematical model of the process and graphically-in the form of surface projections reflecting the mutual influence of each possible pair of factors on the dry matter content in the hydrolysate. It is found that all the studied factors have an effect on the accumulation of dry substances in the hydrolysate. As a result of optimization the parameters of the enzymatic hydrolysis process, the following parameter values were obtained: temperature - 50 ˚С, duration of enzymatic hydrolysis-89 min, substrate concentration - 0.37 (hydromodule 1:10), concentration of the enzyme preparation - 0.05 %

The socializing function of the university

    No full text
The article considers the role of the university as a social institution in the urban space. The article establishes the connection and interdependence among the phenomena of the city, the university, the type of rationality, and the type of communication. The transformations of urban space and the functions of the city in history affect the organizational forms and functions of the university. The research environment at the university, using the communication practices that have developed in society, creates a certain type of rationality. The nonclassical type of rationality is formed in the industrial city environment, and university education is changing towards professionalization, and commercialization, changing communication practices and values that need to be mastered for socialization into the industrial world. The post-nonclassical type of rationality coincides with the emergence of a new type of university, created within the framework of the Bologna Process. This is associated with the emergence of so-called multiple identities, formed by a variety of socialization practices. Universities are operating in the global space of global cities and megalopolises. The convergence of these phenomena results in the transformation of the value perception of the world and the axiological paradigm of society. The activity-based method of analyzing the socialization process allowed determining the need to create the idea of a university, based on a value approach. Values and value-based communication practices in the educational system of the university allow moving to a sustainable development society
