The role of the professional factor in subjective satisfaction of the basic vital needs (by Mazhnikova N.V. et al., 2001) and frequency of an arterial hypertensia at 791 workers of the enterprises and establishments was studied. It is shown that conditions of labor activity cause distinctions as the general, and separate types of satisfaction of requirements that associates with various level of frequency of an arterial hypertensia.

Based on the results of experimental studies established the force of adhesion between particles of different food dust, as well as between dust particles and the metal surface, have different schego-purity processing. It is established that the force of adhesion to steel surfaces vary depending on the purity of the steel surface-processing. Maximum adhesion is observed at 7 - 8 grade purity-formed metal processing

Justification of selection of packaging material and packing method for preservation of vitamin-mineral concentrate quality

In the production of quality food products, special attention must be paid to its packaging and storage. These process steps are especially important for products containing labile biologically active substances. In order to select packaging materials and packing method, an analysis of the scientific literature was conducted with the search query “packaging materials for foodstuffs” and “the effect of packaging on the preservation of vitamins during food storage” in the Google Scholar system. The article presents trends in the development and use of packaging materials, reflects the advantages and disadvantages of biopolymers, as well as prospects for improving the characteristics of packaging materials. As an example, for the choice of packaging material and packing method, data from Russian scientists based on packaging materials used in the Russian Federation is given. Storage of beef steaks in bags with reduced gas permeability under vacuum and a modified gas atmosphere with a reduced content of free space for 14 days contributes to the inhibition of bacteria. Storage of sterilized and ultra-pasteurized milk is preferably in bags of a three-word film filled with titanium dioxide, in comparison with glass packaging, due to a decrease in light transmission and a decrease in the rate of decomposition of vitamin C. It is preferable to store orange juice in packages of combined materials that exclude the presence of an air cushion, which positively affects the content of vitamin C. Based on the analysis of packaging materials used in the food industry and taking into account the humidity and chemical composition of the vitamin and mineral concentrate, it seems appropriate to use packaging materials made of polymer films with high light and gas impermeability, which can reduce the rate of destruction of vitamin C and other easily oxidized components and eliminate the use of ? -radiation, replacing it by evacuation. The use of edible films for vitamin and mineral concentrate as packaging materials remains open and requires more careful study

Thin flexible lithium-ion battery featuring graphite paper based current collectors with enhanced conductivity

A flexible, lightweight, and high conductivity current collector is the key element that enables fabrication of a high-performance, flexible lithium-ion battery. Here, we report a thin, lightweight, and flexible lithium-ion battery that uses graphite papers deposited with nano-sized metallic layers as the current collector, LiFePO4 and Li4Ti5O12 as the cathode and anode materials, respectively, and a PE membrane soaked in LiPF6 as the separator. Using thin, flexible graphite paper as a substrate for the current collector instead of a rigid, heavy metal foil enables us to demonstrate an ultra-thin lithium-ion battery (total thickness including encapsulation layers of less than 250 μm) that also features a light weight and high flexibility. </jats:p

Optimization of process pipeline parameters by techno-economic parameters

    Get PDF
In the food and chemical industry, the design of new process pipelines and modernization of existing pipeline systems for transportation of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products is a complex organizational and technical task, one of the stages of which is to carry out the necessary hydraulic calculations. It is common practice in domestic and foreign practices to hydraulically calculate pipeline lines based on the flow intricacy equation and the Bernoulli equation for a real viscous liquid, which takes into account pressure losses on friction and on overcoming local pipeline resistances. With this approach, hydraulic calculation is a multivariate task, as there are infinite combinations of pipeline diameter - differential pressure parameters, unequal from both economic and technical positions. Based on the analysis of literary sources, the work shows the expediency of carrying out hydraulic calculation of pipeline lines according to techno-economic indicators. Total annual costs for creation and operation of the process pipeline, which are a linear superposition of capital and operating costs, are proposed as a criterion for technical and economic optimization of process pipelines. The work proposes design ratios for determining the optimum diameter of the process pipeline based on the condition of minimization of the total annual costs for its creation and operation taking into account the current prices and tariffs for the pipeline and electric power, routing of the pipeline, conditions of its operation, as well as properties of the transported medium. On the example of hydraulic plant for pumping of molasses, computational experiments were carried out to assess the influence of pipeline diameter and mass flow rate of transported medium on technical and economic indices of process pipeline and its optimal parameters were determined. In order to estimate the efficiency of optimization measures, the criterion is proposed, which allows to compare the total annual costs for creation and operation of process pipelines with optimal and different parameters
