Grupların her birinde 29'ar öğrenci olmak
üzere toplam 87 öğrenci bulunmaktadır. Deney grubunda işlenen ders araştırmacı
tarafından yapılandırmacı yaklaşıma dayalı 7E modeli kullanılarak, kontrol-I grubunda
The purpose of this study is to measure the effectiveness of the 7E model to
eliminate misconceptions in simple electric circuits with three-tier questions and to
research the effect of 7E model on the academic success, science process skills and
retention of information.
The study has been carried out on equal three groups (one experimental group
and two control groups) of grade 11th students at Mamak Çağrıbey Anatolian High
School in 2007-2008 second (spring) semester in Ankara. This study included 29
students per groups, 87 students in total. The lesson has been taught using 7E model
based on constructivist approach in experimental group by the researcher, in control-I
group, the course has been taught using direct instruction and question-answer method
by the researcher and in control-II group the course has been taught using direct
instruction and question-answer method by the physics teacher.
At the study, control grouped pretest- posttest quasi-experimental design was
used. The study took 3 hours per week, total 7 weeks. Before the experimental process,
achievement test (AT), three-tier misconception test (MT), a test of scientific process
skills (SPS), interest and experience questionnaire about simple electricity (IEQ), the
result of the Anatolian High School entrance exams and report marks of physics were
used in order to establish the equivalence of experimental and control groups. Achievement
vi
test, three-tier misconception test, a test of scientific process skills were given as post
test. Additionally, approximately five months after the post test, three-tier misconception
test as a retention test was given to the students.
According to the findings of the study, it is shown that 7E model has a significantly
contribution to the achievement of the students, to eliminate of misconceptions and the
development of scientific process skills. According to the results of the study, it is
suggested that 7E model should be used in teaching of physics lessons. In addition, sample
lessons plan prepared for 7E model were presented
Obtaining of Frequency and Voltage Dependent Resistance and Interfacial States Distribution Profiles on Au/(PrBaCoO nanofiber)/n-Si Structures with Different Methods
In this study, the density of interface states (NSS) and series resistance (RS) were examined for both frequency and voltage in PrBaCoO-nanofiber interface layered metal-semiconductor (Au/nSi) structures. For this purpose, capacitance-voltage (C-V) and conductivity-voltage (G/w-V) measurements were performed at room temperature, 1 kHz-1 MHz frequency and (+-3 V) voltage
range. Frequency and voltage-dependent distributions of interface states were obtained from Hill Coleman and high-low capacitance (CHF-CLF) methods, and RS from Nicollian-Brews method.
Interfacial states and their lifetime were obtained from the Admittance/Conductance method developed by Nicollien and Goetzberger. Experimental results show that NSS states in impedance measurements are particularly effective in the regions of depletion and inversion while RS is only effective in the accumulation region and at high frequencies. The measured capacitance and conductivity values are corrected for high frequencies to minimize the RS effect on the measured C-V and G/w-V pilots
NiAu-AlGaN/GaN HETEROYAPILARIN ELEKTRİKSEL KARAKTERİSTİKLERİNİN SICAKLIĞA BAĞLI İNCELENMESİ
(Ni/Au)/Al0.22Ga0.78N/AlN/GaN heteroyapıların (çokluyapıların) akım-voltaj (IV),
kapasitans-voltaj (C-V), kondüktans-voltaj (G/w-V) karakteristikleri, 80-
The current-voltage (I-V), capacitance-voltage (C-V) and conductance-voltage
(G/w-V) characteristics of (Ni/Au)/Al0.22Ga0.78N/AlN/GaN heterostructures were
measured in the temperature range of 80-400 K. Calculated from I-V
characteristics according to thermionic emission (TE) theory; while the zero
bias barrier height (ΦBo) increases with increasing temperature, the ideality
factor (n) values decreases with increasing temperature. The Richardson plot
deviated from linearity under room temperatures. Such behavior is attributed
to inhomogeneties of Schottky barrier by assuming a double Gaussian
distribution. It has been concluded that the temperature dependence of the
forward I-V characteristics of the (Ni/Au)/Al0.22Ga0.78N/AlN/GaN
heterostructures can be successfully explained on the basis of TE mechanism
with double Gaussian distribution of the barrier heights. Also, the forward and
reverse bias C-V and G/w-V characteristics of (Ni/Au)/Al0.22Ga0.78N/AlN/GaN
heterostructures have been investigated by considering the effect of the series
resistance (Rs) and surface states (Nss) over a wide temperature of 80-400 K, at 1
MHz. The C-V and G/w-V characteristics confirm that the Nss and Rs of the
heterostructure are important parameters that strongly influence the electrical
parameters. The high frequency (1 MHz) C and G/w values measured under
both reverse and forward bias were corrected for the effect of series resistance
to obtain the real heterostructure capacitance. Also the electrical conductivity
(σac) is found to decrease with increasing temperature. The activation energy
values were obtained from Arrhenius plot for various applied forward bias
voltages. Calculated values are almost independent from applied forward bias
voltage
