    Empreendedorismo: como criar um negócio de sucesso? Relato de experiência

    Trabalho apresentado no II Congresso Nacional do PROJETO RONDON, realizado em Florianópolis, SC, no período de 23 a 25 de setembro de 2015 - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina.Em julho de 2015, o município de Barão de Melgaço (MT) foi contemplado com as ações do Projeto Rondon. O objetivo das oficinas era capacitar e estimular comerciantes e futuros comerciantes para a geração de renda para o município, além de torná-los agentes multiplicadores do conhecimento. Lançando mão de uma linguagem mais simplificada a respeito do mundo de negócios e com auxílio de projeções e vídeos, o tema empreendedorismo conquistou os expectadores que ficaram maravilhados com as explanações que envolvia desde o conceito do empreendedorismo e criação do plano de negócios e uma empresa até as ferramentas de finanças. A oficina foi repetida em outras duas comunidades: Cuiabá Mirin e São Pedro de Joselândia. Apesar de todas as adversidades, sempre contamos com um bom número de público, variando entre 10 a 30 pessoas, para prestigiar aquela oficina preparada com tanto carinho e que logo se tornou um debate que possibilitou o esclarecimento de dúvidas e encorajamento para os novos desafios que permeiam a criação e o gerenciamento de um negócio de sucesso. Os resultados obtidos foram considerados satisfatórios uma vez que os moradores/comerciantes saíram super motivados a implementar algumas técnicas de venda que lhes foi passado, além de continuar o trabalho que foi desenvolvido nesses 15 dias de operação

    Transport Far From Equilibrium --- Uniform Shear Flow

    The BGK model kinetic equation is applied to spatially inhomogeneous states near steady uniform shear flow. The shear rate of the reference steady state can be large so the states considered include those very far from equilibrium. The single particle distribution function is calculated exactly to first order in the deviations of the hydrodynamic field gradients from their values in the reference state. The corresponding non-linear hydrodynamic equaitons are obtained and the set of transport coefficients are identified as explicit functions of the shear rate. The spectrum of the linear hydrodynamic equation is studied in detail and qualitative differences from the spectrum for equilibrium fluctuations are discussed.     Static cylindrical symmetry and conformal flatness

    We present the whole set of equations with regularity and matching conditions required for the description of physically meaningful static cylindrically symmmetric distributions of matter, smoothly matched to Levi-Civita vacuum spacetime. It is shown that the conformally flat solution with equal principal stresses represents an incompressible fluid. It is also proved that any conformally flat cylindrically symmetric static source cannot be matched through Darmois conditions to the Levi-Civita spacetime. Further evidence is given that when the Newtonian mass per unit length reaches 1/2 the spacetime has plane symmetry.Comment: 13 pages, Late

    The Effect of Hot Gas in WMAP's First Year Data

    By cross-correlating templates constructed from the 2 Micron All Sky Survey (2MASS) Extended Source (XSC) catalogue with WMAP's first year data, we search for the thermal Sunyaev-Zel'dovich signature induced by hot gas in the local Universe. Assuming that galaxies trace the distribution of hot gas, we select regions on the sky with the largest projected density of galaxies. Under conservative assumptions on the amplitude of foreground residuals, we find a temperature decrement of -35 ±\pm 7 μ\muK (5σ\sim 5\sigma detection level, the highest reported so far) in the \sim 26 square degrees of the sky containing the largest number of galaxies per solid angle. We show that most of the reported signal is caused by known galaxy clusters which, when convolved with the average beam of the WMAP W band channel, subtend a typical angular size of 20--30 arcmins. Finally, after removing from our analyses all pixels associated with known optical and X-ray galaxy clusters, we still find a tSZ decrement of -96 ±\pm 37 μ\muK in pixels subtending about \sim 0.8 square degrees on the sky. Most of this signal is coming from five different cluster candidates in the Zone of Avoidance (ZoA), present in the Clusters In the ZoA (CIZA) catalogue. We found no evidence that structures less bound than clusters contribute to the tSZ signal present in the WMAP data.Comment: 10 pages, 4 figures, matches accepted version in ApJ Letter

    A thorough analysis of the short- and mid-term activity-related variations in the solar acoustic frequencies

    The frequencies of the solar acoustic oscillations vary over the activity cycle. The variations in other activity proxies are found to be well correlated with the variations in the acoustic frequencies. However, each proxy has a slightly different time behaviour. Our goal is to characterize the differences between the time behaviour of the frequency shifts and of two other activity proxies, namely, the area covered by sunspots and the 10.7cm flux. We define a new observable that is particularly sensitive to the short-term frequency variations. We then compare the observable when computed from model frequency shifts and from observed frequency shifts obtained with the Global Oscillation Network Group (GONG) for cycle 23. Our analysis shows that on the shortest time-scales the variations in the frequency shifts seen in the GONG observations are strongly correlated with the variations in the area covered by sunspots. However, a significant loss of correlation is still found. We verify that the times when the frequency shifts and the sunspot area do not vary in a similar way tend to coincide with the times of the maxima of the quasi-biennial variations seen in the solar seismic data. A similar analysis of the relation between the 10.7cm flux and the frequency shifts reveals that the short-time variations in the frequency shifts follow even more closely those of the 10.7cm flux than those of the sunspot area. However, a loss of correlation between frequency shifts and 10.7cm flux variations is still found around the same times.Comment: 7 pages, 6 figures, accepted for publication in MNRA
