    This research based on the importance of problem solving student ability. Due that thing, teacher should teach the student how to solve the problem, in order to have problem solving ability. This is a pre-experimental research using the Static Group Comparison design, which aims to whether the implementation of a problem solving strategy in cooperative learning type STAD giving good effect to problem solving student ability. This research was implemented in seventh grade SMP Negeri 34 Pekanbaru on first semester academic year 2016/2017. Population in this research is student in seventh grade SMP Negeri 34 Pekanbaru. Sample in this research consist of 69 stundents. A sample determine by purposive sampling's technique, there had been selected the VII3 into class experimental and VII4 into class control. Class experimental was applied problem solving strategy in cooperative learning type STAD and class control was applied cooperative learning type STAD. Data in this research consist of data from the beginning problem solving ability's test before given treatment which used to choose sample and data from problem solving ability's test which used to collecting score from problem solving ability's test. Collecting the data was done by giving test and documentation. The result of this research shows that implementation of problem solving strategy in cooperative learning type STAD give good effect to problem solving student ability

    This research is a pre-experimental research with the static groupcomparison study design, that aims to determine whether the application of problemsolvingstrategy in mathematics learning positively affect on mathematical problemsolving ability of students of class VIII SMP Al-Azhar Syifa Budi Pekanbaru school year2015/2016. This research involved experimental and control classes that consists of 24students and 20 students. The test score of students's mathematical problem solvingability is the data that used to test hypothesis of the research. Based on the test score,obtained the average value of mathematical problem solving ability of students inexperimental class was 3,40 and the average value of mathematical problem solvingability of students in control class was 2,16. From the Mann-Withney test, obtained thesignificance is 0,001 (less than ߙ = 0,05), it is mean that ܪ଴ has rejected and ܪଵ hasaccepted. The average value of test mathematical problem solving ability of students inexperimental class is higher than the average value of test mathematical problemsolving ability of students in control class, it can be conclude that the application ofproblem-solving strategy in mathematics learning positively affects the mathematicalproblem solving ability of students of class VIII SMP Al-Azhar Syifa Budi Pekanbaruschool year 2015/2016

    The background of this research is not optimal results VIII2 grade students' mathematics learning SMPN 9 Pekanbaru with the percentage of students who reached the KKM is 50%. Facts on the ground showed not achieving the KKM is related to the learning process that students have not been optimally engage in learning activities. In connection with this, the researchers to improve the learning process in order to improve student learning outcomes through a research. It is expected with the implementation of this study, the learning process students become better so that students are engaged in an optimal learning and increase student learning outcomes. The Subjects were students of SMPN 9 Pekanbaru VIII2 grade total of 36 students with academic ability level heterogeneous. Instruments collecting research data is observation sheet activities of teachers and students and math achievement test in the form of daily tests. The observation of the teacher and student activity was analyzed as a basis for reflection and see the improvement of the learning process is carried out. While the achievement test used to determine students' mathematics learning outcomes. Based on the analysis of research data, there is improvement of learning process where the student has begun to actively ask and motivated to engage actively in the learning process and learning outcomes of students increased mathematics obtained. KKM achievement was 50% prior to the action and increased to 52.78% in the first cycle and became 83.33% in the second cycle. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of the structural approach to learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) can improve learning outcomes VIII2 grade math student of SMPN 9 Pekanbaru even semester 2015/2016

    This research is a pre-experimental research with the static group comparison study design, that aims to determine whether the ability of Mathematical Problem Solving of students of SMP Negeri 15 Pekanbaru which aplly problem solving strategy in cooperative learning NHT better than students of SMP Negeri 15 Pekanbaru which aplly cooperative learning NHT. This research involved experimental and control classes that consists of 33 students and 28 students. The test score of student\u27s mathematical problem solving ability is the data that used to test hypothesis of the research. Based on the test score, obtained the average value of mathematical problem solving ability of students in experimental class was 81 and the average value of mathematical problem solving ability of students in control class was 43. And from the Independent Sample Test, obtained tarithmetic > ttable (9,45 > 2,002). It is mean that H0 has rejected and H1 has accepted. The average value of test mathematical problem solving ability of students in experimental class is higher than the average value of test mathematical problem solving ability of students in control class.. It can be conclude that the ability of Mathematical Problem Solving of students of SMP Negeri 15 Pekanbaru which aplly problem solving strategy in cooperative learning NHT better than students of SMP Negeri 15 Pekanbaru which aplly cooperative learning NHT school year 2016/2017

    This research based on the students'mathematics achievement at class VIII4 Junior High School Islam As-Shofa who haven't reached passing grade on main topic about Phytagoras. One of the factors to improve students'mathematics achievement is improve learning process, so reacherch try to improve the process by applying Contextual Teaching and Learning on cooperative learning model of Two Stay Two Stray.The research is classroom action research. This aims research to increase learning process and students' math achievement at class VIII4 Junior High School Islam As-Shofa through the implentation Contextual Teaching and Learning in cooperative learning Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS).The subject of the research are 24 students from class VIII4 Junior High School Islam As-Shofa with the heterogenous level. Instrument to collect the data are observation, attitude assessment sheet, skill assessment sheet and mathematics achivement test. The observation data analyzed by using descriptive and qualitative,and for students'test by using descriptiveand quantitative. The qualitative analysis showed an improvement of learning process prior to action to the first cycle and second cycle. The results of this research showed an increase in students achievement for attitude competence from the based-score with the percentage 41,67% to 58,30% on the first cycle and 87,50% on the second cycle. For knowledge competence showed an increase from the based-score with the percentage 29,17% to 37,50% on the first cycle and 70,83% on the second cycle. And for skills competence showed an increase from the based-score with the percentage 12,50% to 37,50% on the first cycle and 70,83% on the second cycle. Based on the finding can be concluded that the implentation of Contextual Teaching and Learning in cooperative learning Two Stay Two Stray could improve students' mathematics achievement at class VIII4 Junior High School Islam As-Shofa in the second semester academic years2014/2015

    Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Van Hiele Berbantu Software Cabri 3d Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas IX Mtsn Andalan Pekanbaru

    This research aims to determine the differences in mathematics learning outcomes of students who were taught using Van hiele model learning aided Cabri 3D with mathematics learning outcomes of students who were taught using conventional learning models. Forms of research is the study Quasi-Experimental with randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were all ninth grade students of MTsN Andalan Pekanbaru, while the sample is a class IX 8 as the experimental group and class IX6 as the control group. Based on the final data obtained homogeneity test two samples have the same variance. Obtained from t test tcount = 1,902 > ttable = 1,67. In other words, the learning outcomes of students who were taught using Van hiele model learning aided Cabri 3D is better than the learning outcomes of students who were taught using conventional learning models
