Mapeamento Tecnológico das Patentes Desenvolvidas a partir da Tecnolocia Blockchain: um cenário global

Blockchain is the technology that allowed the creation of the cryptocurrency, functioning as a kind of ledger, which stores data without the possibility of alteration; their transactions do not require intermediaries, they occur through decentralized technology in a point-to-point network. This prospective work aims to investigate the evolution of technological products developed from Blockchain technology, showing the versatility and applicability of this technology in several areas. Also sought to categorize the inventions, to punctuate which sectors are highlighted and to highlight inventors, as well as depositors involved with this technology. The research was carried out on several types of scientific documents in the Scopus database and for the patents the Questel-Orbit® tool was used, covering publications from 87 national offices and 6 regional offices. The investigations were carried out in May 2018 and brought the number of 1,256 scientific papers, including 375 articles, and the result of the patent search revealed 1,548 patents related to Blockchain technology, showing a rise of the technology from the year 2015.O Blockchain é a tecnologia que permitiu a criação da criptomoeda bitcoin, funcionando como uma espécie de livro-razão, no qual são armazenados dados sem a possibilidade de alteração; suas transações não necessitam de intermediários, pois ocorrem através de tecnologia descentralizada em uma rede ponto-a-ponto. Este trabalho prospectivo tem por objetivo investigar a evolução de produtos tecnológicos desenvolvidos a partir da tecnologia Blockchain, mostrando a sua versatilidade e aplicabilidade nas mais diversas áreas. Também se buscou categorizar os inventos, pontuar quais setores se encontram em destaque e evidenciar inventores, bem como depositantes envolvidos com essa tecnologia. A pesquisa foi realizada em documentos científicos na base de dados Scopus e, para patentes, foi utilizada a ferramenta Questel-Orbit®, com cobertura de publicações de 87 escritórios nacionais e 6 escritórios regionais. As investigações  foram realizadas no mês de maio de 2018 e trouxeram o quantitativo de 1.256 documentos científicos, entre eles 375 artigos. Já o resultado da busca patentária revelou 1.548 patentes relacionadas à tecnologia Blockchain, mostrando um crescimento de documentos relativos à tecnologia a partir do ano de 2015
