    National defense is not only to maintain the unity of the Republic of Indonesia, but it must be realized in real life to create critical, loyality, and determination of the nation. This study aimed at finding out the efforts to build the value of defending nation through the Education of Pancasila in Universitas PGRI Palembang. The method used was qualitative case study. The techniques used for collecting data were interview, documentation, observation and literature review. The data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions were analyzed simultaneously and interactively by using qualitative analysis. The result of this research stated that (1) the students of Universitas PGRI Palembang still had limited knowledge about the values of nation defense, (2) the students did not have critical attitude towards the problems around them, (3) the students had low achievement in motivation. The efforts done by Universitas PGRI Palembang in handling with these problems were fostering: (1) the values of love of the nation (2) fostering the value of national and state awareness, (3) fostering the values of Pancasila as the ideology of the nation, 4) the value of loyalty to the nation, (5) the knowledge of nation defense, and (6) the spirit of achievement as a reflection of the love of the nation

    Academic supervision is an activity planned to help teachers in the learning process in order to improve students' learning outcomes. This study aimed at investigating the supervision of school's supervisor in improving the professionalism of teachers and improve the quality of education at SMP Negeri 44 Palembang. The type of this research is qualitative and the data were obtained by observation, documentation and interview. The results of this study (1) supervision conducted by applying the official approach, partners, and kinship, and the techniques developed by supervisors in implementing academic supervision vary considerably; (2) supervisory obstacles in carrying out academic supervision is the number of teachers were too many, however it only had limited time; (3) the implementation of general academic supervision is good enough and able to carry out its duties and functions properly; (4) aspects that have been targeted by the supervision of school's supervisors are still limited, not all aspects of academic supervision; (5) the frequency of visits by school's supervisors in conducting academic supervision is considered lack because it is not evenly distributed; teachers receive class visits by supervisors; and (6) efforts made by supervisors in carrying out academic supervision at SMP Negeri 44 Palembang have not been optimal in providing guidance to teachers

    Behavior Change After HIV/AIDS Diagnosis of Female Sexuality in the YOGYAKARTA City

    Background: Anxiety, panic, inability to accept the conditions and low knowledge about good sexual behaviour can worsen HIV status. Purpose: assess changes in sexual behavior before, the time of diagnosis, and current and causes. Methode: Qualitative research phenomenological, semi-structured interviews with in dept interviews in 6 Participants women of reproductive age, diagnosed with HIV between 1-2 years before study, has been or ever married. Analysis using Collaizy. Result: before diagnosis frequency: rarely and still routine, sexual behavior: oral, anal and masturbated to couples, sexual desire did not a decline. Causal factor that changes sexual behavior is a condition of pain, impaired self-image, increasing socio-economic burden, and change partners. Dicussion: Hankins (1997) the majority of women after hear of HIV positive status will experience a significant disruption to the desire, arousal and orgasm function, is due to physiological and psychological factors. Recurrent pain during sexual intercourse can lead to avoidance. Psychosocial factors (stress, financial crisis, depression, anxiety) inhibit the production of liquid lubrication.
