Prefect Transfer of Quantum States on Spin Chain with Dzyaloshinskii- Moriya interaction in inhomogeneous Magnetic field

In this work, we use the Hamiltonian of a modified Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya model and investigate the perfect transfer of the quantum state on the spin networks. In this paper, we calculate fidelity in which fidelity depends on magnetic field and another parameters. Then, by using the numerical analysis we show that the fidelity of the transferred state is determined by magnetic field BB, exchange coupling JJ and the Dzyaloshinskii- Moriya interaction DD. We also found that the perfect transfer of the quantum state is possible with condition B≫Γ2Ο‰N/2B \gg \Gamma^2\omega^{N/2} where Ξ“=((J+iD)/2)\Gamma =((J+iD)/2) and Ο‰=Ξ“βˆ—/Ξ“\omega=\Gamma^*/ \Gamma.Comment: 8 pages, 2 figure

Analysis of a Bidirectional DC-DC Converter with High Voltage Gain

A novel bidirectional DC-DC converter with high conversion ratio is proposed in this paper. The proposed converter uses the three windings coupled-inductor to achieved high voltage conversion ratio. The primary side consist of a winding and secondary side consist of two windings, which these two windings are series to achieved high voltage gain.In the boost mode, a capacitor is parallel charged and series discharged by the coupled inductor. Thus, high step-up voltage gain can be achieved with an appropriate duty ratio. In the buck mode, a capacitor is series charged and parallel discharged by the coupled inductor. The bidirectional converter can have high step-down voltage gain. The stress voltage of main switches can be reduced, and efficiency can be improved. The operating principle and the steady-state analyses of the voltage gain are discussed. Finally, in 24V for low voltage, and 400V for high voltage, and 200W for output power, this converter is simulated in MATLAB

BACKGROUND: Myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSC) are categorized as granulocytic (G-MDSCs) and monocytic (M-MDSCs) and their expansion play a role in cancer progression. Recruitment to the cancer site depends upon the presence of a chemoattractant. We aimed to investigate the presence of MDSC subtypes and of interleukin-8 (CXCL-8) in the peripheral blood in lung cancer subtypes including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and small cell lung cancer (SCLC) patients. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Peripheral blood samples of 26 NSCLC patients, 18 SCLC patients, and 8 healthy control donors (HDs) were harvested and the surface expression of CD14, CD15, CD11b, and HLA-DR on MDSCs was measured using flow cytometry. The level of serum CXCL8 was measured by the ELISA method. RESULTS: The frequency of circulating M-MDSCs was significantly higher in patients with NSCLC than in SCLC and HDs. In contrast, there was no statistical difference concerning the frequency of circulating G-MDSCs between the three groups. The concentration of CXCL-8 was significantly higher in the NSCLC and SCLC patients than in HD control with no significant difference between NSCLC and SCLC groups. There was no correlation between serum CXCL8 and G-MDSC levels. CONCLUSION: Our data confirm a higher frequency of circulating M-MDSCs, but not G-MDSCs, in the blood of those suffering from NSCLC but not for SCLC cases. Measuring MDSC subtypes and serum chemotactic factors may have implications for the differential diagnosis of NSCLC
