Seniority and symbolic power in student hazing
Orquestrar o aprender no ensino superior - Concepções, abordagens e experiência no curso
Abstract
In the last decades the SAL model focused on three fundamental components of the learning process: concepts, approaches and perceptions about the learning contexts. Based on the experiences described by students, these studies revealed the existence of relations between the three components, the quality of learning and academic results (Entwistle 2007; Saljo & Marton, 1997; Chaleta et al, 2009). The coordination of these components was termed by Meyer as "learning orchestration" (Meyer, 1991, 2000).
In this study, the sample consisted of 562 students of the 1st year who responded to the questionnaires one month after the completion of the evaluation of the 1st semester. In general we can say that in this group of students there is consonance between the conceptions, approaches and experience in the course, i.e. students have appropriate forms of "learning orchestrating” process
On the nonlinearity interpretation of q- and f-deformation and some applications
q-oscillators are associated to the simplest non-commutative example of Hopf
algebra and may be considered to be the basic building blocks for the symmetry
algebras of completely integrable theories. They may also be interpreted as a
special type of spectral nonlinearity, which may be generalized to a wider
class of f-oscillator algebras. In the framework of this nonlinear
interpretation, we discuss the structure of the stochastic process associated
to q-deformation, the role of the q-oscillator as a spectrum-generating algebra
for fast growing point spectrum, the deformation of fermion operators in
solid-state models and the charge-dependent mass of excitations in f-deformed
relativistic quantum fields.Comment: 11 pages Late
