Kinerja Bus Trans Padang Koridor IV dan Karateristik Penumpangnya

Salah satu cara mengimbangi jumlah pergerakan kota adalah dengan membangun transportasi massal. Namun jumlah peminat pengguna Trans Padang Koridor IV terbilang sedikit. Analisis kinerja dan karateristik penumpang Bus Trans Padang Koridor IV berguna untuk peningkatan kinerja berdasarkan karateristik penumpangnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metoda kuantitatif berupa observasi, wawancara, dan juga kuesioner yang selanjutnya dijelaskan secara deskriptif. Analisis kinerja didasarkan oleh keputusan Direktur Jendral Perhubungan Darat No.SK.687/AJ.206/DRJD/2002. Dari variabel kinerja bus (load factor, headway, waktu tunggu, waktu perjalanan, waktu henti, jumlah armada, kecepatan kendaraan, kapasitas kendaraan dan waktu siklus) hanya nilai waktu tunggu dan kecepatan rata-rata yang sesuai dengan acuan. Karateristik pengguna didominasi oleh perempuan, usia 36-45 tahun, rumah di Kelurahan Lubuk Buaya, pekerjaan pegawai swasta, rentang gaji < Rp. 500.000, tidak memiliki kendaraan pribadi, jarak rumah ke halte 100 m-500 m, maksud perjalanan bekerja, mencapai halte berangkat dan tujuan akhir dengan berjalan kaki, waktu ke halte berangkat dan mencapai tujuan < 5 menit, lokasi halte berangkat di Terminal Anak Air, daerah tujuan Kelurahan Lubuk Buaya, dan alasan memilih bus karena keamanan dan kenyamanan bus

In order to counterbalance movement of the city&nbsp;is by building mass transportation. However, the number of users who interested in using Trans Padang Corridor IV is relatively low. For the passengers characteristics dominated by women, age range 36-45 years old, live in Lubuk Buaya urban village, private employee occupation, salary range &lt;Rp. 500,000, do not have personal vehicle, the distance from the house to the bus stop is about 500m-1 km, work trip destination, reach the departure bus stop and final destination on foot, the time took from the departure to the destination is &lt;5 minutes, the location of the departure stop is at the Lubuk Buaya bus stop, the destination area is Lubuk Buaya urban village, and the reasons for choosing the bus are because of the safety and the convenience of the bus
