Pengaruh Penerapan Sistem Absensi Finger Print terhadap Disiplin Pegawai pada Markas Komando Direktorat Pengamanan Badan Pengusahaan Batam

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of the application of fingerprint attendance on employee discipline in Markas Komando Direktorat Pengamanan Badan Pengusahaan Batam. Data collected through distributing questionnaires to 55 respondents. A sampling technique uses a saturation sampling. The data analysis method used is quantitative analysis using validity and reliability testing, classic assumption test, F test, t test, coefficient of determination and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of data analysis show that 1) the practical dimensions of fingerprint attendance have a positive but not significant effect on employee discipline, 2) the accurate dimension of fingerprint attendance has a positive but not significant effect on employee discipline, 3) high securities fingerprint attendance has a positive and significant effect on employee discipline, 4) the dimensions of fingerprint attendance hardware have a positive but not significant effect on employee discipline, 5) practical, accurate, high security, and fingerprint attendance hardware simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee discipline

Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 55 responden. Metode pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan sampling jenuh. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, uji F, uji t, koefisien determinasi dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa 1) dimensi praktis absensi fingerprint berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap disiplin pegawai, 2) dimensi akurat absensi fingerprint berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap disiplin pegawai, 3) dimensi sekuritas tinggi absensi fingerprint berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin pegawai, 4) dimensi perangkat keras absensi fingerprint berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap disiplin pegawai, 5) dimensi praktis, akurat, sekuritas tinggi, dan perangkat keras absensi fingerprint secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin pegawai

PERBANDINGAN LITERASI INFORMASI MAHASISWA PEMULA POLITEKNIK NEGERI BATAM

This study aims to compare the level of information literacy of first-year students across different studies offered by major at Polytechnic Negeri Batam.  The method used is a descriptive quantitative approach through a questionnaire conducted to 93 respondents.  The sampling method uses purposive sampling. This study takes ALA concept of information literacy which are standard 1 about to able to identify a personal need for information, standard 2 about can access current knowledge and idnetify gaps, standard 3 is about can construct strategies for location information and data and standard 5 is about can review research process and compare and evaluate information and data. The results of this study are that level of student’s information literacy are in Good level. This level get results are 54% of correspondents, 42% satisfactory, low is 3%  and only 1% got very satisfactory. This mostly can be showed by how they can review research process, compare and evaluate information and data

PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MEMECAHKAN MASALAH DAN HASIL BELAJAR PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VB SDIT LHI MELALUI MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL)

Pembelajaran matematika sampai saat ini masih menjadi tantangan bagi siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan hasil belajar pembelajaran matematika kelas VB SDIT LHI melalui model Problem Based Learning. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari atas tahapan perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan rubrik penilaian ketrampilan pemecahan masalah dan soal evaluasi matematika. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskrisi komparatif yaitu membandingkan kondisi awal sebelum dilakukan tindakan (pra-siklus), hasil siklus 1, dan siklus 2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui upaya pendekatan PBL dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan pemecahan masalah matematika. Aspek kemampuan ketrampilan pemecahan masalah terdapat peningkatan rata-rata skor pada setiap siklus, yaitu skor 2,3 pada siklus I dengan kategori sedang menjadi 2,92 pada siklus 2 dengan kategori cukup. Prosentasi jumlah siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar (KKM) pada pra-siklus sebanyak 7 siswa atau 31,81% dari 22 siswa, jumlah siswa yang tuntas dalam belajar matematika pada siklus I sebanyak 10 siswa atau 45,45% dari 22 siswa dan siklus II sebanyak 19 siswa atau 86,36% dari 22 siswa

Photovoltaics (PV) cell adalah sebuah elemen yang dapat melakukan konversi energi dari radiasi akibat panas matahari menjadi energi listrik dengan prinsip semikonduktor. Tegangan dan arus listrik yang dihasilkan sel surya dipengaruhi oleh tingkat intensitas radiasi cahaya matahari dan temperatur udara lingkungan. Alat yang dibuat dalam penelitian ini didesain dengan menggunakan metode lookup table yang dibuat dengan memakai 2 motor sebagai penggerak sumbu x dan y dalam menentukan koordinat dari posisi matahari yang digunakan sebagai penentu intensitas radiasi matahari di Pulau Batam. Pengembangan UMKM Melalui Sosialisasi dan Penyuluhan Secara Digital untuk Menunjang Keberlangsungan Usaha di Masa Pandemi Covid-19

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have an important role in the economy of Indonesian society. The existence of MSMEs is very useful in terms of distributing people's income. From this point, it is necessary to carry out training to support the sustainability of MSMEs and help them overcome various problems, from the management aspect to the capital aspect. Especially during the pandemic Covid-19, where many MSMEs are threatened with their survival. For this reason, the purpose of the community service activities that will be carried out with the method of socialization and counseling through the digital system is to provide information and additional knowledge needed by MSMEs. The information and knowledge provided will be packaged in the form of socialization and counseling videos. The results of the activities were the socialization and counseling materials in digital form that could be accessed by MSMEs by utilizing the current information technology.  Usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian masyarakat Indonesia. Keberadaan UMKM sangat bermanfaat dalam hal pendistribusian pendapatan masyarakat. Melihat dari peranan tersebut, perlu dilakukan pelatihan guna menunjang keberlangsungan dari UMKM dan membantu mereka mengatasi berbagai permasalahan yang ada dari aspek manajemen hingga aspek permodalan yang dibutuhkan. Terlebih dimasa pandemi Covid-19 saat ini, dimana banyak UMKM terancam keberlangsungannya. Untuk itu tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang akan dilaksanakan dengan metode sosialisasi dan penyuluhan melalui sistem digital ini adalah memberikan informasi dan tambahan pengetahuan yang dibutuhkan oleh para pelaku UMKM. Informasi dan pengetahuan yang diberikan akan dikemas dalam bentuk video sosialisasi dan penyuluhan. Pembuatan Media Belajar English For Ecotourism Untuk Masyarakat Hinterland

The English communication skill of people in Pasir Panjang in the context of tourism and trade is still inadequate. To support trade activities, English communication skill is required, especially for those who run business, such as traders as well as other service providers. For this reason, this community service activity was carried out in the form of training. The materials consists of an introduction to vocabulary and idiom commonly found in the context of tourism and trade activities. In this training, several learning media was used to increase participants' interest in learning. Through the delivery of English communication training, it is hoped that communication in English related to tourism and trade can take place more effectively. For the people of Pasir Panjang, an increased confidence level is another benefit that can be acquired through mastery of English, which is considered to hold high prestige by most Indonesians. From the activity that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the media are effective in the delivery of the material. This is evident from the opinion of most participants stating the media are interesting and helps them in learning English.Kemampuan berbahasa Inggris masyarakat kawasan pesisir di Desa Pasir Panjang dalam bidang pariwisata dan perdagangan masih belum memadai. Guna menunjang kegiatan jual beli, kemampuan bahasa Inggris perlu dimiliki oleh sumber daya manusia usia produktif yang menjalankan usaha di kawasan tersebut, seperti para pedagang dan penyedia jasa lainnya di kawasan tersebut. Untuk itu, dilaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian dalam bentuk pelatihan dengan materi berupa pengenalan kosa kata umum dan idiom yang kerap ditemui dalam bidang pariwisata dan kegiatan jual beli. Dalam pelatihan ini, digunakan beberapa media belajar untuk meningkatkan minat belajar peserta. Melalui pemberian pelatihan bahasa Inggris ini, diharapkan komunikasi dalam bahasa Inggris terkait bidang pariwisata dan perdagangan dapat berlangsung dengan lebih efektif. Bagi warga Desa Pasir Panjang, peningkatan kepercayaan diri merupakan salah satu hal yang juga akan diperoleh melalui penguasaan bahasa Inggris, yang dianggap mempunyai prestise tinggi oleh warga negara Indonesia pada umunya. Dari kegiatan yang telah terlaksana, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media dalam penyampaian materi sudah tepat. Hal ini tampak dari pendapat sebagian besar peserta yang menyatakan bahwa media yang digunakan menarik dan selaras dengan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris

This research aims to determine how the SWOT Analysis and Business Model Canvas results at PT Nordic Solusi Indonesia are designed to design the right strategy. The research approach uses qualitative descriptive methods. The informants from the study used the snowball sampling technique by conducting interviews with three informants. The results of this study are that from the SWOT analysis results, PT Nordic Solusi Indonesia has an advantage in the Value Proposition and Key Partnership elements. Meanwhile, the weakness lies in Customer Segments, Channels, Key Resources, and Key Activities. Opportunities owned by PT Nordic Solusi Indonesia are in the Revenue Streams element. At the same time, the threats are in the Cost structure element. The applied strategy concept broadens the scope of the Customer Segment. Adding new value to the Value Proposition, such as a member system for customers, expanding sales on PT Nordic Solusi Indonesia channels by opening or creating a particular website separate from the headquarter website, developing existing value in Customer Relationship by providing discounts on certain purchases, holding gatherings or seminars and free training, add website creation services, design, and other traffic to increase Revenue Stream, maximize all existing values in Key Activities and Key Resources, add new partners to Key Partnerships and add to the current Cost Structure with additional capital from existing capital and carry out more explicit and more detailed planning regarding the use of funds at PT Nordic Solusi Indonesia to avoid uncontrolled use of funds. &nbsp

Socialization and education regarding customs regulations for small entrepreneurs will be very useful for the development of Small Businesses, which is very important in the current conditions, where the Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on the national economy, especially for Batam. This service leads to socialization and education of regulations related to customs for small entrepreneurs. This community service activity aims to provide socialization and education related to customs regulations for micro, small and medium enterprises in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The target of this service is SMEs in Batam. The purpose of this service is to: 1. Provide socialization of customs regulations for small entrepreneurs in Batam. 2. Provide education on customs regulations for small entrepreneurs in Batam. 3. Know the understanding of small entrepreneurs about customs regulations that encourage exports for small entrepreneurs and understand the understanding of shipping regulations. The method that will be implemented is by conducting online training, providing pocket books and motion graphics videos. The expected result is the existence of pocket books and motion graphics videos that can be accessed by small business actors, MSMEs, companies and the community. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan sosialisasi dan edukasi terkait dengan peraturan bea cukai pada usaha mikro kecil menengah di tengah pandemic covid-19. Sasaran kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah para pelaku UMKM di Batam. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk : 1. Memberikan sosialisasi peraturan bea cukai untuk pengusaha kecil di Batam. 2. Memberikan edukasi mengenai peraturan bea cukai untuk pengusaha kecil di Batam. 3.
