    Hubungan Fatigue dengan Kejadian Excessive Daytime Sleepiness pada Perawat

    Nurses hold an important responsibility for maintaining patients’safety. It has been known that fatigue and sleepiness may result in errors with negative consequences for patient safety. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between fatigue and excessive daytime sleepiness among nurses. This research design is descriptive correlation. The total sample in this study was 36 nurses. This research was conducted at the Special Eye Hospital Medan. Sampling using purposive sampling. Data collection using the Three-Dimensional Work Fatigue Inventory (3D-WFI) and The Epworth Sleepiness Scale. Data analysis using the Chi-Square test. The results of this study indicate that the majority of nurses experience tired fatigue as many as 22 respondents (61.1%) compared to 14 respondents (38.9%) not tired. Chi Square test showed an association between fatigue and excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) in nurses (P = 0.000 <α 0.05). This study recommends nurses to optimize the work hours of nurses to overcome daytime sleepiness, and for nurses to maintain conditions in order to avoid excessive sleepiness which can cause adverse event

    Hypertension or high blood pressure is a condition where the systolic blood pressure has increased above 140 mmHg and the diastolic blood pressure is above 90 mmHg with measurement twice in a calm body condition within a span of five minutes. One of the complications of hypertension that poses a threat is stroke. Attempts that can be done to reduce the rates of death and disability due to stroke, namely preventions by increasing knowledge of stroke and implementing healthy behavior for people with hypertension. This study was aimed to determine the relationship of knowledge about stroke with healthy behavior in patients with hypertension at Karangjambu Health Center. This study used quantitative methods with descriptive correlation design and used a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used nonprobability accidental sampling with 66 respondents. Data were collected using the SRQ questionnaire for knowledge of stroke and HPLP II for the healthy behavior. Univariate analysis used descriptive correlation and bivariate analysis used the spearman rank test. Statistical test results obtained p value 0.001. It is concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge of stroke and healthy behavior in patients with hypertension at Karangjambu Health Center. The better the respondent's knowledge, the better the healthy behavior that is applied, thus the results of this study are important for Health Center officers in attempts to prevent stroke complications in patients with hypertension.

    Stroke is a disease condition caused by a sudden cessation of blood flow to the brain, either due to blockage or rupture of blood vessels and is the third most common non-communicable disease after hypertension and diabetes. Stroke has a psychological impact that causes the patient to be irresistible. Resilience affects the recovery process in stroke patients. Stroke sufferers who are not resilient are influenced by religious coping (spirituality) where spiritual strength and belief can increase resilience in individuals. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between religious coping and resilience in stroke patients in the Work Area of the South Purwokerto Public Health Center. Research design is correlation study survey with a cross sectional time approach. The sample of this research was 45 respondents using simple random sampling technique. Data analysis was determined by the spearman-rank test. The results showed that religious coping in stroke patients in the Work Area of the South Purwokerto Health Center was mostly positive (84.4%). The resilience of stroke patients in the Work Area of the South Purwokerto Health Center is mostly high (86.7%). The results of the Spearman rank correlation test showed that the p-value was 0.0001 (p-value &lt; 0,05). The conclusion is that there is a correlation between Religious coping and Resilience in Stroke patients in work area at South Purwokerto Health Center
