An Effective Route to a C-Phosphorylated Pyridazinone via use of Ph2Li. Synthesis and Quantum-chemical Calculations
Reaction of Ph2PLi and Ph2PH with 4,5-dichloro-2-phenylpyridazin-3-one was studied. A bis-phosphorylated pyridazinone, 4,5-bis(diphenylphosphino)-2-phenylpyridazin-3-one was prepared. Quantum-chemical calculations were used to examine the electronic structure of the reagents and to evaluate the stability of probable reaction products

The new reaction path of the phosphorylation of 3,4-dichloro-5-hydroxy-2(5H)-furanone with trimethylsilylphosphite is found. It is established that the reaction involves two reaction centres to give 4- and 5-phosphorylation products
Phosphorylation of 3,4-dichloro-5-hydroxy-2(5H)-furanone with tributylphosphine
The reaction of 3,4-dichloro-5-hydroxy-2(5H)-furanone with 2 mol of tributylphosphine involves substitution of both chlorine atoms to form an unstable diphosphonium salt. The latter undergoes partial hydrolysis with cleavage of one of the P-C bonds, yielding finally a monophosphorylation product. A probable reaction pathway is considered in terms of quantum chemistry

A new approach to the synthesis of the first C-phosphorylated pyrrol-2(5H)-one is developed. Direct reaction of 3,4-dichloropyrrol-2(5H)-one with P-nucleophiles fails to give the desired compounds. The reaction of tributyl(5-hydroxy-3-oxo-2-phenylpyridazin-4-yl)phosphonium chloride with butyllithium involves dehydrohalogenation to form the corresponding ylide. The structure of the latter is studied by X-ray diffraction and discussed in terms of quantum chemistry
