A violação de direitos de pessoas transexuais nas prisões brasileiras: estado da questão

This paper presents the elaboration of the State of the Question of the scientific literature already produced on the relationship between transsexuality and the violation of rights in Brazilian prisons. The State of the Question made it possible to know the panorama of this area of ​​interest and also to systematize the existing scientific production through the survey of studies in the Journal Portal of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) and in the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO). The study's contribution to the debate on the subject remained, given its overview, the conclusion that they are still meager and insufficient given the complexity of the subject, as well as the identification of successful practices in the treatment of transsexual people's rights in Brazilian prisons.Este trabalho apresenta a elaboração do Estado da Questão da literatura científica já produzida acerca da relação entre a transexualidade e a violação de direitos nas prisões brasileiras. O Estado da Questão possibilitou conhecer o panorama dessa área de interesse e, ainda, sistematizar a produção científica existente por meio do levantamento de estudos no Portal de Periódicos da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) e na Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO). Restou dada a contribuição do estudo para o debate sobre a temática, tendo em vista seu apanhado, a conclusão de que ainda são parcos e insuficientes diante da complexidade da temática, bem como a identificação de práticas exitosas no tratamento dos direitos das pessoas transexuais nas prisões brasileiras
