This research is conducted to obtain the influence financial performance indicators; Return On Equity, Debt to Equity Ratio, Dividend Payout Ratio, Return On Assets, and Earning Per Share to the stock return of foods and beverage sector at Indonesian Stock Exchange..The sample used in this research is purposive sampling. There have been 15 samples taken from companies listing in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this study are secondary collected from financial statements.By using 95% of confidence level, it was found that Return On Equity, Debt to Equity Ratio, Dividend Payout Ratio, Return On Assets, and Earning Per Share significantly affect stock return. For further research, it is axpected to add some new variables effecting stock return

Analisis dan Perancangan Aplikasi Administrasi User pada Server Radius Berbasis Web (Studi Kasus Binus@Ccess)

Bina Nusantara University as one of the information technology-based educational institutions in Indonesia have used the Internet in learning activities. To meet the needs of Internet access, Binus provides students with BiNus@ccess Premium service. BiNus@ccess Premium already have an application to help admin to user management with the help of a centralized accounting system (which is provided by the RADIUS server). However, applications that use is still limited in some ways so that there are still many manual processes. Therefore we need an application that serves to replace the existing application but still supports the existing system. The methodology used to admin consists of interviews, questionnaires to users, observation to analyze the problem, designing application solutions, and evaluation by distributing questionnaires to the admin. With the RSIM applications, manual administrative processes can be eliminated because the user can perform the registration process and the addition of its own loans through the application by themselves. RSIM Applications can also provide solutions for prepaid voucher sales system because it provides the ability to generate a voucher, print vouchers, and see the voucher reports, list payment, and the sale report. Suggestions for further development is to create applications for the sale of voucher system with e-commerce or SMSgateway.

Antibiotic Susceptibility of Salmonella, Shigella and Vibrio Isolated From Diarrhea Patients in Jakarta, Indonesia

Background: The rapid increase of antibiotic resistance among enteric pathogens in developing countries has become a great concern. In Indonesia, Salmonella, Shigella, and Vibro are still an important public health problem. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the antibiotic resistance patterns of several diarrhea-causing enteric bacteria that are frequently found in Indonesia, particularly Salmonella, Shigella and Vibrio. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted , among 150 rectal swabs collected from patients with diarrhea, the enteric pathogens isolated comprised Shigella (11.4%), Salmonella (6.6%) and Vibrio(2.7%). Results: Antibiotic susceptibility test on Shigella species to several antibiotics such as ampicillin, chloramphenicol, tetracycline and, trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole showed a considerably high resistance rate (25%-100%), whereas ceftriaxone, ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin and nalidixic acid were apparently still effective (resistance rate 0%). Non-typhoid Salmonella had similar resistance patterns as those of Shigella, particularly to ampicillin, tetracycline, chloramphenicol and trimethoprim- sulfamethoxazole However, for S. typhi it was found that all antibiotics were still effective. Vibrio was resistant to ampicillin (resistance rate 100%), whereas the other antibiotics were still effective. Conclusion: It may be concluded that for each of the enteric pathogens the antibiotic resistance pattern should be determined. Use of antibiotics should be based on the antibiotic susceptibility tests
